Downloaded app to try free trial and found it won’t allow me to put in my own recipes, so is useless to me. (For instance it assumes my quiche is same as ones that use lots of butter and cream.) Went to cancel through SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter which took me to apple subscriptions. Hit cancel and it keeps coming back on as a valid subscription that will bill me in six days. Cannot get it to show as cancelled. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AND HOPE TO GET AN ACTUAL FREE TRIAL!

SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter doesnt work well. not worth the money. 👎

So I post a meal that I ate and was waiting back for the results for some “ nutritionist” to get back to get with how many calories are in my meal and it said I would take 15 minutes so I waited before eating my food. After the 15 pass and nothing I just when and ate my food. the ad shows it as if you can get results back in like instant not in 15 minutes and also I didn’t get anything back from this “nutritionist” and I literally waited a whole day and the picture of my meal was then deleted as if I never posted anything. So I deleted my subscription and account. 🤷🏾♀️

I took a photo of a waffle with Nutella on it. First, it asked me to describe the food in the photo, which completely defeats the purpose. Then, it didn’t add the food to my log; it said a human being had to look at it to figure out the calories. Again, this defeats the purpose, and explains why SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter costs _$30 per month_, which is outrageous.

I cancelled my membership but still got $149 charge in my credit card today- despite the cancellation, they r requiring me to dispute with my credit card company!
Horrible customer services!
by Caveat Emptor123
Claims that it’s main feature is to analyze photos of food and estimate calories. After wasting 10 minutes registering and entering meaningless information it tells me that’s a “premium” feature. In other words, there is no way to test out whether the AI analysis of photos actually works - something I’m frankly skeptical of – before paying for it! At least offer a free sample. Waste of time which I deleted.

WARNING: They auto-renew and don't warn you that they will charge your credit card. I hadn't used SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter in months because I didn't find it helpful. I IMMEDIATELY emailed to cancel when I saw the charge and they refused to refund the $199 that they charged me for the upcoming year. I definitely will not be returning to use SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter no matter how much they improve it.

I am open to trying new apps. And I thought I would give this one a shot. I was hoping for a 7 day free trial so I could even see if it would work for me before committing to paying for it. This is a fairly standard practice. I wasn’t looking for anything more than a week free. Instead, they gave me the option to try it free with limited options if I shared SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter as a recommendation to 8 people. Thinking it was clever marketing, I happily shared SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter to 8 people who I believed would benefit from it. Then I proceeded to start scanning and typing in my breakfast. Once I was done I hit “continue” and then it proceeded to block me from accessing the next screen unless I paid for it or shared it with 8 more people. It is beyond excessive to require a free trial user to share SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter as a recommendation to 8 people anytime they wanted to log a single item. I have little no information about the efficacy of SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter and will not be able to without committing to paying for it or spamming the link to 8 people multiple times a day. It’s a scam.

I am trying to test SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter , and it looks like it doesn’t support photo uploads. So I can’t test with the picture of the yogurt I got this morning. Also, it seems to say it doesn’t support more than one pic a day? I am supposed to do a photo montage of my food at the end of the day? Ok, I get it. AI analysis is expensive so the push is to make me subscribe. SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter Calories Mama doesn’t have this restriction, but I hate its user interface. SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter, the UI is cleaner but I can’t test it with the current limitations so I’ll sure never subscribe to it either.

The concept of SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is great but the execution is just not there. SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter often can not distinguish between food. It identified shredded cheese on a plate as hash browns. The subscription cost does not justify the current capabilities. However once the tech matures much more than it’s current state it could revolutionize tracking. Just not there yet. Feels like a beta

Why have we changed the method of entering daily food? I’ve been using SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter for months and successfully entering my food the same way every day, now all of a sudden that is gone and everything is new? This really puts a dent in my daily food tracking.
by Krisnnick
I love SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter but this trend on paying yearly is not the way. If every app I wanted on my phone charged yearly I could spend a thousand dollars at once which is insane. I subscribe to several apps and I’d gladly pay 9.99 a month but since the only option is yearly I’ll be canceling after my free trial sadly.

The meal keeps logging to the last date and time selected. So if I logged dinner for Sunday then try to log breakfast on Monday, my Monday meal gets attached to Sunday dinner. Can’t fix the date of a meal so it’s super annoying.

I would rate SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter five stars if it included a dessert option and using photos from your camera roll to count the calories. Everything else is excellent. I love that I can take a picture and get the calorie count of the food. I will continue using SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter as it is the best one I have found, and I am considering upgrading to the premium version after my trial ends.

I've tested SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter on pretty tricky edge cases, and due to its combination of human annotation with computer vision it handles them very well
The UX is very simple and elegant, just take a picture and you ge calories + macros nicely tracked
by Nance Q
I’ve used many a meal tracking app before… paid and free. This is by far the easiest, most intuitive app I’ve tried. Makes logging super easy! I also really appreciated how inclusive the calorie & macros tracking survey was and love the at-a-glance nutrition label format of viewing entries.
by ATS10000
I tried basically every popular macro/calorie/nutrient tracking app and this one is by far and away the best if you’re looking for 1) a simple approach to be aware of calorie limits and macro targets and 2) ease of use with snapping a picture/bar code/AI integration accurate enough to stay on top of goals but not overwhelmingly detailed.
I couldn’t keep up with the other ones and always felt like my estimates were off but SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter takes 5% of the time to stay on top of your targets and achieve (in my case) weight loss + protein intake goals. 5 stars thanks team!

Would highly recommend Liz she’s the best!

Can’t live without it now. Love how many micronutrients it covers and the photo meal logging feature is magical!
by Noobsip
Out of all the calorie apps I have used , this one is by far the best . Not too complicated , and easy to use with an amazing UI.
by Kathcan
I use the photo estimates and add some info with the food log. I am amazed how accurate it is. Hopefully I’ll continue to use it lol
by Johnny6229
The AI is so accurate SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is amazing! Its a bit expensive but worth it given how much better the model is than other apps on the market.

I’ve been using SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter for the past 3 days and absolutely love it. By far better than my fitness pal, noom, or any of other big competitors out there for meal tracking. I got the annual subscription for $15 (80% off discount) and it’s already been worth the price. Love how easy it is to track your meals either by voice memo, picture, scanning barcodes, or searching the food. Plus it is an integrated chat bot you can ask questions and get helpful information for your health journey (create a high protein meal, when should I cut my calories if I want to lose x amount of weight, how do I go into a calorie deficit) this is basically ChatGPT for meal tracking. 5 gold stars to the Dev Team, you guys did a great job. Excited to see what new releases and tweaks that come in the future. 100% recommend SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter and the subscription - definitely take the discount offer.

SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is amazing! I love all of the unique features and how I can track my food simply by snapping a photo. Elizabeth Gunner also offers 1:1 counseling on SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter and she’s the best - highly recommend her. Can’t wait to continue seeing results!

This technology is amazing. Incredible accuracy as far as knowing the type of food and the calorie amount from a snapped picture. You get the nutrition facts without having to look up the nutrition facts. Very cool.

I used SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter briefly and decided it wasn’t for me but their customer service was outstanding. They issued me a full refund very promptly after I emailed them and were very easy to work with.

I need help to keeping self, discipline to watching how I eat! I purchased scales and do not know what so am really doing. I upload your App, and did some trial tests and you were pretty much accurate to the nutrition facts on the cart maybe sometimes slightly higher but in the ballpark. I AM A BELIEVER. I have trusting issues and because I found the trial to be true, I know, I have a partner(YOU), I can trust, to go through this journey with me, of reaching my goal weight, moving forward. I AM, A WINNER, BABY! I am excited and I AM GO TO DO WHAT DO, WIN! Thank you for your SNAPCALORIE App and Support! This really works! Try it you like it!
by LanaIsPretty
I am giving this a 5 star because it is a good app. I tested it out with one meal and it was definitely accurate, however, it is a pricey subscription upfront. No free trials, no monthly options. Your health is worth investing in for sure I just like more than one option to use SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter . It’s an excellent way to track meals hands down heard about it on a Facebook reel. I would consider it in the future.
by Brndnzlda
Love SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter. I don’t have the time or willpower to manually log my calories. SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter gives me a quick and easy way to both have a calorie estimate for the day and a photo journal of what I have eaten. Makes me more aware of how much I am eating and make healthier choices.
Two features I would like to see are widgets and dark mode. Thank you for a great app!
by Tubaguy9008
I absolutely love SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter. I cook most of my meals and it’s frustrating trying to count them with calorie apps. This is so easy! You literally take a picture and your done! Thank you so much for creating SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter!

Heard about this through a podcast, checked it out in SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter Store, and was convinced to download it soley by SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter replies from your team. It’s so cool to see companies that genuinely listen to customers and enhance based on their feedback 👏 pumped to try this

I was a little skeptical going in.But SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is incredibly accurate, and incredibly easy to use. SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is the missing piece of the puzzle in getting caloric intake under control. Highly recommend it.

An exceptional application that help me track my nutrition with ease and accuracy. 5 stars!
by Blue2021
I’m a bit freaked out with how accurate SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is after taking a picture of my meals. I haven’t seen anything else like it. I love it. It saves time. I get so tired of looking up different foods. This is awesome.
by BobsYourUncle27
Fantastic app. Easy to use and very accurate!
by Veda Sultenfuss
Intuitive and easy to use for those that get bogged down manually entering foods like other apps.
by Neeksac
SnapCalorieAICalorieCounter is AMAZING. The lidar portion sizing works well. I’m using it to count carbs as I’m a diabetic. And I’m using it for weight loss. The design is intuitive giving you quick access to important information. So far it’s been pretty accurate. This is a game changer.

For the photo calorie counter our team has published in a top peer reviewed academic conference where we demonstrated our approach is over twice the accuracy of a professional nutritionist.
Use our photo calorie counter to log a meal in seconds and get an accurate estimate of the calories, macros, and micronutrients.
You can also use the photo calorie counter to suggest ingredients, and you can correct the portion sizes later with a scale measurement.
Our photo calorie counter tries to identify the contents of the food visually, like a nutritionist would.
Our photo calorie counter will not be more accurate, but it will take a fraction of the time to input.
Oils are challenging for anyone calorie counting, and our photo calorie counter will not be perfect at this either.
To streamline the photo calorie counting further, use the “favorites” feature in the app to easily track your frequent foods and beverages.
Portion sizes are measured using modern depth sensors on your phone, making our results even more accurate than a person alone could do.
To get the most accurate results, one should focus more on accurate portion sizes than on getting the exact ingredients right.
We send these predictions to an actual person for verification to ensure the most accurate estimate of calories, fat, carbs, and protein.
If you have any questions on the accuracy of the data, our app allows you to submit the question to a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for verification.
Barcode logging and everything but photo based tracking is free to use for all users without a subscription.
Stop obsessing over every calorie and shift your focus to your overall health goals.
We know calorie tracking is an incredibly sensitive and risky area.
