Rip off

I would give it a zero if i could. I purchased a recolor and watermark remover my phone needed to be replaced and when i re downloaded ColorPop my purchase wasnt there and wouldnt restore. And they won’t restore so money down the drain
When i contacted customer service they emailed me back as if i was incompetent i explained to the. That i tried to restore it and they proceeded to send me emails with step by step instructions on how to restore which i know how to do and it didn’t work which is why i contacted them in the first place then they asked if it was the same iTunes account. This is aggravating because it means they have horrible customer service and don’t read the initial email they receive as mine had already Stated that i used this iTunes account. To purchase blah blah and blah and then i got a new and phone and went to restore and it didn’t work. So pretty much crappy customer service who don’t take time to read an actual email to help you. Give generic computerized responses and they don’t restore your Purchaes they just take you Money

Purchase Issue

I purchased ColorPop fully in October and after using for a while I really loved it and decided to buy the full version to remove the ads and watermarks so that i can use my own. Long story short ColorPop is wonderful but I’m curious as to why I’m seeing watermarks and ads again. My phone was stolen and left me inactive for about 3 months I finally was able to get blessed with iPhone X and get back to doing my photo edits when I noticed the ads and watermarks again. I hoping by restoring purchase I’m not gone be charged another $10 bucks. Def will remove the 1 star once this is resolved or as long as I don’t see another $10 charge on my Apple Pay transaction. Thanks!

Update: Situation resolved per app rep! All good!

Great app

Ok. I dont understand why people are hating on ColorPop. It does what it says. People are saying thats it’s glitching but i have not found any problem with ColorPop . Also I created awesome things on ColorPop that i could not do without it. The adds in ColorPop are short and are there because ColorPop is free. Also the attachment you can buy is not necessary and ColorPop works fine without it, in my opinion you dont need it ColorPop works just as well without it.
Overall i like ColorPop.

Better than I expected

I thought this would be really bad, but it’s actually pretty decent. You have lots of option, and it’s easy to use. The only downside is that fact that you have to purchase specific filters. There are also lots of ads and the watermark is a bit too much. Luckily, it’s pretty cheap to get rid of the watermark and ads, so I did so. Another concern is the (sorta) bad quality. When you zoom in on the photo, it’s extremely pixelated and is hard to see what you’re ‘coloring’. It’s not the quality of the photo itself because I take my photos with a great camera. The quality is normally really nice, but on ColorPop , it is very pixelated. Hopefully they will change that, but overall, I’m looking forward to using ColorPop in the future:)

Slowwwwwwwwwwwww!

Okay so I have had ColorPop for quite some time. When it works (rarely) it’s great but most of the time is stays on the same page almost in a frozen state. During this time you can’t do anything. You end up having to force close it and reopen it but that does not always work. Sometimes I have to go into my edited photos and change a few things and then try back but that does not always work. Very frustrating to say the least.

But like I said when it does work it’s great. After going through the reviews I have seen the same thing plaguing others for years. I hope you all have an update coming to fix this or at least a reason it does this.

slow

i mean i haven’t gone as far as actually purchasing anything but if u want the effect that u can see other people do where the colored part pops out it’s definitely worth it. i found that it’s very slow and if i tap on something it takes some time to happen. i even have one of the new iphones so i don’t see why that’s happening other than it being ColorPop . i still won’t go as far as purchasing anything because of the reviews i’m seeing of it not being worth it. so all in all, if you really want to specially edit your photo don’t get ColorPop but if you simply just want the idea of having certain parts be colored in a B&W photo this works fine.

App was okay...

ColorPop works fine, though when I tried to close out of an ad, it completely glitches me out of ColorPop . I was working on a detailed project. When I opened ColorPop back up, it loaded and took me back to the home page and that made me very annoyed. I would only recommend ColorPop to people who don’t mind glitches, an extremely large amount of ads, and only do small projects with ColorPop. It can be very annoying especially when you are working on a project, it gives you an ad, you try to exit out of it, glitches you out, and restart my entire project. So it worked for awhile, but got glitchy and gave you way too many ads.

Fantastic!

I don’t often write reviews for apps but I felt really obligated this time because generally when you get a photo editing app for free, everything ends up being money. But the amount of things you could do with your picture, the quality, and the extra filters I thought was pretty great for a free app, I would definitely recommend this product.

It’s a great app but

I loved using ColorPop! It’s good. However, I had purchased the subscription and I was being billed but for some reason ColorPop stopped accepting my subscription. It kept saying I needed to purchase the subscription. I checked everything including updates and there was nothing. So I’m sorry to give ColorPop three stars but you need to fix this! I find it very frustrating that I get the subscription and it works but then all of a sudden I can no longer get what I am paying for.

Finally Reviewing This Fantastic App

I’ve had ColorPop for a long time, (2 years maybe) and it’s been great. I had held off reviewing recently because the iPhone XR UI had an issue, but within a week of being informed, it has been remedied. It does exactly as advertised, is simple to operate. The iPad app is great as well, especially when combined with an Apple Pencil.

Needs a better tutorial

I think I could really like this if I was able to operate it. There needs to be a much more expanded tutorial. Currently, it only shows you how to do two things. I wish the tutorial taught you much more and gave you a photo to practice the lesson it’s teaching as part of the lesson. There are buttons on ColorPop that the tutorial doesn’t address, and I still don’t know how or when I should use them.

It’s not as great as it looks

I was so excited to try ColorPop but a little disappointed. It’s hard to know what exactly you are coloring, it doesn’t zoom in enough and the little dot is not defined enough. There are a couple choices of which one to use, but no explanation of what the difference is and I couldn’t tell when I used them?? It’s still fun to use, but if you want to use the change color feature you have to pay for it.

I want a full refund

I used to love ColorPop and use it for hours and hours straight when I had nothing to do so I just ended up buying premium for a full year, it is TERRIBLE! I can't even use it because after buying the year premium it still won't let me recolor or anything! Premium says no ads but there's ads all the time! This is unacceptable and I hope either they fix this issue or give me my money back because I'm not gonna just delete ColorPop and walk away after paying $30 for premium.

Love but needs better color control

I mostly want to recolor images using pale pastel colors. I find it difficult to do that. Color Pop needs to have default pastel color options.

I would like to have the MS Paintbrush eye dropper feature that can sample an image’s color and save it to the color palette allowing identical colors to be used across multiple images.

Needs a whiter color option than gray.

Collage needs option to pick the same photo more than once. Case in point, my cousins we’re climbing a cliff. They appeared very small in the photo. Using that one photo, I wanted to zoom in on both of them and have them appear in a side by side collage panels.

It’s okay

I love color pop but I do not like how you do not have full access to the other cool effects and i know that’s how they make their profit but I think it would be nice if you have access to all the features for the first 10 photos and then said here are the prices for the filters and other effects instead of making people pay hard earned money for his app other than that it’s not that bad of an app that is my only concern

Update

It was AWSOME when updated but once I updated it again it had changed completely back to its original format. I can no longer save my progress on pictures or save the color I last used. I am really upset about and please fix!

Not worth downloading

ColorPop is free to download and as expected includes ads. However, in order to really do anything worth using ColorPop for you have to buy a color bundle. You start off with like orange and black and white... you can’t even really try out ColorPop to see if it will do what you want without paying.

The advertisements should make the developer enough money to allow users a free all access trial but that don’t. I rate ColorPop 1 star because the developer expects you to buy their product without being able to fully test it.

Not even a chance to evaluate

Deleted after about 3 minutes. If you are going to take over the screen with countdown ads every few SECONDS, to the point of making ColorPop useless to even evaluate, I won’t even consider purchasing it no matter how good the paid version is. You’ve got to give someone the opportunity to see if they like ColorPop , and if it is something they would pay for. Maybe more ads as time goes on, but to blast ads from the first opening, is a sure way to get me NOT to purchase it.

It is good - just to add the color

This is really great at adding back in the pop of color, Jeanne catchy little name. The editing features are great, with respect to size and opacity of the color strokes. Also a great little zoom box pops up to help guide you with smaller more precise edits.

The reason I’m giving this 3 stars is that I paid the $9.99 for the bells and whistles and assumed when I paid to remove the this app watermark, that I could add my own watermark in its place.

Somewhat satisfied

I really enjoy using ColorPop as it’s pretty easy to use along with my Apple Pencil. However there is only one pet peeve that I have with it. It’s that there’s no landscape mode or rotation support for the images when using the application and I feel it really hinders the creative process. I would give it a higher rate if one of those two features were implemented. I hope to hear from you back.

Really

I know that this isn't a professional editor, but this is just sad.
Basically, you just take a photo, and the program makes it gray. Whenever you draw, it brings the color back. However, it's not perfect. I tried to make some cactus colors pop, but there were a lot of spots that I didn't want colored in that were colored in. (Usually around the protruding spikes.)
What would make this good is if you could just select a color, and it would only colorize that.
If I am wrong, and you can make it do what I want it to do, please write back to me. But, for now, I rate it 1 star.
