GOES did me a solid when I recently rolled my ankle while out. Within two days my ankle was feeling extremely painful, though only under certain conditions. Using GOES I was able to get an understanding of what I most likely had (mild sprain) and some tips on how to treat it since I was able to walk and stand on it normally. Really great companion to have when you’re out and can’t necessarily get to anyone quickly!

It’s never been so easy to be prepared. There’s no excuse when there is an app like this app! No matter what sort of outdoor excursion I’m embarking on this app makes me confident that I can address unforeseen scenarios in the most educated way possible. I hope experienced, but even more so inexperienced, outdoors people use GOES to build new confidence and connection with the wilderness!

So great to have this information for taking my kids out in all their activities. Not just peace of mind, but actionable information when situations happen. And all available off line. Brilliant!

Incredible to see the inner workings of wilderness medicine doctors’ minds technologically transformed into an app. And making it all accessible when off the grid. Unbelievable! I’ve been practicing wilderness medicine for 20 years and have never seen a resource like this. Get this app in your pocket.

I live in the woods on the McKenzie River, and hike and white water drift boat several days a week. My vehicle is stocked with a first aid kit and a first aid manual. There are times when it is not practical to carry either on the water or on the trail. GOES provides a portable and authoritative level of medical safety for anytime, any place.

I love hiking with my friends and family when we go on trips to new places. this app always helps put my anxious thoughts at ease about exploring a new place. Knowing that I have knowledge at my fingertips to navigate my adventures has been invaluable. Very grateful for this app.

Sometimes you don't know how much you need something. Until you do.

I was working in my garage when a fall from a step ladder caused my shoulder to dislocate (an injury I have sadly endured a couple of times before).

Fortunately, my wife had the this app app on her phone and was able to pull up the dislocated shoulder section. There were step-by-step instructions that were easy to understand and allowed me to deal with the situation myself, preventing a trip to the emergeny room! A dislocation in particular can get very painful and tricky to handle when it's not dealt with right away.

Super grateful for GOES and service to help get me out of a precarious situation quickly.

A couple years ago I cut open my leg pretty bad while backcountry skiing in the tetons. The experience made me realize that despite having WFR and avi certification I had no idea how to deal with emergencies. Having this app gives me the comfort of knowing that the next time something like that happens I’ll have the medical knowledge to know how to respond on hand and I wont be reliant on remembering details from a course I took 5 years ago

It’s quite amazing having an app give you so much peace of mind. I’m not a doctor, I’m not even first aid qualified but the amount of easily digestible knowledge and life saving direction in-built into GOES is almost mind boggling. The fact that all of this is stored offline is what makes GOES like nothing else on the market. Get GOES! It might just save your life.

Used this app to gauge how safe it would be to snowshoe in Desolation Wilderness outside Lake Tahoe, CA. It gave me great insights and what to look out for due to the iciness of the snow.

It’s reassuring knowing I have a medical professional in my pocket in case of emergency. Makes me think twice when it comes to preparing for a hike or backpacking trip.

If you’re an outdoorsy person GOES is great to have. If your career is oriented around the outdoors, GOES is a MUST HAVE.

I got the basic subscription ahead of a road trip / camping trip and it was invaluable to have. Not only did it help with smaller questions, but on the last day my wife had an incident at our campfire resulting in a few 2nd and 3rd degree burns. We used the assess feature to evaluate the severeness, perform first aid / wound care and get her to the nearest hospital. I was so glad I had GOES ready and could rely on it in that situation.

GOES is absolutely brilliant. I feel safer knowing that I have instant access to top medical information and resources when I leave my house. It doesn’t matter what I’m doing, this app has my back. I recently got a terrible spider bite and was able to diagnose and treat it at home, which saved me a lot of time and stress. I love that GOES is applicable wherever you are, even if you’re not on an awesome wilderness adventure.

Having been in a few situations where either I or a friend crashed biking, skiing, or trail running, GOES gives me peace of mind. I’m not a doctor so having the easy to use interface is cool when figuring out what to do. Plus it’s fun to test out my knowledge on things like bites and lightning strikes. The weather outlook is way better than GOES I’ve been checking daily. I plan on downloading it to my kid’s phones.

I was recently on a hike in upstate NY and nearly stepped on a massive rattlesnake that came out of nowhere — as I stopped in my tracks and waited for it to hopefully pass, I went to this app as quickly as possible. Thankfully I was able to figure out all the steps I needed to take in case I was not as lucky. It was so easy to find next steps in this (almost) emergency situation, GOES is absolutely necessary for the outdoor industry!

The this app app is genuinely incredible. I was playing frisbee in the park with my brother the other day and next thing I knew he collapsed on the ground. I used this app to triage his symptoms and it turned out he had heat exhaustion! It showed me exactly what to do to get him better and within 10-15 mins he was back to normal (exactly what this app had advised). Will definitely be bringing this with me everywhere I go from now on!!

Amazing app for all things outdoors. I have a hard time understanding what the weather forecast means for what I need to pack and prepare for out in the field, but with this app I have the best forecast along with what it means in terms of risk factors. Also, by just playing around with the Injury Assessment feature (not that I’ve needed it yet thankfully), I’ve learned so much about wilderness medicine that I feel more prepared for the worst. Thank you!

This in incredible, I had a situation in the backcountry skiing where a friend dislocated his shoulder and if I had this we would have reset it and been in much better shape
