DominoesGold will constantly crash over and over and you will lose you entry fee. They will not refund you when this happens. What makes this worse is you need to win at least 60% of your matches just to break even. I win about 70% of my matches ( which should be a profit) and completely fail to make that profit due to lost entry fees in crashes. The only person making a profit is the site itself because they make 16.5% each time a game is played. So if you want to fatten their pocket be my guess other wise play a free app because you won’t win any money constantly ALL DUE TO POOR design, crashes, and bugs. Here’s the message you can expect to receive when you report a crash:

As we have explained, your rate of crashed match refunds exceeds our system norms by a significant margin. We are unable to offer refunds for any crashed matches until your crash rate is in line with the system average, at which point we will be able to offer refunds for crashes that occur after the rate has improved. Until such time as your refund rate improves, remember that you are playing at your own risk, and any matches played during this time will not be refundable, even if you become eligible for refunds in the future.

I received this message after my 5th reported crash...If you play this game consistently you will experience at least 5 crashes per day in live money games...Trust the 1 star reviews there are all facts!!

Update. Still a great game but still a bit frustrating on the high frequency of pulling the best possible bone from the pile within the first pull or two. Other than that very entertaining and they’ve upped the $$$$ to very high limits. Top Skillz app out there.

Great game 1vs 1 is what i like playing. Higher stakes would be nice. The only thing about DominoesGold is that the developers decided that if a player forced another player to draw from the boneyard that person drawing will most likely be rewarded with a scoring domino. I know that it is always possible to draw a scoring bone, but in DominoesGold the % of you doing so is way higher than a table game of dominoes. The boneyard is by no means randomly chosen and the deal is also not chosen at random.

The reviews that are posted about people joining a game and leaving and re-joining and leaving and re-joining and then the game says that you forfeited is very real!! Beware for those of you that actually put your hard earned money on this game I just downloaded it played five games and out of those 5, 2of them were done like that by the other player and it said I forfeited. There’s nothing you can do to stop it and the screen goes crazy repeating that same message and in the end although you did nothing wrong you lost. Luckily I hadn’t bet any real money because I wanted to see how the game really operated before I would do that, and all I can say is, until they get that fixed no way. Also beware, for real dominoes players, there’s only one way to play this game and that is with the spinner playing on all four sides pulling from the boneyard and getting points. Me personally I like to play for Domino forget them points I’ll take the points you have left in your hand but the beginners way not for me I want a real challenge.

Fun app, if you aren’t playing for money. If you are playing for money tread lightly, unless you are a pro don’t bother, it’s a waste of time and money. You need to keep about a 70% win percentage to see any gains. It’s a money hole to newbies players. You lose more than you win after the rake and fee, if that makes sense. The game is constantly crashing and filled with bugs. You will be reaching out to customer service multiple times a day for refunds, which they review and graciously provide without issue, if in the right. This is very annoying and tired some to be constantly having to report issues. I do have to admit the customer service is fantastic, they are very quick and responsive. It’s just a shame the game is so messed up. They need to invest in a better programmer or something to fix the bugs and run a smooth game. Every game is thrilling no matter which one of the 100’s they’ve got going these days!! I play soooo many of their games on a daily basis, I should be purchasing share of their that are now on the NY stock exchanged traded in the category E games…

I love this Dominos game since I used to play it regularly with a group of ppl.. now I don’t need the group any more I can play anytime anywhere I want to!! I’m sure those who enjoy board games will definitely find it fantastic! And for those of you who are not so into board games this is a good one for you to try out cause it’s fast moving and most matches only take a dew minutes to complete…

DominoesGold has a built in algorithm that tracks your win/loss percentage which will depends on the hand you get. For an example, when I was playing in the beginning it I was getting random hands which is normal. But I as rack up wins I was getting dominos that would literally force my hand right into my opponents hand causing them to scores double digits back to back constantly. Be careful when putting money in. Again this is a digital app. Meaning it can be programmed to benefit the developers. In other words save your money and just play the free games. (you’ve been warned). Last but nothing least there’s moderators that monitors the chat groups. For the most part they are bias, Unfair and have double standards to say the least. I reported these moderators to their costumer service which is pointless because they look out for their own. If I had the option to give it no stars I would. Simply put.

I first only gave this game 3 stars but after a little practice and I got the hang of how DominoesGold operates better and when you reach out to support they are quick. Yes you can win money and you can lose it. I will say that sometimes the hands are ridiculous but over all it’s one of the few games I play often. I suggest that they do something with the chat I can never find what they are talking back when DominoesGold displays message. Now the final Fifth star I gave DominoesGold is for how much better than other dominoe apps and it’s good old fashion dominoes with no strange rules . You also get rewards in cash to play so enjoy it’s getting better

Skillz is an extremely shady business. I have been playing various Skillz games for several year. This is what I can tell you:

Dominoes is one of their biggest assets.

They scam people for money regardless of people (in chat) telling you that you just need to play better.

When you first start you will not notice the above issues. And the game itself is fun however, when you play for an extended period they do take advantage.

FYI they do have a stock.

Their game constantly crashes. Once in a while is understandable but, it ALWAYS happens. They will start to refund you and then they will say that you have reached the limit for refunds. This is because people take advantage and try to cheat refunds. I understand this, however, they say that when you have reached your refund limit you need to wait 30 days. The issue is that I will receive a refund, then a notification that I cannot receive a refund due yo reaching my limit and then the next “aborted” match I will receive a refund. This all happens (frequently) within 15-20 min. Which makes no sense to their “30 day” refund policy. I have asked for clarification several times but, they will not clarify or just completely ignore me.

This company is shady, do not deposit money with them. Take my word for it. This whole company is a scam and it all has to do with stocks and politics.

I love playing this game, but something needs to be done about it constantly crashing! It’s horrible! When you deposit real money, you should be able to play the game without the worry of losing money due to crashes!! I play other Skillz games and hardly ever have this issue.

I report the crashes like we’re told to do, only to be told that I’ve had too many issues and they will stop refunding the entry fee. I’m also told that my internet and WiFi will cause the game to crash. I can totally understand this IF it was actually the problem!! Full bars on internet, and WiFi is fully functioning and running fast. If it was in fact my internet or WiFi having connection issues, how is it possible to play another Skillz game with no problem???
Please figure out the problem and update DominoesGold so people aren’t losing their butts off due to an issue with the game!!!!!

DominoesGold is robbery at its finest! They have this programmed for you to loose your money. Soon as you start winning they send a fake profile computer player to beat you and take your money. This is not a fair app, I’m an excellent domino player been playing for 15 + yrs and I know when I’m being cheated and not given what I need and all of a sudden the fake profile computer player has everything they need and beats me every time. I started to write down the names of the suspected profiles beating me and guess what it was the same ones that come when I’m winning and beat me to make my profit drop back down! These ain’t random people it’s random until they see you winning and there comes the fake profiles. This should be illegal or controlled so these app developers can get in trouble for the scams they program into their games. It’s all a scheme to make you loose and spend more money with them!

Downloaded the game. Put $10 went on a lil streak and was going to keep making money but then I got to a game where my opponent lagged out So then i started up another $3 game. (You have to pay 1.80 to play and if you win you get $3. But your profit will only be $1.20 & the Golden Dominoes make $ .60) I got matched up with the same guy. 50 points into our second $3 game he lags out. So I continue my hot streak and look for another $3 game.... once again. The same guy. This time he doesn’t lag. And I have come from behind Victory. So after that I jumped on here. Checked reviews. Saw that people were in his spot LOSING MONEY. I wrote this review and now I’m bout to go withdraw my $40 and pay that withdraw fee? And be happy I was one of the lucky ones.

This game should make it more straight up bets. No funny numbers, charge % fee and run some adds. I don’t think golden dominoes should be making half my pot for hosting the game.

DominoesGold is actually free. I have been playing for months and there are no ads. When you feel like playing for money you can to make it more fun. I might eventually but so far it’s been totally free and no annoying ads whatsoever. DominoesGold also has a good connection so I don’t get thrown out in the middle of a game. There is a timer so you don’t get bored waiting for your opponents to make their moves. Auto lose if you don’t make the move in time. Come play me. 😀

I’ve recently learned how to play dominos,well I’m still learning an I really enjoy it. I can’t wait to get home from work and get back on my game, I will get home around 6pm from work and start playing and alot of times look up and it will be 10pm an time to take me a shower and go to bed because I have to get up early. I’ve been practicing to try to be able to beat my brother who says he’s the champ but he’s a trash talker but I’m sure he’s tuff to beat but I love learning how to play with you guys and hope to be able to at least surprise him if not beat him. I play on various skills platforms and had never had an issue until I had started playing domino’s. I’ve had multiple games that I played the final domino which put me over the games required 100 points, just to have it glitch out and say that I aborted a game that I literally just had finished and won. Yes the staff had reimbursed me without issue after they reviewed the game. But watch it because eventually they won’t even bother reviewing submitted crashes. I had unfortunately got someone who grouped my game crashes together just to close them out without having even looked at them.
Don’t waste your money or time. Skillz in general isn’t a bad company, but this group or branch of Skillz staffers lack professionalism and that’s all there is to it

This is worst company ever they let their mods do as they wish . They will ask for sexual pics if not given u can play the gam ever you won’t be able to chat with other players . And when you play money matches you and the other on player put your hard earned cash in and they will say you aborted either taking whole POT of money. Or giv you back for example $1.80 entry they give u $1.50 I return. But they keep the .30 . That’s no different than stealing . I have no reason to lie once you download the chat stays full of people asking why it abort me and take my money ? Well the MOD GODS will mute you for negative talk in chat . This is biggest scam in the whole apple market . I’m currently pursuing legal matter with them for sexually harassment. DONT DOWNLOAD UNLESS YOU WANT MONEY STOLEN.

Domino gold is a scam I recently put money into the account on Dominoes Gold I played over 1000 games I became a black tea remember it was all good when I was playing making the money but when I did a withdrawal to cash out my winnings it took weeks and I did not get paid I reached out to them and said where is my check they said it is coming now two days ago I just received the email that it said I was cheating that they won’t be able to pay me there is no way to cheat on Dominoes Gold they give you 15 seconds to play going to 100 points they record all games they are liars and scammers all they wanna do is keep all the money they will get sued by my family attorney and I will get way more than 5000 that they owe me me

I am a huge fan of Dominoes and decided to follow the advert in Flyclop's Dominoes for Dominoes Gold.
Bear in mind that the main purpose of DominoesGold is for them, the owners of DominoesGold , to make money, not you.
Your games are heavily skewed via algorithms to make you lose, particularly if you are playing for money against their computer. The bones you get and what the computer gets are unbelievably manipulated to make you lose. Random does not exist at alll, just forget it. If a 4-4 is the bone that will make most damage on you, you can rest assured that the computer will get it and kill you.
I had to reinstall DominoesGold once as it got totally stuck.
If you play for DominoesGold fictitious money, Z, you may win but you won't see the reward.
The only way to play again is by making a deposit of money.
The instructions are not clear at all. On purpose?
Hugely disappointing, I truly expected more and, above all, something fair.
I find it odd that Flyclops, the makers of Dominoes, are being associated with such a shady app. I decided to try it just for Flyclops but they are tarnishing their reputation by being associated to such a scam. Shame on you Flyclops.

PLEASS BE VERY CAREFUL WITH DominoesGold, LOOKS SUPER FIXED in the very beginning they say that they will match you with opponents of your same skill levels, what is mostly true in the very beginning when you play for low stakes, but as soon as you move over $20, you will be match up with a way more skilled players than you and they will rip your money out with ease So... my Advice, is you are not a championship degree DO NOT PLAY THIS GAME!! They are super sneaky and the costumer services not going to refund anything to you

They say they pair you up with those in your same “skill level” yeah that’s bull crap. I played 15 games(cash game, might I add; cash that I deposited thinking the game was actually fair) and out of those 15 games. I won 1, and that was only because the other person must of quit half way thru. I have never really liked any of these “skills” branded games; they all seem kinda ridged, but this one takes the cake and fully made up my mind that they are ridged. You will never win real money no matter how much you deposit. There are plenty other games that are as well designed and actually fair; you won’t them all but you also won’t feel like your literally wasting your money.

I mean for the most part DominoesGold is decent but it’s frustrating and I personally wouldn’t put any money in it. I played practice modes to see if I would like DominoesGold and I was instantly annoyed with how the scores are kept. It doesn’t matter how good you are you WIlLL ALWAYS get outplayed even when you beat your opponent it’s ridiculous. I scored a high score in a game 100-5 and beat my opponent but I still ended up losing which was hard to believe. After the game DominoesGold generates a score that the opposing players supposley received in their game. Majority of the time rather you win your match or not you lose at the end when DominoesGold generate the scores. It should be simple if you outscore your opponent then you should win period.

I love playing the domino games. Its very fun as long as you do not bet any money. I am convinced that the games are rigged. when I play opponents with no financial stakes involved usually it’s pretty balanced where I win a few or lose a few. I’m pretty skillful so I tend to win more than lose. but as soon as I put an actual wager down, miraculously my opponents win the game within 6 to 8 moves and it happens on every game when a wager is involved. if this happened in practice mode I wouldn’t be suspicious, but after going through this a few times I truly believe this game is designed to have people dump money into it with a slim chance of winning. just thought you’d like to know.

I actually love the game itself but it’s a set up. I have added so much money to this game and have never made enough to even be close to cash out. If you start winning a few times they will literally start setting the dominoes. They cheat you will bots to play you. Then will I play in the live tournaments if there app stops working and it makes me lose because it won’t let me play or it will say network reset or something like that and then the game goes off. Lose again. And when you tell them if they say that it’s happened too many times they will not give you your money back. They keep your money and there is nothing you can do about it. They have never let me win past $15. If I do get that much the next game they start rigging the games. You best believe you won’t win again until your money is gone and you add more. And I mean it. This is the biggest scamming game I have ever seen.

OK so this is how this game go you deposit you win 2 or 3 hands then the force you to lose you can see it that is forcing you to play and then you had to lose and you keep going over and over like that to everybody so basically, the money that you deposit is just to give it to DominoesGold eventually you need to deposit more and you never win. Nobody wins these app got a chat room and if you talk about it, they will block you but only from chatting they still let you play. How convenient if you get to them through email and the point they also block you email because they don’t want hurt about it it doesn’t matter how good you are it doesn’t matter where what can you choose? You are to be a loser no matter what my recommendation don’t play in DominoesGold back in 2005 discover the sum of DominoesGold or many of DominoesGold the stealing peoples money so they are selling countries in southern state that you not allowed to use DominoesGold because they don’t approve it but they are others that they don’t care they still getting taxes out of there

I typically don’t write reviews for apps. I delete DominoesGold and move on. But the money aspect, awkward scoring, and boneyard play of this game leads to this review.

Game play is not against “live” opponents in real time. Allegedly, you are matched against a live opponent but you each play against the computer Bot. The Bots have different skill levels and the player that beats the Bot by the most points wins. There is no way of knowing what your opponent is doing or how you are scoring in relation to your opponent? It’s not clear if you are playing the same computer bot as your opponent as well. Once the game ends, the computer determines the winner in the head to head match up based on points, speed of game, and margin of victory versus the Bot. This leaves a lot of room for manipulation of the score and there seems to be an exaggerated number of 1 point victories and loses.

I have played computer dominoes for 20 years and this is one of the worst set ups I have seen. The bone yard is one domino stacked on another and you don’t get to choose like other games. You get the top of the stack which seems a bit shady. On multiple occasions I was destroying an “expert” bot and the bone yard become the place the computer makes up points. Not enough to win, just enough so you can’t beat your “live” opponent.

Example, You can win 10 games in a row vs the bot, but end up losing all 10 games to the opponent.

I deleted and moved on.
