Support is horrible, game is glitchy wish I could give 0 stars

I spent over $30 on this game during soft launch. At global launch everything started going wrong. Things started happening to my account that I didn’t do and when I contacted support, they said that I had deleted these heroes from my game even though I never would do that and hadn’t for the 40+ days I had been playing. They refuse to reimburse the rewards that they gave to everyone. Whatever happened to the customer is always right? Why would I lie? Why would you accuse a paying player of being an idiot? Horrible behavior from a new game that really needs good press. Shame because I really enjoyed it for the time I had played it. Yes, they are money hungry and rewards are scarce and need to be adjusted, but I thought the developers were going in the right direction. If support has anything to do with development, I have 0 faith in the game’s future. Lastly, the game is extremely power hungry. My iPad Pro, which lasts for days of normal use, can’t even last 5 hours from a full charge. That’s incredibly bad for your battery. Not worth the money and not worth my $1000 iPad. Yet another failure.

This game has been out on pc a few months before it came too iOS, So everyone has an advantage over you and you’ve missed a lot of events and the chance to reroll your account before they nerfed it soooo those people also get to start with more legendaries then you do.. The game will give you a free legendary around chapter 2 or so and it will help you a lot for a few days but that legendary will quickly become irrelevant unless you have alot of money to summon duplicate copies of that legendary too ascend them(7 copies to be exact) that’s where the real P2W kicks in and as the champion pool becomes more and more saturated over time this will be impossible for F2P and low spenders. The game has absolutely no marketing team so it’s very unlikely the player base will continue to grow and with there HUGE pay walls and clunky overall gameplay I think it would be best to pass on this one. Gacha games are a dime a dozen and released frequently so I would wait a little longer for a better one
Poorly Made Pay to Play PvE

by PghIgirl
Honestly, if you don’t plan to spend in this game, save your time and don’t even start it. Like all of these kind of games, it initially has a decent amount of rewards but that dries up fast and you are left with two choices: pay to play or spend over 7 minutes to grind one dungeon level with a drop rate that yields one item every 3 battles. That’s 20 minutes for one glyph and you need 80+ of them to upgrade your skills one level. Keep in mind that there is nothing else you can do during this time—even if it had a useable chat function, the incessant fight scene animations close the text box. The legendary hero summons is 1 hero per 100 summons so if you want to progress in the game, you either have to pay or wait weeks…months…to get 100 summons. There is no PvP and no purpose for guilds other than to try and get a few guild coins a day to save to someday have enough to buy something worthwhile in the guild store.
There are pay to win games where you compete against other real people (PvP) and it’s understandable why someone would spend to gain an advantage. It’s beyond me why anybody would spend real money to battle the same bots hundreds of times in a PvE game where there is no competition, no tangible reward and there isn’t even a social aspect to the game.
Great potential, but clearly they stopped caring

I played this game from day one and absolutely loved it! Awesome mechanics, pretty decent gacha rates, and some incredible art work. It got a little stale and then they have a few updates that added some challenging content. Then for some reason out of nowhere they completely screwed up the event point tracking system. The last 4 events have been so insanely off balanced that it’s no longer fun to log in. To see these ridiculous gaps in rewards and after spending 3 days grinding the “end game” content you haven’t even reached the first tier, it’s no longer fun. And it’s not like they are catering to whales, you can’t even buy your way to the top, it’s just like no one is testing how the game works and how to do these events, which are the only way to get materials to better your gear/champs. Really sad to see, because this could have been a great game.
This game is only for whales, if you don’t have any money don’t even bother playing this game… you will be stuck in a loop of getting the same stuff every day and never progressing! I’ve played this game for a month now and I am still not even done with the story mode because I get the same stuff without being able to upgrade… but oh if I spend some money then they will give me exactly what I need… come on just stop it! I gave it 2 stars because it is visually stimulating for a while… but after having to farm the same level for 3 days in a row because I need 10 purple glyphs is absolutely ridiculous! Oh wait I got another terrible character that I’ve never seen before? There’s another 3 days PER GLYPH which mind you there are 6 per set… absolutely insane… by the time the character becomes viable I’m so bored that I don’t care! And again this is coming from someone that is still playing it…
iPad doesn’t update

by Insertootimus
I’m not sure what the problem is on iPad but the game does not update. When you go onto the game it will ask “do you want to update now or update later” If you say update now it reloads and nothing happens. If you say update later when you go to try toDo any activities it will give you an error and say try again later. I’m not sure if this is a development problem or an Apple problem but it’s quite annoying. Other than that the game is pretty simple you don’t need to pay to win, it just takes some time & a little bit of grinding but the auto play feature pretty much does all the work for you. All you need to do is make sure you get properly geared up with your heroes and make sure you do the activities to level up their abilities and such.

The closer game I could compare this to is infinite Magicard. In both good and bad ways. It’s better than that, but it suffers from the same issues when it comes to the store and spending money. *This has to be some of the worst cost-benefit-ratio I’ve ever seen in a game’s store*. The ONLY game I can think of that’s just as bad is infinite magicard. I think they are trying to grab money off people so hard that they are driving even dolphins away(people who spend a decent bit but nowhere near whales).
So yea, it’s a great game. Good animations, skills, art, and the hero’s are some of the best looking in my opinion. But yea don’t even think about browsing through the store to drop a quick $5-$15 bucks. They’ll sell you something that’s 100% worth $5 for $30….I am not even exaggerating. How is 2 crystals and 3 bottles of advancement material worth $30…?
First time I’ve written a positive review for anything. If you’re playing Raid: Shadow Legendary Money-Grabbers and not this app: Chaos Era, you are wrong. First off, I haven’t spent any money on this game since it came out and I’m still progressing in the game. That’s a big win. The characters are varied and look great, and not just a lot of B.S. re-skins. The storyline is good. My only complaint about the game is just that: the dialogue text is longer than it should be. Even skipping it takes time. But overall, that’s a minor complaint for a solid, well-made game without money-hungry devs tricking you into spending money. I get it, a company needs to make money. That’s ok with me. Just don’t be a bunch flashy, thieving little $h*+bags. I’ll probably purchase something soon, just to show support and appreciation to these guys for not being giant d-bags.

Great overall game. If I could make a suggestion though with the champion Godfrey, I love that character but he seems a little underwhelming for a legendary. You should change his A2 attack to an AOE with the chance of the debuffs effecting everyone. Then he will truely be a force to be reckoned with and worthy of legendary. Also you need to either rework some champs or add more with debuff status effects in AOE. For example there are not many champions that cast defense down or resist down on a AOE scale. Debuffs are very lacking in that terms. The tanks and defense up are overwhelmingly overpowered in many aspects of the game including arena. There are teams you just pass over because there defense is the strongest stat in the game and it’s very difficult to overcome teams like that. Otherwise I love the game and the drop rate of champions is a lot higher than other gacha games I have played and you frequently add more but I would like to see more with debuffs that can help compensate for the defense meta or maybe increase attack stats on some because right now there only enough power nukers I can count on one hand, Nathalia being the strongest, still can’t be made strong enough to overpower some players defense. Maybe seeing some more AOE nukers would be nice as well but thanks for all the hard work you guys do.
Over all fun game. Some of the voice lines get really repetitive and makes me tend to play with no volume after I hear someone’s ultimate for the 100th time grinding out the campaign and arena. Also having an issue on my iPad where I can’t see the back line characters if there are more than 3 and certain quests like the special quest in 6 I have no way of scrolling the camera over too the npc I need to talk to in order to continue the quest. Highly recommend the ability to be able to move camera around in fights and in special missions.. Fun game, love that it’s similar to raid but the devs are way less greedy and the quality of life is much better.
As far as Gacha goes, this ain’t bad

I was able to get a 6* within the first week, something that took a month in Raid Shadow Legends. It could just be they are allowing this to lure people in though so beware in time. I’m working on a second one which I might be able to get at the end of the week.
Other nice things to note are graphics, unique characters, a variety of different game modes, and above all how easy it is to get around the UI. You can access any part of the game in about two clicks. Very nice.
The best thing above all is the lack of equipment removal costs. I’m a game where you want to try different characters this is the most important thing. You can play everyone you get.
The downside is the beginning. It will take some time to get to a point where you actually get to do something. It’s so easy you don’t have to think for the first 30-60 minutes of game.
Other than that, there is the fundamentally flawed pvp of gacha. Nothing matters except how much money you give. I’m not sure yet if there are any missions that require you to get to a certain unattainable rank.
There are also about 10 pop ups to close each login. These offers priced the same as other similar games (less than Raid ofc).

Gives so much to the players!! It’s incredible to think that a gaccha game would take care of their players. This automatically keeps it in the running and keeps ppl coming back. Little slow at first but gets great! edit: It’s been a minute since last rating and I can honestly say I’m addicted. Just nonstop able to play and it’s very ftp friendly! Would recommend any day over the other big ones! Edit#2…. 40 days I’m still playing everyday. Resources are a little harder to come by and summons are very limited now. If you play smart you can easily excel being ftp still. Still better than raid in my opinion and I played raid for 2 years.
Extremely good gacha

I’ve played quite a few gauchas that follow the standard formula, but this game is on a whole different level. Tons of summons and Legendary rates are ACTUALLY FAIR. Plus a pity system! Lots of F2P characters are extremely good — without being an A Tier character that you’re using until you get an S Tier Legendary. The only downsides are that your Rookie Legendary is a selection completely by chance (so that bummed me out because I already spent money) and that the Matrix system has way too high of requirements. Easily spent $500 on the game and have better results than more money on other gauchas, so I have no problem buying passes and packs for this game.
Edit Aug 22: I still love this game SO much.

If you enjoy characters and RPG elements this is the game for you. You control 4 hero’s and quest thru and amazing story filled with good characters and villains. Progress the story to earn new armor and glyphs to upgrade your hero to take in dungeon and guild bosses. You can craft your team around hero’s you like or go for the more meta builds. This game rewards time put into it. Yes there is a small gear grind but the combat and ultimate of your hero’s makes it almost like a movie to watch. Daily rewards from quest are rewarding and the developers are generous with there shards used to summon hero’s as well as gems used to buy XP boosts and more summoning shards. I’ve recommended this game to 4 of my friends and y have all enjoyed it so far. Just give it a try I don’t think you’ll regret it.
The game starts off not nearly as slow as I am used to for these kinda games. Most Gatcha games will also barely give you any decent hero’s to go on but after beating the second chapter and getting a choice of a random 3 legendary hero was surprising. Not sure if that’s just the game trying to keep me or just being legit, but I was happy for it. After that the game started opening up into a lot more content, definitely a grind but one that feels decent. I can already tell building multiple hero’s is going to be a pain though. But all in all 2 days of playing I highly recommend this game if you Like gatcha games like Summoners war and the likes without crazy P2W ceilings
Been here before. Still a great time!

I have played a lot of gacha and this one stays true to the path laid out by Summoners War and closely, but not entirely, follows the model of Epic Seven. Although it certainly doesn’t reinvent the wheel, it does just enough to keep me hooked.
First, the characters are incredibly well designed. Very cool subtle animations which helps each stand out. Progress with a character is not locked behind multiple summons, thank God. A lot of characters (over 200 at the time of this review).
It borrows the low drop rates from other games which both adds to frustration as well as to the joy when you get a good drop. This helps make your team feel like your own. Skills, gear, and leveling can all be obtained through grinding. A bit light on content but PVP is done well and will keep you coming back. If you’re looking for a different take on a good formula, it’s certainly worth a try.

I had been playing some other games for a few years and got disgruntled at the new money-grabs they were making. I ran across ACE in an ad and decided to check it out. If I didn’t like it I would just uninstall. That was a few weeks ago. ACE managed to pull in some of the more positive features from several popular games. Graphics and animation are top-notch! The characters are individual and not just reskinned models. The more rare characters have their own cinematic when doing their ultimate move which is a nice touch. Background images are nice and add to the story/gameplay. Rewards are generous as well making this a very viable FTP game. Although you could spend money if you chose to, it isn’t necessary. You can have a competitive team with what you get for free. ACE is well worth a download!

This game has surpassed all expectations. I started as a free to play player and loved all the content this game provides for those who don’t spend money. The pity system works well and though obviously anyone would love for the developers to hand out legendary units like candy the way it’s set up keep me playing. The QOL is also present with constant updates adding new feature and characters that the meta is constantly changing. For a game that’s only been global for a few months it shows so much potential. If your looking for a well polished game with a development team that cares about what they are putting out then this game is perfect. I also want to note the the character designs and graphics as a whole are detailed and stunning.
Awesome and addictive game.

I’ve never done a review I don’t think, but I feel as if this game deserves one. Although it’s a gacha game, it doesn’t make you feel like you HAVE to spend tons of money to be able to play and enjoy it. The characters and their abilities are great, the graphics, the dungeons, the gear, everything is great imo. It’s one of the only gacha games I’ve been able to enjoy without being pressured into spending tons of money to get a little farther ahead. The rare heros are also very usable, and in some instances better than some legendaries, so there’s a wide variety of teams and builds you could do for everyone. Many other games keep only the epics and legendaries as usable, but here, even some rares have a spot on many amazing teams. Top notch, devs are consistent and always tweak the game every week, apply buffs to those who need it, they listen to the community feedback. A 5/5 for me.
Been playing for over a year. I like the animation and character choices. Always seems to be new features happening whether it’s new characters or game experience changes or updates to in game play. Overall I’ve been happy with it and will continue logging in as often as I can. There are a couple things I would recommend for enhancements. First the clan banker boss it would be nice to get some better rewards, would be great to get a book or something. Second, many times in the arena I’m not sure why crits aren’t happening. I check my percentages, and the types to make sure they’re not mismatched, and armor, and even go back and look at champions themselves. From what I see it should be happening. Would love something after a battle or some explanation somewhere as to why things aren’t happening.

This game has just about everything I wanted. Top notch graphics, great story, creative environments, awesome and abundant character design. My only complaint is that this game has way to much verbiage in its story line. I wanted to show it off to people but they lost interest by the time I could get to a fight. I also felt uncomfortable because the tutorial just never seemed to let go. I needed it for a little while as I am really just getting into playing phone games but there were times I wanted to start doing things on my own like level up and the auto tutorial was like no select HERE blink..blink. These things should be introduced at different points in the game inmyop. It was so controlling I started to wonder things like how random is my random character or is he just part of the story. Anyway those were my only two complaints. This games awesome in every other way.
There is plenty

This game has plenty. What I mean by that is - story, arena, events, characters, gear, enhancements/ materials, ect. Honestly, I haven’t played a game like this that has so many things you can be doing to strengthen your champions. Also,as a newbie free to play! The rookie(newbie) guide and rewards are awesome. You’re not struggling for better champs. And if you’re so find yourself struggling as you make your way through the hard or mythic storyline. Your friends have champs you can borrow if you just don’t have a certain strong element champ. This game is super addicting and has a great community to chat with if you have questions. Trust me when I say. You’ll definitely enjoy this game.
Few things, after starting over

by Dhiyvsw4ngce
This is my second time playing through the game, my first time I got really bad summons. Few things that would help.
1, Speed farming. Click the auto battle 10 times button then the game just farms 10 times. Instead of making you sit through 10 battles over and over again.
2, Recommendations. For gear and heros. Telling you what gear they recommend you use, or what heroes they recommend you use. For each boss let’s say.
3, Legendary or Epic hero on every 10 times summon. Probably every 3 or 5. 10 times summons for a legendary or even a probability boost. Like 90% more likely.
4, Autoplay skipping dialog box sections.
5, Gear summon. Or crafting. Also change gear stats like say 50,000 gold to change the bass stat, from health 50% to speed +10. And 20,000 gold per sub-stat.
6, A indicator to see how much damage your Poison, Burn… Etc actually did after a boss fight. Like at the end it tells you. Burn 500 damage. Or Burn 50 damage. Just to see how much it really effects the fight.
11% where, how?

Game is awesome but drop rate is awful. I’ve been playing the game for almost a week and today I see the drop rate for a new legendary character was increased to 11% so I bought a $100 offer for 60 summon shards & 3000 diamonds which is another 20 summons. 80 summons later and not 1 legendary character. By my calculations I should have summoned at least 8 legendary’s but if I’m being honest I would have been happy with 1 legendary. I’m going to continue playing this game because it’s really good but they wil not get 1 more dollar from me.
2 month update: It is too hard to pull legendary characters. Really cool game though
I have played quite a few of these same types of games. I’m throughly impressed with this one. I do really enjoy the graphics and the character designs. I like the color schemes, the storyline is actually engaging - I like the summon rates and the rate at which I get items. You really can get a lot done with very little money spent. I absolutely recommend the battle pass like purchase at the beginning - it really gave a lot to my new account. Most purchases I’ve made are cheap and effective. I’m highly satisfied. I wouldn’t compare it to raid. It’s definitely its own thing - but I actually quit raid - I thought they were far too greedy with very little quick progress.
