Sure, the ads play but you often don’t get a reward from them as they freeze. Yes, the ap is updated and yes my device is up to date, but they freeze anyway. Could have been a nice zen game, but there are things constantly flashing and wiggling to get you to watch more ads and the way it’s designed, I doubt paying would help much with that. The images are pretty though, so at least that’s worth three stars. Update: I’m done with these three part ads that have four ads on each page; after enduring all that, they don’t close when you hit “close”, so you have to close CatsSoup and don’t get the reward, but there is little you can do without watching ads. When I came to update my review, I saw there was an update, so I updated it hoping they’d fixed the problems, but CatsSoup won’t even run now. It opens, then freezes. My phone is running the most recent version of iOS. They need to test their app far better. It’s just not worth my time anymore. Final update: I tried one last time, CatsSoup finally works again after the last update, but after being away from it for a few days or so, I’ve realized just how busy CatsSoup is, everything is moving, juggling, or flashing and needing to watch ads to do most anything doesn’t help as they aren’t calm either. I’ve now deleted CatsSoup in favor of apps that are far more calm. I play to relax, not to be overstimulated.

While this game is really sweet and pretty relaxing, there are some issues I have gameplay-wise. Part of it is the astounding amount of grinding simply to get ONE new item that just doesn’t feel all too rewarding to me. Because of all the grinding and all the money-making it takes, this game eventually just kind of becomes exhausting to play. You’re sitting there, waiting for something to happen, all the time, waiting just for your cats to make soup of which you have to do for ages just to get enough money to get a single item. I get that this is an idle game, and it’s probably beneficial to just turn it off and do something else with your time then simply just waiting, but it caps out at some point and you’re just left there feeling like you’ve gained nothing at all. I appreciate the effort put into this game, but all the waiting and overwhelmingly expensive items that just make you spend more and more overtime, it’s just tiring. And I won’t forget the fishing mechanic. Although it’s a great idea to be able to feed your cats and gain affection from them, you have to wait ages to refill your bait. All of these things combined, I just eventually stopped playing the game. There doesn’t seem to be anything enjoyable about the excessive waiting and how slowly you make money that turns this from a rather relaxing experience of an idle game to mind numbing waiting that doesn’t feel rewarding.

This is a great idle game. I love games like this that I can set down and accumulate currency after a few hours. There are plenty of cats and customization options for them. However, there are also a few things that bother me. One of those is the progression. In the beginning, it’s not bad. You get a facility built and then the next one isn’t too far away. In the later game, it’s awful. It sometimes takes up to a week to get a new facility built. Right now, I have to get 40,000 coins before I’m able to build again. That’s a ridiculous amount of coins, and quite frankly; it’s very discouraging. I’ve found myself taking more and more breaks between playing because of this. Another issue is the ads breaking. Sometimes after you watch an ad, there won’t be a close ad button. I know they’re on timers, but I waited about a minute before closing out of CatsSoup entirely. When I logged back in. The reward was not granted. Lastly, sometimes the offline bonus doesn’t appear. If I leave CatsSoup without closing it and come back to it a few hours later, I’ll have the same amount of coins/energy as I did when I put it down.

Overall, this is a good game. I enjoy a majority of it. But some things have bothered me for a bit now.

Adorable game with a variety of things to do. You can dress up cats, name them, assign them jobs, decorate their homes, go fishing and play a claw game. I do enjoy playing it, especially because right now they have a summer event where you can collect seashells to trade them in for stuff. You can build a library or herb stand, but they only work if you watch ads. Ads are not technically required to play this game, but if you don’t watch them it’s very slow moving because everything in game gets more “expensive” as you progress. If you don’t watch ads you just have to check in on the game every few hours to see how much gold they’ve collected. But for the ads themselves, they do glitch and you won’t collect anything from them sometimes. They’re rigged so it takes forever to exit out of them and they open up CatsSoup Store on you. As well as, sometimes when you agree to watch an ad, the entire game switches to my safari browser so I have to exit out of it. That seems reaaaallllyyy sketchy to me, especially because nothing pops up but an empty browser screen. But I do really like the “alternative” ads where they show you what you can purchase in-app.

It’s a really cute game with really cute graphics. However, I do think the tutorial on how to play needs to be a bit longer, I spent about half an hour googling things, trying to figure out how to actually play the game and do certain things they don’t really show you how to do anything besides do the initial set up and they leave you on your own for the rest. I know that it’s a free game but to literally do almost anything on this game You have to watch a 30 second ad and after a while that just gets really annoying. But I do understand it’s a free game and they need the ads, but there’s just so many of them, like if I were to sit here and play the game for just 10 minutes straight. I would probably have to watch at least 10 ads while doing it to get anything done. Also, the cat tree house is a really cute idea but it doesn’t really serve a purpose besides just being a cute and fun thing so I don’t like that a lot of the rewards go towards something that I don’t really have an interest in I wish that there was a way to transfer the furniture coins for regular coins for the game instead because if I’m being honest, I’m never going to use the cat tower and I wouldn’t mind if they took it out of the game and added some new events or new goals instead of the cat tree.

I truly do love this game. The graphics, the cute cats, the entire concept is great. I feel like it is perfect for a long term game to play over the course of many years & I hope it will continue to grow & get better in the future.

Though I love this game, there is a flaw. Mainly being that it takes FOREVER to actually get to build your town/village of cats because in order to rapidly get the coins like they advertise; they try to persuade you into spending your own money on the game in exchange for their currency on the game. Don’t get my wrong… I know what you’re thinking, “…Well, isn’t that just about every online game?” & the answer to that is yes. 100% the majority of games today have this. The only issue I have with it is that you really can’t get very far, in a reasonable amount of time, without it getting monotonous.

I still have a love for this game, & will continue to play it & support it. I just really hope this flaw gets worked out. I would like to be able to expand in this game but it’s hard when it is so hard to earn coins.

I’m having a lot of fun playing this game. The art style is very pleasing and the music is relaxing. It’s just challenging enough that you have to think about decisions but not too challenging that it becomes stressful. It’s a great game to unwind with after a long day of work or school.
Every part of the game has been good for me ( although it took me a while to figure out the money system because it only goes to the next letter at 10,000, when the conversion is 1000 to 1) except for the fishing. Now, I actually checked in my settings, and I have spent a total of 18 hours in this game since I downloaded it, and not once in that time have gotten any fish rarer than one on the rare level. I have no idea if it’s even possible to get one of the legendary fish. I do understand the point of it is that they’re hard to get, I would just like some explanation on what it takes to actually get one. Generally, I would appreciate better explanations of many of the aspects of the game in like an FAQ style.

I love the game from its customization to the details in the animation. It’s diversity with cats is wonderful and collecting them is nothing but fun. I started about 4-5 months ago which I thought wasn’t bad. You can customize everything from the stations your cats work at, to the cats rooms, to the actual cats themselves. The cats have hats, clothes, accessories, and even friends. My only gripe comes in at furniture, while I’d like to provide every cat I have with every piece of furniture I desire I can’t. Most of the furniture on the game is “event limited” meaning you had to play then to receive it. While I’d like to decorate my Santa cat with a Christmas tree and a reef I can’t, and that’s a reoccurring problem with many other cats. A good solution would be either to add more furniture while also taking off the event limited items since we can’t have them anyways, or just making the event limited items available and priced higher then other items. I won’t act like I don’t play the game every day and don’t enjoy playing it, me and my wife both play and we both enjoy it. However we both have the same gripe.

This game is so cute. I downloaded it because a coworker of mine mentioned it and I knew it would be right up my alley. No surprise, it was. What was a surprise was the amount of creativity, fun, thoughtfulness and work put into this game which is shown through the art style, cute animations, entertaining easy gameplay and the option to watch ads for everything. I even love the options to pay real money for things that are helpful but not necessary to enjoy the game. Very lovely, very nice.

The only thing that I would like to see different in this game, (literally the sole reason why I decided to write this review), is the cats that have the job of making the soup, juice, and stir fry, (and maybe something else that I didn’t get to yet) can have a break just like all the other cats. Of course this isn’t detrimental but I think it’ll be fair for these cuties to have all the cats be able to use the relax stations somehow. They all work so hard 🥹 they deserve it. That’s all.

CatsSoup is amazing! it's so cute, i love watching my little hardworking kittens whizz around and work together to create food! and watching them take little breaks under the tree or bouncing on the trampoline is just amazing! i even got my boyfriend to play the game and he loves it too! it really is so much fun to play and to watch! my only few recommendations would be to make an option for the "double working time" to last longer. like instead of 5 minutes maybe 10 or 15 or even 30 minutes. even if i have to pay a little to upgrade to that i would do it immediately. also, i think the wait time for fishing bait should be a lot shorter, or there should be different ways for us to get fish, like buying it with our earned coins, or watching we 3 videos and get all 5 baits replaced right then so we could get more fish to feed the cats. right now i have 8 cats and am getting 5 fish to feed them, and then if i waited for all the bait to be refilled it would take 10 hours and i think that’s a little ridiculous. especially since most fish don’t even fill one heart for a cat and the cats have like 10 hearts. And please add mini games too so we can do some things to keep ourselves occupied while we wait for the cats! maybe a fishing mini game as a way to get more fish! But other than these few suggestions that I hope are added soon, i love this game and please keep up the good work!

A peaceful, calming and adorable game that’s perfect for kicking back and relaxing. It was recommend to me by a good friend of mine and haven’t regretted it since. I’ve also learned more about cat breeds than ever. The best part is that you can play the whole game and level up without adds! If you want to double or unlock extra rewards you can watch a 30 second add to collect it. A bonus is that the game demos work and there aren’t inappropriate adds. Although there are a few things that would be great to add or need to be fixed.

1. It’s hard to do the free gem opportunities. I’ve spent 10-15 minutes doing a survey or spinning a wheel but it doesn’t let me know that my gems are in my mailbox. It doesn’t show that I did the activity at all.
2. It’s difficult to get furniture coins. Once the furniture shop is unlocked it’s easy to spend the coins since they’ve just piled up. But after that the only way to get them (30 or 100 of them) is every once is a while in the claw machine, and maybe in the calendar gifts.
3. Not getting furniture previews in the store. I love the feature that once your able to afford the piece of furniture in the Cat Tower it’ll give you a preview when clicked on, could that feature also be implemented in the furniture store? Sometimes it’s hard to tell what the wallpaper or flooring looks like and it’s not until you get it and don’t like it, it’s too late.

This game is just AMAZING! It’s soooo relaxing! It’s so fun that I’ve been playing this game every single day ever since I downloaded it! The outfits and the cats are just to DIE for and the animations are absolutely adorable! But there is one problem… it’s just that do the cat’s cooking things have to be so expensive when you basically just downloaded the game?! Like seriously! To get a second corn stand thing where the cats grind corn is 2000 BILLION GOLDS!!! I’ve been for 5 DAYS and still don’t have enough gold! I wouldn’t be mad if you made the harvesting honey and the shredding pumpkins stand and the other special stuff that expensive. But corn? And the fact it’s so EARLY on in the game and it’s that expensive? Not great for the people who just downloaded the game and were expecting a fun and relaxing experience… But other than that I love everything about it! The outfits the cat skins, the animations, and the way the cats meow when I tap them is so cute! And I’m writing this during the rainbow shorthair event and I got the cat and I think it’s made like this game more. Oh and one last thing… this game is so fun that I keep playing it for long periods of time and so I think my brain is fried. 🐈❤️❤️❤️

I love cats and I love soup. This game is perfect for me! The art is so well done! I love just watching the little cats do their animations. And the animation sounds are so soothing and calming. Perfect ASMR.
Yes there are ads, but you get to choose whether to watch them or not, they don’t automatically pop up. And for me, it’s worth the watch for progression. The only thing I wasn’t too big on was that some of the station animations are a bit repetitive, especially when we have 3 of the same stations. A greater variety would benefit the game. I do see that some of the later stations are a bit different in animation and I love that variety. Even if it’s something little as the swing in the knife before chopping lotus goes a long way when you have 3 other chopping type stations.
Something else I’d wish developers could add is an option to flip which way the station is facing. That gives us more decorative freedom.
Lastly, I wish that developers could bring back the 7 days of gifts or have it on rotation from time to time because when I first gotten the game, i didn’t know how much I want to invest in it and did not buy the first two 7 days of gifts. I wish that option can become available again so I can make that purchase now that I think that I’ll play this game enough for the investment.

First of all, I LOVE cats (and irl soup)! I’ve always wanted one as a child, but sadly, I was highly allergic, so I wanted a game with cute cats so I wasn’t sad about not owning at least one cat. This game has perfect ASMR, which is really relaxing for me and calms me down, and there are so many activities to do, including monthly games, like bingo, or a monopoly-like game that you can complete for limited time prizes! Here are some notes, though. There should be some more breeds of cats to collect, because I personally like to have a wide variety of breeds that are separate, and it’s been hard to find and collect more cats for my litter. I always sacrifice all of my observatory tickets just to change the appearance of my cats, and it’s taken a toll on me. Another thing I wanted to address is the high gold objectives that I have to complete, like getting from, for example, coin AD to AQ. I know it’s not in a specific time range, but it’s always my highest priority to get new cats, recipes, and different side missions, like the capsule machine and fishing pole. Overall, this game is pretty cool! I would suggest it to everyone who’s into idle games and soothing asmr :)

I’m giving this a second review with the same 5 star rating. Spent real life money on this game for years now and it’s not a gaming app the disappoints. My 5 year old son still is playing this game and helping me reach daily achievements! But I just wanted to advocate and compliment the makers of CatsSoup more. I haven’t found an app that I’m fond of like this since I was 18 and I’m now 26. This game basically reminds me to check my phone at this point because I have no use for this mobile device other than. The most recent update compared to this review has made an amazing difference! To the owner, your app is doing amazing! I’ll continue to be the everyday average pedestrian. a supporter, your supporter! Keep it up! I’m jealous of the success at this point, all I can do is support! <3 if there was anything in the slightest form that made me want to delete CatsSoup as a whole, it would’ve been because of how hard it is to find/earn a “friend” for kitties. The more recent update that allows an option for a week long ad skip purchase being only 99¢ really is what helped. It made the long journey feel more rewarding.

So I went to my friends house in China a few days ago, I watched her play this cat game cause I didn’t bring my iPad.😞I was so intrigued cause the cats were so cute! (Reminder the game was in Chinese) I didn’t see the name of the game so I said: what’s the name of the game?🧐 She replied “Cats and Soup” I was so excited cause I wanted to download it and try it out. I don’t regret it. The ads are optional and the cats are too cute.😍 But I have one thing that kind of annoyed me and some ideas: ~Problems~ 1. It gets boring but not that often😒 2. Duplicate cats don’t make me happy🙃 3. Red dots which I can’t get rid off😢 ~Ideas~ 1. Mini games like cook your own soup where you select ingredients and make your very own soup! 2. Long hair cats 3. More eye colors! (Like multicolored?)🥰 4. More markings:D ~Mini game ideas~ Drink maker: A cute little drink bar where you make any drink like select a cup, add flavor and everything Make your own cat (you have to pay gems) 💎 A little character creator where you add markings , color, and a body type I hope at least some of these idea come into the game, thanks! i never make reviews but as a non mobile game player i downloaded this months back and genuinely have not stopped playing i have 23 cats and i honestly don’t even play that much. It’s so cute and i love the functions of the game it’s very easy to catch on to especially because it makes you unlock the different facilities over time so you’re not overwhelmed by all the actions the game actually has. I love all of the little details and the ability to decorate, customize and name the cats, one of my favorite features is that you can change the scenery and the lamps it’s a really cute touch. Overall this is just a super positive review for the creators i love your game. My only simple suggestion is to take away the cat tower, as much as i love the concept i get lost in all the development of the forest that i often forget it even exists and rarely decorate it, also the icon for it on the game looks similar to the observatory door and i often get them mixed up click on the tower when trying to get to the observatory. Anyways if you read this whole thing you’re a G, and get the game it’ll have you twiddling your toes getting exited abt the new breed of cat to unlock and don’t even get me started on the baby kitty that goes on adventures, so cute.

The game is honest solid fun, with unique visuals and a fresh gameplay feel that few mobile building games have. I knew this game was going to be good when I saw the appstore rating, and I'm here to confirm it is indeed worthy of 4.9 stars. The performance is flawless on my terrible phone, the graphics are unique with lots of animation and life filling your screen without it being overwhelming to look at. This game gives a nice vibe, genuinely a relaxing and addictive game to play whether you're just bored, stressed or just need to pass time. Like every other free game, Cats & Soup utilizes advertisements to gain revenue from their players, however unlike most games the ads here are completely optional. Watching ads to gain rewards in-game absolutely does NOT feel required or forced to make progress, which is refreshing. For the most part, this game doesn't feel like a waiting game either, which is often the case with building games. The developers of this project are clearly passionate about it, and I'm sure CatsSoup has many more updates and content to come. I'm excited to see the future of this game, it's an absolute gem and I'm glad I discovered it. Highly recommended.

P.S. As far as I'm aware, this game is only on mobile. I'd LOVE to see a PC version sometime in the future.

I absolutely ADORE this game. The art style is so cute, the animations are smooth and lifelike, it’s very calming, and I love it! I’m completely addicted to this game and play it every day. I think the counting system that you did for the money and energy was very interesting and unique, and actually quite smart. You completely deserve your 4.9 star rating. That might be the best rating I’ve ever seen. The one thing I’d change, is the ads. I’m not at all saying to make less, but some of them are very long. You have to watch a lot of ads to get rewards, which I think is completely fair, but some will be a thirty second video with a twenty second demo that you can only interact with a few times. I’m not sure how much control you have over that, but if you can, could you change it? Also, just a suggestion, maybe you could add a photo album or something. That way we can see our photos! Again, amazing game, those are pretty much my only complaints. Love your work! ❤️

I work about 50 hours a week and after my shifts i truly look forward to coming home to relax by playing this game. I’ve only been playing for about a month and i’m already up to ce! Lol But anyways, this game is the best idle game out there, period. The best thing about this game is it gives you SO many ways to reach goals without spending money, like the jar fairy for example. (Even though i’ve definitely dropped at least $50 on it by now lol). It’s so addicting that I was able to get my boyfriend addicted to it too! Another amazing thing about this game is the multiple events and rewards that you can get just by getting on daily. Dear Developer, My honest opinion, this game deserves more praise. You guys are very generous. All I want to suggest is that you continue to add more things. Continue to add more cats, fish types, clothes and equippable friends because i’ve almost collected them all! As long as i never have to stop collecting, I’ll never stop playing and giving you the money you guys deserve for this amazing game <3

Amazing and adorable game! I love to play this٫ so many cute cats to earn and many different jobs displayed for them. So easy to get addicted to it. I have one problem though٫ although it's awesome. I think the prices for some things are to much. It'll take me days to even earn 2000c for a place to make corn. As soon as you buy it your back to 0 coins. You have to start all over again but this time the prices are upgraded. At this point it's 100d which takes longer to earn than 2000c 😅. I just think it would be more enjoyable if you could lower the prices to upgrade your cat village faster. They give you many awards and ads to watch if you want more coins٫ but it still takes a while. Speaking of! I do like how it lets me choose to watch an ad for money or not. I like that better than one popping up against my will. Even though that's good I'm getting a little tired of watching countless ads just to earn a slight bit of coins for a huge price I'm trying to get to for something. 😅 Other than that it's an amazing game!! So fun!

I started a couple days ago, and I am in love! It’s very calming and fun! I have a couple of cons, however. I know this is a common one, but having to earn 300 gems to open the chest is hard and kinda annoying. Another thing is that I think we should be able to get more fish, and we don’t have to wait an hour. Other than that, I completely recommend it. I also love how you don’t have to use 500 gems in the observatory. You can use tickets or gold too. A lot of people don’t really like how you have to wait for the soup or juice to finish. I think it’s fun getting to watch them wait and stir and chop, etc. I also like how they refer to us as “hoomans”. And how they can’t spell properly. It adds to the charm. Even when the developers write back to someone complaining or something, the cats are the ones talking. And I LOVE how you get to choose whether or not you want to watch an ad. I’m trying not to spoil any of the things you’ll get if someone reading this hasn’t played yet. Overall, it’s super cute, fun, calm, and pretty funny. It definitely deserves 4.9 as it’s rating.

I know the title is dramatic. But i’m serious. If I never got an ad on tiktok while i was mindlessly scrolling I don’t know if I would’ve made it out of the lowest points of my life as nicely as i did. The game made me feel productive. All I wanted to do at this point in life was hide away on my phone but we all know the icky feeling that comes with doing that via social media. I didn’t mind the ads it helped me also put my phone down. I could play this game with a movie on and it’s the great stimulant combo that kept me from thinking myself into a terrible depression.
I don’t play as much anymore since I’m in a better spot in life, but I look back fondly at my times playing this. It made me laugh and feel joy in a place where I thought those emotions were nonexistent to me anymore. Silly little cats with their silly little chores and upgrades. The silly little music. It was nice. It embodied peace. My favorite ads are the ones that you have to watch but you’re offline so they’re specifically Cats & Soup ads.
I’m glad I found this game. I think it’ll stay offloaded on my home screen forever just so I’ll never forget it.

The newest update did a lot of things I’d secretly been wishing for. It toned down the number of ads that need to be watched to do dailies, reduced daily tasks in general (I’d been having trouble keeping up with them some days, particularly the camera and balloon tasks which the RNG sometimes refusing to spawn those), they replaced the disappointing furniture coin prizes on the event game board with more event points and it seems almost like the observatory RNG has been tweaked to make it a bit more likely to get the most recent color. Plus with lower ad requirements for the dailies I have more ad skip tickets to put towards the observatory daily ad draws. Yes you can buy ad skip tickets, my one remaining complaint is they are rather expensive, especially since you have to buy them from smallest to infinite instead of just skipping to infinite. Then again buying the 5 and 10 skip tickets is usually enough with the free ad skips you can earn (by watching sooo many ads). Yeah this game’s one flaw is it can be massively ad heavy, although at least it doesn’t force you to watch random ads, all the ads here are for various in game currencies.

I’ve been playing this game for a year and I love it. I’ve played Hayday (a idle/relaxing farming game) for almost ten years and then I saw CatsSoup on tiktok and immediately downloaded it and told my friends. It’s repetitive, but very cute, and I think it’s a great game who want reliable tasks to do everyday.
My only issue with CatsSoup is that:
1. They’ve started making it harder to win all the rewards in the events for free. They upped the shell/token prices so if you want to win everything you’ll have to drop some money into it, but it’s not a crazy difference.
2. It sometimes takes months for them to add a new update. I played for about 8 months without that issue because I was still trying to earn everything they’d already released, but now that I’ve caught up, I only see a new update when the seasons change and that’s to few to be engaging. Yeah I like playing the events (even though the holiday events come out after the holiday lol I find that weird), but I only get a new cat or building when they update. That’s happened twice this year… twice in three months when previously I was getting a new cat every 2 weeks.
All in all it’s still a fun game and you should play. You won’t experience this problem for the first year you play as long as you play without spending a ton of money like I have, otherwise I’m you might run into it sooner.

This is such a cute and relaxing game. I love playing it right before bed, it helps me wind down. If there was one suggestion i had to make ever, its that it gets very difficult leveling up and expanding when you dont earn a whole lot. The natural sell price of things and the cost to add on are vastly different and you have to save for so long. Like an entire 24 hours worth of sitting and watching your cats do stuff because youre too broke to expand. There are other things you can do in the mean time though, so i cant wholly complain. Theres so much to do, and watch. The only other thing i would have to say, which isnt really the developers fault, is that it drains my phone battery when open and running. Just a thing to keep in mind when playing. Otherwise this game is so cute. The animations, the cut scenes, the frog, the cute decor and customizations. Its so much fun! Happy playing everyone! Ps: i love that you can name your cats! Edit:after playing for a while, ive learned that you can earn coins faster but you first have to spend a lot seriously upgrading your stuff. Like, save some and just hold the upgrade button. So dont forget to upgrade your stuff!

I'm excited to see the future of this game, it's an absolute gem and I'm glad I discovered it. Highly recommended.

P.S. As far as I'm aware, this game is only on mobile. I'd LOVE to see a PC version sometime in the future.

I got recommended this game by a classmate about a month ago. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I got hooked very fast. It has so much detail, and the art style is super cute! All ads are optional, which is a really nice and refreshing difference from most mobile games. You can go through the entire game and not watch a single ad. I like how the game gives you suggestions on what structures to upgrade, because if not I would probably forget to upgrade them lol. I think my favorite thing is that you can name and dress up your cats however you like. The accessories are all really cute, and most have a bonus effect. I do have a few suggestions though. First, and I’ve seen a few other reviews mention this, adding a few mini games to play while you’re waiting for your cats to make soup would help pass some time when the game gets slow. Second, the way you draw for accessories can get frustrating. It’s a bit difficult to get gems, so 300 gems is a lot for a single chest draw. And sometimes you won’t even draw enough points to fill the bar and get the accessory. Third, and this is a very small one, I think adding a random name generator would be nice, since I sometimes have trouble coming up with names for my cats. Other than these little nitpicks, I’ve really been enjoying this game and I totally recommend it!

I’ve played a lot of idle games in the past, but this one is by far the best and the one I’ve stuck with the longest. I’ve played since it first got launched, and it’s great seeing how far the game has gone. The aesthetic is great, gameplay is good, events and rewards are also pretty good. In the end, this game has got me coming back to play almost every day. However, there is one thing I would like to suggest, and that’s the gem situation. Gems are pretty easy to get without spending money, and you can easily get a few thousand over a few weeks. However, as of right now, the only thing you can buy with gems are cat rerolls. Personally , I don’t reroll my cats that much so I don’t spend my gems. It’d be great if the developers added a shop where you could buy event limited clothes furniture and pets with gems. At the time of writing this review, the Season Pass feature just got added. It would also be great if the pass could be purchased with gems and within the duration of the season, you could earn those gems back as rewards to have enough for the next season. I think that would keep players coming back so they can earn all the rewards from the pass. Overall, great game and definitely worth a play

I could go on and on about how the cats are adorable and how you can name your carrot cutter a “carrot cutting cutie” but I also like how it comes up with solutions to problems other games like this have. For example, when you have no internet, you can still watch ads of the games in game shop stuff you can buy and get the boost, it also keeps you actively playing so you are not bored while playing by making it so that if you don’t bring out the orders in time the item goes on sale (drops in price) and gets sold, I also love how when you choose what music you want playing in the background after a song ends it moves on to the next.

I also find it funny the guy that gives you tickets every 24 hours (a long time) is a sloth, just the small joke that you are getting a ticket because the guy working there is very slow is priceless.

Overall- the game is simple yet beautiful. Artwork, sound design, and music all flows so well together. The game is more satisfying than anything. Gratification from pop ups and how easy it is to obtain in game monies makes it feel less ‘grindy’
The art style and the focus on cats is really what got my attention. Super cute and entertaining.
One sour thing about it though are the ads. W every mobile game comes ads, most being somewhat tolerable and optional, however here- it makes it close to mandatory to view ads in order to feel any type of progression. ***Game play time is nearly less than if not equal to ad time. ***
I’ve gotten used to how often it calls for and nearly steered me away from continuing to play, but after a few days you get used to it. Doesn’t make it any better, but you get used to it. Again, the art style, sound design, and ofcourse the cute cats doing little duties has kept me wanting more.

i absolutely adore this game. ive been playing it nonstop for the past two weeks and i have yet to get even a little bored of it. i think it’s absolutely adorable, the animation is charming, and i don’t feel crowded by ads or like im being pressured to spend actual money. one time it did randomly reset my progress which was disheartening, but deleting and redownloading if CatsSoup fixed the issue:) i am totally enthralled with the task of collecting all of the cats, and even once i have all of them, i want to max out my facilities and push my little forest oasis to be the best it can be! i have some minor suggestions, but take my opinion with a grain of salt:) - please rename the indian tent, it’s kind of an offensive stereotype about native americans. maybe call it the relaxation tent/teepee/campground/just tent? -maybe make the relaxation fixtures slightly easier to get than the cooking ones? i feel more motivated to play longer and save money when getting a cooking facility because i know it comes with a new cat, but i get discouraged saving for days for a relaxation facility sometimes. -if you made the fish stack in storage, it would be easier to know how many fish you have and it would be more organized -i find it hard to earn the furniture coins, maybe put more in the claw machine? that’s all! i love this game so much and see myself playing it for a long time :) ❤️❤️❤️

The progress that you make is quick enough that you are entertained, but not so fast that you don’t get any gameplay! Free to play, and you could totally play forever without spending any money. The amount of ads is not obnoxious, and you get to any watch ads if you choose to. The graphics are ADORABLE, and getting to name your cats is an A+. I named all mine after celebrities. You also get to dress them in cute outfits, decorate their rooms, and feed them! They run around and deliver ingredients, and that is fun. If you get the wings accessories, they fly over! I have been playing for a couple months now, I have 20 cats, and there is still no sign of gameplay slowing down. There is just one thing. In the most recent update, the Devs added “Cats Favorite Games”, however, when I click on it, it opens up an empty box. Not sure how to fix that, I want to check out the mini games. Hopefully I can get Dev feedback on that soon!

This game is so fun and really addicting! It’s easy to get coins and all the little details are awesome. There’s almost no ads and they don’t advertise paid options. There are 3 forms of currency. Coins which is the main form of buying things, energy which can be used to level up soup recipes, and gems/diamonds which can be used for extra things. There are also bolts and with bolts you can buy different background music if you have a specific cat rest stop. The cats are ADORABLE. It’s so fun to watch them do things humans would normally do. I love the other things you can put in your forest too-like cute rest places and functional things that give you money. I absolutely love dressing up my cats and decorating their rooms! Naming your cats is probably my favorite part. This game is a must have. I can’t think of anything bad about this game. If you don’t like perfection then I guess it’s not for you. I HIGHLY recommend this game. It’s my favorite app!!!

I love this little time waster, it’s so cute and fun. I’ve had the game for almost a full year now and I fell in love with one of the Turkish Angora kitties who I lovingly nicknamed “Turkey”, he gets to wear a brown vest, straw hat, and some cute little heart shades, he loves to take his breaks reading in the little rocking chair and I love the animation of it all so much, I got my little Turkey rocking in his chair tattooed right on my forearm. I love how you can personalize the cats, make them your babies, I love how much care was obviously put into this game and it’s art and how it runs. It’s such a smooth game for being just a phone app, I’m not sure if this is because I maybe bought something way back when first getting the game, but I also never run into an ad.
And I love when people compliment the artstyle of my Turkey tattoo (my artist did his best to perfectly match the style of in the game, my tattoo is literally a screenshot), cause then I get to turn more people onto Cats&Soup 💞✨

I love the game I have no regrets downloading the game but there is one thing that I recommend. So when you start the game you just put your stuff down , buy stuff, and get all your food but then you have to wait for your cat to be done with its cooking so you can go ahead and sell it .This event usually takes awhile , so I have to get off my phone and go do something else and wait for it to be done . So I recommend some mini games to play while we wait for the cats cooking to be done. I love so many things about this game except for the waiting but the rest is just amazing I love how you can choose which songs you want , if you want it high note , say you have alought of energy or low note , say you just want to keep it chill and relaxing I love that. Really the only thing I don’t like about this game is waiting I want to get to my game and have fun and relax not sit around and wait for my cats. Overall this game is amazing!!!!!

There is so much detail in this game that I can’t believe it’s free. You can tell the developers really took their time to create something not just fun, but also easy to use. And ALL ads are OPTIONAL, I love that! You can play this entire game without watching a single ad. The ads are for boosts and nothing more. Smart move because I actually find myself watching MORE ads than in other games simply because I was given the choice. And if you don’t want to watch any ads, don’t worry, you’ll still get plenty of coins. This game gives you SO many opportunities to receive free coins and bonuses it’s crazy. Hot air balloon, cat gifts, daily goals, claw machine, the dishes themselves! Also, you’ll receive fast responses from support which I heavily appreciate. And I’m not even going on about how absolutely adorable this game is or how fun it is to play! The cat outfits, the details, the aesthetics, the music and sounds, I love it. This is honestly the best game I’ve ever downloaded.

I was recommended this game about 7 months ago by my best friend, and I was addicted immediately. I wasn’t expecting to spend almost all of my time getting new cats, and new stations. One of my favorite things is the art style used for this game, it’s very cute. One of the best things about this game is how you don’t get random ads every five minutes, since they’re optional. I really love the new cat tower update, because it’s fun to decorate their rooms. The only thing I don’t really like about this game is how sometimes the amount of money I need for the next stations is a lot more than the amount I have, but sometimes it’s nice to just watch my cats work. The variety of cats you can get are very nice, I’m always excited to get a new cat. I do have one request, (if this even gets read) but would y’all be able to add a gray tabby to the game? such cute art style, animations, and overall concept! i never knew i would find such joy in employing cats to make soups and juice. watching them run around doing work and then rest gives me such ease. i also LOVE how customizable everything is!! this makes my kitties and my forest so special to me! making money is a bit slow at times so you have to work hard even though its more of an idle game. i think it would benefit to make money faster so it wouldn't feel slow a lot of times(rather then sitting and waiting) i also wish there wasn't as many ads; this makes me annoyed sometimes but the ads are mainly optional. I ALSO WISH AND PRAY THAT there is an easier way to acquire the clothes and furniture other then the chests because i want so badly to dress and spoil all my kitties but its hard to acquire the accessories and etc:(( LAST SUGGESTION: i wish itd tell us how much money is needed before the next wave ex. I love this game a lot! It’s so calming and I love the animations. The cats are so cute and there is so many building options! I am really happy I downloaded this I have no regrets! This is not really considered a regret because every game has at least one thing most people don’t like.. I just don’t like the fact the when you first downloaded it you have a lot to do, so you are very busy having fun..But then you have to wait for your cats to make the soup, shred the carrots and lettuce, and even wait for them to stop jumping on the trampoline. Now that’s fine but I am trying to say that I wish there were more activities to do then just wait for your cats. If you don’t know what to add here are some things that I recommend: fun games you can play while you’re waiting for your cats to finish making soup, so after you’re done playing fun games you can get a lot of coins from your cats. That’s all I recommend for now I might have more ideas later, nor I am still thinking. But hopefully you add this of course you do not have to, but I would love some cute mini games you could play while your cats can work! Bye! 💞

So when I got the game, it was pretty fun. Then I got the BABY. I can’t feed him! It makes me SO UNCOMFORTABLE that I can’t give the baby fish! And I wish I could have MULTIPLE babies. There should also be more costumes for the cats, including the baby! And there should be more things to do. Maybe there could be another person, not AI, but somebody else who plays this game. You could help them out, and they would help YOU out! Also, if you’re bored, there should be a place to design a cat! You could choose its eyes, ears, and color, and it would be awesome! But that wouldn’t be for contests or anything.I also have one more suggestion for the baby. I think that the maximum amount of babies should be three. And you should be able to have TWINS. Anyway, I also think that you should be able to feed the little friends that follow you. I have the Party Crocodile, and I wanna name him and feed him! Also, could the friends have mini work, and a separate room from their owner??? The mini work could be, like… Maybe my Crocodile could cook mini food! All of the buddies would cook, too! Also, on the build thing with all the things to build, there could be “Mini Cooking”! PLS PLS PLS!!!!!!!!!!!!?
