Dominoes Classic Board Game Reviews

When I try to play the game I get the screen message that I must update my version in order to play. Your choices then become “Cancel” or “Update.” When I click on the Update button, it brings me to the assumed new version on DominoesClassicBoardGame Store, which gives you one option which is “Open.” That then brings me back to the original version that the game insists I must update, which then gives me the same two choices, to Cancel or Update. This circular nonsense goes on ad nauseum in a frustrating circle. What’s the problem?

I gave it a shot, but today I officially deleted the game. Mostly because it’s not easy to feel good when the computer player (renamed by me as “cheater”) let’s you win vs you actually winning. Everything written below this update remains the same.

Good game but I can tell on medium and hard settings that the computer opponent gets to pick dominos from their pile and the boneyard. Also at the end of a match the opponent loses they swap from the boneyard for lower value dominos. Otherwise there is no way for them to win that consistently. I suppose if they didn’t cheat then it would not be as challenging.

This has been my goto game for a while now. There were inconsistencies in the general game play for draw five, but the developer corrected it based on my previous review.

Ever since the update to iOS 14 though, the game is VERY slow and my phone gets extremely hot to the touch. It is a shame because this was such a great game for just relaxing, no stress fun. Hopefully these issues can be worked out soon.

EDIT: the ads in this game are definitely not as intrusive. That is a plus.

I have emailed the Dev about the fact that the stats keep getting reset. I knew when the game took a long time to start up that it lost the stats once again. Now my player name is Sarah for some reason with the reset. My version is at 1.0.24# and the bug still exists.

Please fix the tap and play option. Even though I don't have the slider set for tap and play if I touch one of my tiles and move it just slightly it'll jump onto the board.

I love the look and play of this game. I have played it frequently. There has always been a small constant ad playing at the bottom of the screen, then every few hands it would go to a full page ad that you could close out immediately. Unfortunately now it frequently goes to a full page ad with many of them 15 seconds long that you can't close out until you watch it. Maybe I don't want to watch some shooter killing a deer for 15 seconds or some game ad suggesting that you can win a ton of money. How about mentioning the fact that most of the players will lose money? This is what the game has become. There is no option to pay for the game to remove the ads. I will need to find an alternative. Bug fix 1.0.17# wiped clean all of my stats. This has happened on a prior occasion also. I have never had another game do that. Maybe stats are not important to the dev.

I loved this game but I updated DominoesClassicBoardGame about a week ago and since then everything has gone downhill. Specifically, when the game ends, and the opposing team has a higher count left on their tiles than I do, that amount goes to them because they won the game. This was not the case before. You could win the game but depending on the count at the end, the other team would win the points. So sorry I did this update. Thinking of deleting DominoesClassicBoardGame if this isn’t fixed soon.

Haven’t tried most advanced yet but if the middle is any indication of competition, no one could win playing the difficult setting.

I Played into a block against Linda or Sally, whatever, she had to draw 7 times before the next play. The result, I won the round and came away with a whopping 2 points.
Can you say “Ridged”.

This game was engaging until it keep crashing. However, once the bugs are worked out, it seems like a good game of dominoes.

Only complaint is that you could add names when playing with four players. Makes game more personal.

This Dominoes board game is quite fun. DominoesClassicBoardGame downloaded and installed without any issues. I love how the game provides a tutorial on how to play. I like the sound clicks of the tiles. I learned about the bones yard and the block. It's an intriguing game.

I am enjoying the game a lot. I can’t figure out how the player who starts the next round in Block Dominoes is determined.

I would like the option of playing with nine dominoes to startt the game ,more like a two person game

Dominoes board game classic is a exciting board game. It also called tiles game referred as bones. It has different modes one of the name is block dominoes. That’s why I enjoyed this game too much. Endless fun people will get. Excellent!

This block tiles game is extremely fun its like the classic, learned about the bones and boneyard on this game as well. Its pretty fun and easy to play and also easy to download with no crashes.

I think this is a great game. You can easily entertain it anytime, anywhere. Everything is good and you will feel very interesting. I am extremely pleased. Thanks very much.

The game keeps telling me the it needs updates but when I click on it, it sends me here but there no updates. What’s up with that?

Very few ads and they disappear quickly.

I did not have problems with any of the functions while playing this dominos board game...It has a nice simple design that is very easy too use and understand. Nicely Done!

I’ve tried almost every other app and they either make mistakes or have frustrating glitches. This one has simple graphics yet plays perfectly. On Hard setting it makes for a challenging opponent with smart gameplay, a good selection of options for different domino rules, and ads that are unobtrusive. I would pay for this game.

I do have minor quibbles that don’t detract greatly from enjoyment: one, I would prefer the dominos to be perhaps smaller when initially played so that they don’t move around constantly while adjusting to additions, two, I dislike seeing doubles played parallel to other tiles when they are at the edge of the board, and, three, for some strange reason DominoesClassicBoardGame alone all of my apps suddenly flips upside down unless my iPad is almost completely vertical.

This is the amazing dominoes board game I ever seen. This is one of the most played games in the world. This game is totally free to play. This game is very easy to play. This game is also called muggings and the tiles are sometimes referred to as bones. This game has three different levels. The block is so amazing in this game.

Its really good game, simple and easy to use. What i dont like about it is when i mute the sound in the game, ads sound is not muted which can be quite annoying. Btw nice trick to avoid ads is to disconnect from the internet, they will not show up :)

I didn’t know that they had a dominos app and accidentally found it. I used to play all the time with my friends it’s lots of fun and you get better at it the more you play figuring out the strategy and what the other player has or don’t have.

Graphics are nice.......I would like a background that makes it easier to see when you choose red or black dominoes. The three selection that are available, makes it hard for me to see when I choose those two colors. Overall, I enjoy the game!!!!

The programmers were quick to change a blip on the iPad version where the ads were covering the actual dominoes. Well done! Ads are not overwhelming at all. I play a paid version of another game and it’s gotten ridiculous with the addition of more ways to get tokens etc. It’s annoying. I just want to play a simple game. This is that game now. Brava!

Now DominoesClassicBoardGame proved classics are always being intelligent and perfect, this Dominoes Board game Classic is awesome and a great app to kill the boring time, DominoesClassicBoardGame is new but taste is classic, excellent features and good video and sound quality, it’s entertaining and at the same time too challenging, I think this is also good for our brain, this will surely improve our thinking quality, DominoesClassicBoardGame has endless fun levels, we really enjoyed, if you love board games then don’t wait, just download DominoesClassicBoardGame and enjoy, I think app developers are professional, we are waiting for new good updates in future, thanks a lot.

My board is failing to come up after playing it for a couple of months, glitching even after uninstalling then reinstalling, what the hells wrong , it’s my favorite game to play.. Fix It,,
