I've been using the OG iFunny for the better part of 6 years. I haven't updated it in 4 years. About a month ago iFunny just stopped working, very likely due to them cutting off old version support. I had heard so many bad things about new updates so I downloaded this version instead just in case the updates were *that* awful. Immediately after 1 post I was hit with a double ad about downloading iFunny X, iFunnyX I was using. About 4 posts later I was hit with 2 porn ads. There's about 1 ad per 3 comments on each post. After ~ 2 days of using iFunnyX it has completely stopped working. Opening comments by swiping down doesn't work, clicking on the comments button ALSO doesn't work, and half the time the UI doesn't even show up. Tried to reopen iFunnyX to see if that would fix it but iFunnyX crashed on the first post immediately after. If you're contemplating updating iFunny don't. The ads alone are ridiculously overkill and annoying. iFunnyX itself doesn't work either. Wait to see if OG iFunny will fix older versions or just give iFunnyX up because these updates are atrocious.

It’s literally the ifunny app, recycling older features from a year or more ago. Only thing is, there’s way more soft core porn on iFunnyX than the original. I thought that was the point? Less politics, less porn, less hate, more general memes. But nah. First day I used iFunnyX it was fine. No naked women or women drawn naked. Then I told my buddy about it, and he told me about all the SC porn. So I got back on iFunnyX to check it out and I swear every day I had iFunnyX it was worse. It’s officially deleted now, but I figured I could let some of you know— if you download iFunnyX , you’re just gonna see a bunch of partial nudity and some old features.

I had closed and opened iFunnyX when I thought it was stuck but I waited multiple minutes between and nothing ever loaded. This is just knock off, watered down I funny. Also if you don’t like Ifunny why are you using it? I get you wanna look at memes but there are a lot of places to go. If you are upset about how people talk to each other and words they use why haven’t you gone to somewhere else. Im not trying to gate-keep I just don’t understand why go through the trouble of all of this. This version of iFunnyX is trash.

It’ll work great for about 5-10 minutes and then it will slow down, stop working, and basically lock up my phone. Then I spend a few minutes trying to force close it so I can get my phone back.

The ads can be intrusive. Occasionally iFunnyX Store will open without my permission and even my web browser (which is REALLY uncool). I also wish you could blacklist certain ads- there’s one for some sort of furry porn game I would really love to stop having to see that garbage.

The amount of racism, antisemitism, homophobia, violence, and other extreme unmoderated content is purely unacceptable.

I have seen legitimate death threats and people being killed in videos in iFunnyX, as well as borderline terrorist threats. I had to get law enforcement involved because someone was threatening to secretly poison someone they knew just for being gay.

The extremist content has almost entirely taken over, with a guise of a few memes on top of it.

iFunnyX should be taken off iFunnyX Store immediately, or be forced to undergo some kind of review. It is unacceptable, and the fact that it’s still up is baffling to me…

Theres this dude named iiShiggyDiggy thats posting inappropriate stuff and making this place a toxic community. I tried to report them but iFunnyX has a thing for "report abuse" even though I wasnt doing that. Can you guys just ban him or something? This person seems to have no life and goes through iFunnyX just to find a way to cure his mentality.

I’ve used iFunny since 2016 and this new version is so terrible, everything on this version is censored where the original is all about free press. The Russian invasion is all over the og app and this is more like tiktok hiding everything. The old community isn’t “toxic” you are just soft. So if you want a good app delete this and download the OG IFunny, you can thank me later

Literally no different from the original. Still full of loser teenagers thinking they’re so hardcore and shocking, still full of whiny man babies crying over their terrible taste in women, still full of shcizo nutbags talking about (((them))) and Epstein.

Garbage app. The funniest thing is it being called IFunny because there is nothing funny anymore with the above infestations.

Don’t know if anyone else experiences this, but just recently the ads on iFunnyX have rendered me unable to use for more than 5 minutes at a time. I’ll be scrolling through my subfeed and I’ll get 2, sometimes 3 ads in a row. Repeat like 3 times until my entire phone freezes up and I have to wait about 30 seconds just to close this app.

I miss FunCorp…

I used to be addicted to iFunny a couple years back, but I downloaded it to my new phone recently and it’s gone in a weird direction. It has occasional laughs, but it’s mostly a Christian platform now. Every other post is Jesus being round-house kicked into your eyeballs. If that’s what you’re into, than give it a shot.

I was bored so I tried out iFunnyX. What I found out is that it links to your account in the (actual) iFunny, so that you can effectively have two windows open at the same time.

Not bad. Most of the content has nothing the do with it’s category though.

Love the entertainment but the spyware that’s in bedded that freezes my phone causing me to have to do a hard shut off only allow me to rate it three stars

Why is there 2 different apps called ifunny? One is just called ifunny and the other is ifunny X whats the difference?

Good app on its own login worked just fine, I heard from Reddit this is like the same community or app itself so it’s good too, and best of all, my Explore tab returned!! 5/5 I love this.

Come to I funny to get your rants, uncensored information that is censored in other apps and/or media and the world will hear you

Not happy with my post being blocked when the content was put together from other or similar memes that were posted already on here with no issues. Don’t like my content being that censored especially when I’m I’m using Ifunny X. If you have little tiny feelings don’t get on here, they’re just memes meant for fun. iFunnyX is getting a little to sensitive.

I would literally play a game where I would take a shot every time I saw a super racist right wing post on original ifunny, and would get knocked out in 5 minutes. Not here!

There was a video with a slightly darker skinned person, and the top comment with over 5k likes was simply “jeet nvgger humor” (I don’t agree with it that’s just what it was). There was certainly lots of teamwork in that comment section!

Decided to give it a shot today and wow I’m impressed!! Its literally OG iFunny before the invasion of ads. You get your same account too
