Doesn’t work

Using this on an iPhone 15 that is only a couple of months old and the app will just randomly stop recording and throw up error messages. And anything you’ve already recorded is lost. It’s super annoying… How do I give this zero stars? Don’t waste your time.

It’s confusing trying to just record audio without video. The microphone headphone out should have some kind of option for playing the recorded video you’re working on without live mic pickup going at the same time. It should remember your audio settings, or at least compression and such should be on by default. Doesn’t support multitasking, so it’s hard to actually read a script with this.

I’m sure it’s a fine app, but I wouldn’t know because it wouldn’t let me actually use it without enabling location tracking, so I uninstalled. Come on, Røde…It’s a camera!! Camera and microphone access make perfect sense, but why must I turn on location tracking to record video…? Silly choice imo.
