Here are some helpful workarounds that should work whenever OptN app keeps crashing or doesn't work as expected on your iPhone 14, 13,12,10,8,7,6, SE,XS,XR.

How to fix OptN app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the OptN app on iPhone
Update OptN app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall OptN iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix OptN on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve OptN network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, Goto "Settings" » "General" » "Reset" » "Reset Network Settings".
2. Enter your device passcode. Then confirm "Reset Network Settings".

Turn off your VPN:
1. Goto "Settings" » "General" » "VPN".

OptN Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix OptN not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Follow these steps to resolve intermittent OptN app issues:

Force Stop the OptN App
1. On android, goto "Settings" » click OptN app. » click "Force Stop".

Update OptN to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear OptN App Cache and Data:
1. On your device, goto "Settings" » click "Apps" » select "OptN app" » click "Storage" » click "Clear Data" option. This Clears both data and cache.
2. Relaunch OptN.

Fix OptN unable to contact server/ OptN internet connection errors on Android:

This issue is usually caused by your network. Here is how to fix:

On android, goto "Settings" » "Apps" or "Manage Apps" tab.
Click OptN » "Force Stop".
Next, goto "Storage" » "Clear Data".
Again, got OptN » "Mobile Data" » "Allow Background Data Usage".
Go back to "Settings" » "Connections" » "Mobile Network" » "Network Mode".
Now, put your network on 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch OptN on android.
