I was very happy when I saw this game and wanted to give it a try since I camp full time!
Started off liking it. Slowly building and saving money to add on. I finished my first campsite with “almost” 5 stars. Nothing left to do for that one or add on. So not sure why I did not fulfill my 5th star.
You collect diamonds as you play, but never use them. Not sure what they are good for.
I started my second campground. Still not really doing anything. Make money and add to what they want you to have. Would be so much better if we had the opinion to add what we want. Like more RV sites and less fun sports that really don’t get used.
I hope the developers come out with a better update and better planning.

I’ve been trying to contact the developer with no response. There has STILL been no update. The next level is not available and everything is max upgraded. Even all the real-money purchases. Progress stops just short of getting 5 stars locking you out of the next level. They claimed in another review reply to be releasing additional levels in Sept. still nothing.

I got the game, advanced through having fun. Now everything is fully upgraded and I can’t move on to level 2. It will not give me the 5th star. There are 2 additional levels in the gameplay map. The second one says “5 stars to unlock” and the third one says “coming soon.” I have everything maxed! STILL only 4 stars, and no ability to get more! I even purchased everything in the store to see if it were an underhanded way to get money. Nope, STILL won’t unlock!!!!! Plus, there is no way to reach the developer in the game! I want my money back!!!!
It looks like it’s a really fun game but it’s not worth the hassle.
Twice when it was walking me through the set up it suggested I look around the campground and explore. But the instant I started to it popped up a new task to do on the screen so I wasn’t allowed to look around. The game also wants you to spend a ridiculous $9.99 for a ad free experience. If you don’t spend the $10 then you literally have to deal with 2 different video ads popping up every 3 to 5 minutes. As I said, it looks like it could be a really fun game but I’m not willing to spend $10 or deal with all the frequent pop-up ads to find out. It was on my phone less than 15 minutes when I decided to delete it.
Had to pay $10 to get the guy who stops the apps but now I have a challenge that is a 9 challenge set and I have 8. The 9th one is getting 1000 orders from your food section. I have them all upgraded to 200 but no one comes at night and no one comes during the day. How am I supposed to make it past 480 customers if no one else will purchase from there? I’m so far along I have the 2nd campground open with the volcano and everything but your money doesn’t transfer either so you have to wait days to open each thing much less be able to upgrade them... loved it until now....
Everything can be completed really quickly except for the things you buy with hearts. So you have all this money building up and nothing to do with any of it, and the hearts are slow to build on a few things. Also you can't transfer currency at all between islands so once you complete an island there's nothing to do with all the money and hearts it's making. It's not really interactive at all; once you complete stuff there's really nothing to do with it. You can watch it do the same animations again and again is all. And a lot of things build up really fast so you can miss a lot easily. This gave about a week of gameplay and now there's pretty much nothing to do except wait for enough hearts to complete the last few heart attractions. Then there will really be nothing to do. And I'm always at the top of the leaderboard? That's fake.
I like this game. I’ve been playing for 2 days. I’m thinking about deleting it because it keeps freezing when I watch an ad to get a little extra money from the vip vehicle.. I’ll get all the way through the ad and then it will freeze and not give me the credit for watching the ad. I have an iPhone so I just turned off cellular data for CampingTycoonIdleRVlife and then would turn off WiFi on my phone so that I wouldn’t get constant ads from this game. So the ads aren’t the problem it’s just that I made it to the second map and it’s like the game can’t take it. My phone has enough space on it but CampingTycoonIdleRVlife is lagging and then will freeze on a completely black screen. It’s kinda disappointing, that I’ve made it this far and it seems like it won’t let me go any further without making myself frustrated.
When I got completely done with the first map, I still didn’t have 5 stars, so I updated and my second map won’t let me collect backpacks, my time is stuck on some random time, like 8:69 (?) and it’s just super glitchy. I’ve lost some good backpacks due to not getting them, even if I go to the first map, they’re not showing up. Also, if you purchase the ad free option, you still have to watch ads to get the x2 money option. Doesn’t seem right. Also, your hearts and diamonds don’t carry over between maps.
I enjoyed the game I would’ve loved to kept going, but the drain on memory and battery prevented that. It was so bad that it would crash every time an ad played, and it spilled over into other apps on my iPad. It did not release the memory and the other appsWould end up crashing!
While my iPad is not even half full, and has a great amount of memory, this game when I checked, was using over 60% of the resources… Even when I was not actively playing it. Which tells you how much it was using when being played.
I had no option but to delete it from my system. The developers need to do a massive optimization on the game from basic coding to sprites.
I rarely leave reviews, But I came to leave a review for this game because I play it so much. I really enjoy this game, it passes time when I need something to do. I’ve noticed that whenever I watch Ads for cash or gems I’m starting to not receive my items even when I completed everything. Like for the “INVEST” option you watch all those Ads and then when you finish them all you’re supposed to collect. Well I lately I haven’t been getting most of my Cash Or Gems. It like a rip off and I don’t appreciate that because Time is Money. The time I’m putting into watching those Ads are for nothing anymore and it’s very frustrating because I need that to “INVEST” more into my Camp Site. If it keeps up I may just end up playing less or deleting because this is very unfair. I ONLY watch Ads. I’m not putting REAL cash into a game its not real life, it’s not that serious.
The game is really fun when you start, easy to advance and make money. I love the option to watch ads for more rewards instead of buying it. My main complaint is that I’ve gotten kinda far in the game and now there’s a glitch that it won’t even collect revenue for the free hour while I’m away from CampingTycoonIdleRVlife anymore, making it impossible to make any money and advance things anymore unless I’m watching ads 24/7. I’ll sadly probably delete it soon as it’s starting to bore me having to sit and watch videos just to advance anything a couple levels.
I like that you can play the game without a ton of forced ads. It’s very satisfying to upgrade everything. Here are the annoyances, but keep in mind, it hasn’t stopped me from enjoying the game:
1. the leaderboards seem rigged, hear me out. There are two players that are ALWAYS neck and neck with me. I mean, any time of day or night that I log in, somehow they are playing and keeping up with me? When I don’t play they don’t play? That doesn’t make sense for two players supposedly from random places around the world. One is called ANNA from the USA, the other is ….!….!… from Korea, it’s too odd for it to be real. Anyone else running into this? lol
2. There’s random forced ads, not rewarded ads, but like, hey, let’s punish you for playing the game ads. I’ll watch like 6 of those ads to get rewards and then bam, another ad comes up and I’m like, geez, didn’t I watch enough already? I just quit CampingTycoonIdleRVlife and reload anytime that happens cuz just no.
3. Everything is done too slow with no way to skip ahead. Opening a bunch of chests? Done one at a time with a slow animation for each item. Skipping 60 mins with gems? The more money you get, the longer it’ll take since the counter goes from 0 to whatever in the slowest way possible. Got one of the postcards? Well ugh, cuz the ranger animation is gonna take a whole minute.
This game is pretty good. Good style, solid gameplay, but there are definitely issues. 1. Things are far to expensive. The only way to upgrade a place to complete a quest is to either wait for an hour, or watch ads for the investor. 2. Sound switch does nothing. Even with it switched off, sound continues to play after CampingTycoonIdleRVlife is relaunched. 3. Needs balance. The spend to income ratio is very unfair. You make like 1/3 of the money you spend. All in all, good start, but needs improvement.
This game is like many others but you still get to experience a different type of game the “RV Life” but for someone who likes to support said apps by buying the 9.99 ads remover, it should still have provided everything that requires an ad. You still gotta watch videos for money boosts and the quest finished hand that gives you diamonds, I feel that if you buy the ads remover everything relating to an ad should be included and still not be forced to watch ads as to why I removed one start but this is just my take on it, still enjoying the game nonetheless.
I play a lot of these idle tycoon games. Hotel is prob my favorite. I’m enjoying this one so far. My wish list would be more sound. There isn’t even any music :( would love when I am hovering over a camp to have some kind of sound. I also wish you could upgrade minor stuff like in hotel. It’s cool having stuff look different as you upgrade certain stuff. For example the beds are different colors, bathroom tubs different models. Also wanted to add, I REALLY wish there were more people walking around. My camp feels so empty even at max stars
I’ve been playing this game for a little while and have enjoyed it so far…until today, when CampingTycoonIdleRVlife decided to freeze up and refuse to load altogether. So I ended up having to delete it and reinstall, but as luck would have it, I LOST ALL MY PROGRESS in the game…they made me start all the way over because apparently there isn’t an option to load previously saved games…this is crazy to me because as long as I’m signed in w the same Apple ID, the progress for any game I play should be there and I should be able to pick up where I left off
I like this game. It’s a great idle and even has reasonably priced packages for a casual player like me. Wish i could justify the latte purchase but i don’t trust I’ll get my purchase. Example: I earn +40 diamonds but it doesn’t change my stock to +40 at all. Except when opening up new “lands” that one works. I open a Chest with diamonds or watching ads, but as soon as it pulls up gold or silver chest. It doesn’t let me click. I exit and reload game hoping to try again and the chest is gone. I’ve had a gold and silver chest count as “used” with no changes to my stock of booster items. I’ll still play until i get super frustrated.
TL;DR: Good game but don’t get too emotionally invested. If they fix it, it’s a great game with good balance.
I used to love this game at the very beginning, but once you upgrade more and more it gets so expensive just to upgrade. It takes so long just to upgrade the campsite and or other things on the game. Idk I used to love it but they make it harder to do it, you kinda don’t have anything to do so you just stop playing. It’s like 900 million just to upgrade one level up on the campsite and it’s crazy how much it goes up, then all my money is gone. This is just my opinion they should’ve added more things, more parking spaces… just more activities to go on and on. Instead of making it more difficult because once you stop playing because you have to wait to make profit you get bored and forget about the game :(
Super fun but when you become more advanced in the levels, game play slows down tremendously. You can only upgrade something one or two times before you have to wait for more money.
I paid the $9.99 for no ads and don’t t regret that at all. You get every boost and doubler that exists without having to watch videos.
It just becomes extremely boring to login and only be able to play for like 30 seconds.

There are a lot of aspects to this game to be appreciated and ads typically give you enough to upgrade several items not just one. Additionally the ads are not overbearing. Tons and tons to upgrade, details are lovely 10/10 perfect if you’re just looking for a game that is casual yet will keep you captivated when you are playing.
