NEXT for Managers and Crew Reviews

I have been trying to get NEXT to work for a couple weeks now. I have contacted support through NEXT and nothing they suggest is working. My company is use of NEXT for work and none of the messages load until days later. My entire store is having the same issue. I will update this review if the bugs are fixed.

Update:
After being in contact with support for about 3.5 weeks they opened an investigation with my store. They were able to fix the issues we were having and no our messages load as they come. The layout of NEXT is still a bit confusing but we are getting used to it. Thank you.

brink back ‘store schedule’ why can’t i no longer view who i’m working my shift with??😒😢

I’ve tried turning my phone off and on again, using Wi-Fi and using phone data, but no matter what I do when I enter NEXT it says loading for a second and then just has a pure white screen, I don’t know what to do because I can’t see my shifts and don’t want to be late, I also wanted to see if a coworker can take my shift for later in the day because I found out I won’t be able to get transportation today since it’s a holiday but since I just spent a good while trying to get in NEXT the shifts time is too close and I’m gonna have to figure out how I can do it, NEXT was supposed to be a big help but I don’t like it crashing on me

I dislike how in the schedule view it shows all the people who come in at the same time as stacked accordions and you have to click on them to expand… no only that but it has their start time in the left and then their start AND end time under their name.. just put the start and end time on the left… wish I had the this app for managers app (the previous version) because some of the other managers at my work have it still and it works just fine but I can’t use it…

Just because NEXT looks newer doesn’t make it useable. I’m young and can easily learn how to navigate apps when they’re updated but the current set up of NEXT is so confusing even to me. I’ve spent hours trying to figure out how to message my coworkers through NEXT and still can’t click of them to start a new message. It’s the only reason I have NEXT since our schedules are already posted inside our store. If I’m having this much issue imagine how hard it is for my older coworkers :/

Works okay but the new update is terrible for any store that regularly has schedule changes that might use NEXT to decide on where people will work, scrolling through a schedule for 2minutes just go find what time a person that isn’t you works is awful. Please just give us a choice go use the new one or the old one.

Was working yesterday for me to look at my schedule but I go to get on it today and it keeps saying updating local and nothing else happens. I really need NEXT to work in order for me to know when I’m working and when I’m off work. Please just fix the problem

It is kind of difficult to run a business from a cell phone screen, it would be more useful if you can sit at the computer and have a more expanded experience on iPads or desktop screens

It’s great to me despite others having problems with it. No complaints

I open NEXT and it keeps going to white screen

iv tried reinstalling it and signing in and out and the group messages still won’t load

1 out of 20 time that i have to open NEXT 2 time i actually get to go in 19 of the time is just blank nothing shows up its frustrating fix it

It asks me to fill in my birthdate and store phone number, which I do, but it just denies it and tells me to put it in and it just repeats. I need this to see my work schedule and it’s garbage.

NEXT won’t let me log in and doesn’t load when it needs to

NEXT is not useful at all. I tried logging in several times and it would not let me log in. NEXT is stupid . Don’t download and waste ur time.🙄

They want me to download version 3.2 but there is no update from version 3.1 in the iOS App Store.

I use to have NEXT on my old lg and Igor and apple phone se and I can’t even get my phone number in

NEXT would be even more excellent if it would allow me to put it as a widget on my phone for my new iPhone because it makes it more convenient. I think it would be if they would add widgets and be able to send you notifications on like what time you work, or I’ll let you know they OAU work in 30 minutes or an hour. I’ll tell you like a couple of minutes before or a day before like you work tomorrow that would be an excellent future to add also would be another pleasant future if they would add where you could put it as a widget on your screen so like if you ever need to look quick and see oh I work tomorrow or just let you know when you work, that would be even a more excellent future to have on NEXT so it can be more accessible and more able to use it in the convenience of having widgets on the screen would even be more helpful because it would allow me to be able to look at the time when I work and get notifications of what time at work and moon and what I’m doing. I think they should add that though which is should be said if I had it soon hopefully

My kids have used NEXT for their shifts at their part time jobs. My eldest used it last summer and we found it to be easy, intuitive, and helpful. This summer my second child secured a part time job and we ran into issues trying create another profile. While it took us a minute to find how to seek help (there were a few layers to weed through), once we reached support they were thorough and helpful! They even answered late at night on a weekend!

NEXT is so much worse than the previous versions of NEXT . First off what kind of fever dream UGI is NEXT using. Do a focus group or something. The controls are not intuitive you have to open so many menus just to see what you need to see. The old apps were bad but stuff was laid out logically. NEXT it is not. Get it together.

Although I understand putting both apps into one is good and I like that just rethink the layouts please. - I use NEXT everyday for work contact me and I’d have a face time if you guys want more coherent feedback.

I decided to email them a problem I had with NEXT , when I woke up and was brought to the “Sign In” page which doesn’t make sense because I still actively work at my location. I’m still an employee yet they just removed me from their database and all my info doesn’t seem to let me back into NEXT ?

Hard to navigate when trying to find coverage. Cannot easily bounce between needing to view list of all employees and current days schedule. Previous version of the this app App was much easier to navigate through. Disappointed with the updated version as I’m finding more things that’s not as convenient as the previous version

This version very difficult to read, uses pale gray miniature text on colored background. Difficult to navigate. Can not view calendar easily. A short list of failures. The same previous version was easy to use, read and worked. Zero rating on f that was available!

NEXT is great, it tells me my hours,how much I make that day and lmk if it’s extra shifts available

It doesn’t even work half of the time, I’ve tried everything i could’ve to get it to work. It continues to say network error & now I can’t even see my schedule. I wouldn’t recommend any work places even using NEXT.

this app shifts notify but don’t show up in the this app shift tab until week or work week of so a manager has to be awake at midnight (Wednesdays and Sundays for my job) to approve and support doesn’t understand that it’s A PROBLEM

When asked to type in month and date of birth it says incorrect when signing in. Don’t know how to sign in it would be way easier to have DOB: or a system that you could slide numbers until you get your Dob right.

App was great in the past. this app overhauled the entire app several months ago and it’s awful. At first, I assumed it was just growing pains of relaunching NEXT . Our organization is planning to cancel and switch to a different platform in 2023.

I love the structure put in place to add a sense of organization within the McDonald’s employment scheduling system this really adds a sense of purpose and structure and also reveals layer , almost a new sense of responsibility. I love NEXT

please take into consideration fixing some bug issues and having an update. personally, app never did work right for me . not able to tap to see my schedule yet able to drag screen up and down? keep deleting NEXT hoping it will fix this problem by reseting or something but it does not. not even able to dismiss the little tab in the beginning asking if i want to add a profile picture since it keeps automatically just signing me in every time. whole screen is just frozen aside from being able to move screen up and down. no matter how many times screen is tapped , app is deleted or phone is reset sadly i cant even access basic functions to NEXT .

I enjoy the ability to check my schedule at any time, but I really wish it was a little more fleshed out and mobile-user friendly. I also wish there was a widget to see when your this app shift is.

I use NEXT since I started at my first job. It is very useful. I got a new number and phone but I had to log in with my old number. I can’t figure out how to switch my number to my new one. And I can’t message anyone on NEXT But other than that it is great and will always use it

I dont like NEXT but i have to have it for work the reason why i am putting three stars is because it takes sooo long just to see what my this app schedule is i uninstalled and reinstalled it and it keeps taking forever please fix NEXT

The new update is glitching when I check my schedule. It won’t let me check the different days is stays on the same place
