I don’t write review unless I encounter something so amazing, or so bad I feel compelled to warn others. ConnectedFamily will regularly fail to load the camera feed forcing you to close and restart it. When it does it either takes upwards of 35 seconds (which is a long time when checking on a child), or fails to load audio. If both video and audio happen to work, something as simple as leaving the feed to view settings or another tab in ConnectedFamily will also cause one or both to happen. It also won’t send push notifications. These are the most basic, and important features, which it reliably fails to do. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, I can’t imagine any amount of troubleshooting or updates that will fix this awful product, and even further the trust/confidence that I no longer have in any dorel product. That’s also work the consumer should have to do, and wouldn’t have to do if this product was properly developed. In so many major details, I see lack of care in this product, even in the ac adapter which protrudes when plugged in, at best making it difficult to mount, worst being attractive for a child to tamper with for those may who are limited in outlet locations. They discontinued a product that save a few tolerable issues worked well, to roll out an all but unusable product line.

I didn’t mind having to switch out devices because the old monitor was being discontinued since I was being sent the so-called upgrade for free. If I had been forced to pay for this new model and software I would be livid!! It is beyond horrible! The sound doesn’t work consistently so you have to constantly check that it’s actually working. The camera itself doesn't swivel in any direction like the previous model, it only moves up and down. My kid’s room are upstairs so some of their wall are slanted from the roofline making the monitor impossible to get a good view like the previous model. ConnectedFamily is not nearly as user friendly as the old one. The two way talk feature is glitchy at best. The sound sensitivity only has two settings, high or low. I’m either getting notifications every two seconds for every little thing with it on high or I have to hope my son makes enough noise when he wakes up to trigger a notification with it on low which doesn’t happen if he isn’t screaming at the top of his lungs. Thank goodness this is my last child and he’s almost out of the stage of needing a monitor because I would definitely need to buy a new one if he were younger or I was planning to have more kids.

If you just bought this monitor, RETUN IT, ASAP! Save yourself a headache and find something better. If you’re just considering buying it, don’t. Trash!

I recently received the Safety 1st Wifi Baby Monitor to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was excited to try it out since I did not own a baby monitor to use and was doing without one. Having this baby monitor has made it so convenient to do house work on the other side of the house while my baby sleeps. I can check on her any time I want through ConnectedFamily . ConnectedFamily also alerts me if she wakes up or if she is restless. I can also go back and watch her sleep throughout the night and see how much she moves in her sleep. The Safety 1st Wifi Baby Monitor has easy playback options to check back days or weeks ago. I haven’t checked to see how far back I can go or how long it keeps the video and audio. The monitor take video in darkness and when in light. ConnectedFamily is busier friendly and was easy to set up and learn to get familiar with it. ConnectedFamily sends notifications to my phone to let me know if a sound or a human movement was detected. The only reason I gave this a 4 star and not a 5 star is because the monitor has stopped working twice and I had to unplug it and plug it back in and let it reboot up which is an easy fix. Not sure if it’s something I’m doing or maybe my internet connection but it seems to work without any issues besides that. I have really enjoyed this product and will recommend this monitor and this brand to other moms.

This product was received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel to review. It was very easy and quick to set up out of the box. The monitor uses an app on your phone, which was nice to have access to it no matter where I was. The camera showed a clear picture on the phone screen, but you have to be careful to follow the directions and place it a certain distance away from walls/objects so that it doesn't focus on those objects and instead focuses on the room. It has a nice wide view. I would like if there was a feature for it to pan the room side to side and up and down to truly have access to the entire room to view. ConnectedFamily was easy to share with other caregivers. It was also great that this camera could be easily moved to other rooms in the house if needed. My favorite feature was that you could pinch to zoom the picture on your phone very easily and that you could pull up the camera on your phone even if not at home. A small, but appreciated feature is you can turn off the small light on the camera too, so it does not disturb your baby when sleeping in a dark room. The colors were also neutral and went with the decor of our room without standing out. I do still prefer monitors that have a stand alone screen so that I can also be on my phone and not disrupt the viewing of the monitor.

Let me just preface this that I have been using the same monitor model for my four kids since 2017…I was pleasantly SHOCKED at the clear picture and the large screen on the monitor- I could see everything! I don’t have the time or energy to sit and do complicated installs, so I really appreciated how quickly the setup was- so simple! I liked being able to either use an app and save videos of my little one’s sweet moments, or just use the hand held display monitor around the house. ConnectedFamily itself is very easy to use and a nice addition to the monitor. The CryAssist is a great feature, but I didn’t need to use it as much right now, because my little one’s bed alerts me to when he’s crying and sometimes his babble was confused for crying. I do think this will be a great feature to use more in the future. Everything was very user-friendly, and I’d recommend it to friends and family, specifically right now to my sister who is expecting her first any day now. We have a 3 month old and have used this monitor (and app) for a few weeks now. Overall, we really love this baby monitor/app! My favorite feature is that there are TWO ways to view our baby: (1) there is a handheld parent unit (external monitor that runs on radio frequency, no WiFi required) AND (2) this phone app via WiFi! It is really useful to have both options for many reasons (not having to solely rely on WiFi; the convenience of having a parent unit instead of having to have an app open on our phone(s) all the time; being able to check in on baby from outside the house while someone's watching him; etc.) The sound and video quality are really great, and we love the big screen on the parent unit. The buttons are easy to navigate. It's useful that it relays temperature and humidity. Note: We do not find the CryAssist feature all that helpful because (a) when it alerts us he's crying, we're usually already aware that he's crying; and (b) it's still unclear to us how accurate the cry translations are (i.e. it's told us he's hungry right after he's eaten before). Yet, it's still kind of fun and thought provoking to see what it thinks he's crying about! Haha. I would definitely recommend this monitor and app to my friends! It's my favorite monitor so far (and I've used 3 others in the past!) (Note: I received the monitor through the Stellar Product Testing Panel).

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Hands down the best feature of this monitor is the quality of the video it provides. No squinting trying to figure out what you’re looking at, no blurry images. The sound quality is also very good, so on both counts, I felt confident using this for my little one. Set up was simple and accomplished in a matter of minutes. I prefer baby monitoring systems that have a dedicated handheld monitor (as opposed to having to use your phone screen), and the monitor here is lightweight and easy to use. The CryAssist feature is very intriguing; we’ve been using this product primarily with our toddler, so haven’t had much occasion to test that feature out, but we are bringing our newborn home from the hospital today and are looking forward to trying the CryAssist feature with him. All in all, this monitor system seems to take into account what is most useful for and desired by parents, and incorporates it all in an easy to use format.

This monitor was everything I was looking for in a monitor and a few things I didn’t think to look for. First of all it’s beautiful, which, although not the most important factor, isn’t unimportant when you’ve carefully curated every other aspect of the nursery. It is also an incredibly clear picture both day and night that you can access securely through either your phone or the monitor screen depending on where you are. It also has a great Cry Assist feature that helps you to tell what your baby’s cry means. It is a paid feature but with the first 6 months free, you have enough time to decide if the help is worth the fee to you or not. My only complaint is that I wish the volume and brightness controls were physical buttons on the side of the monitor instead of features through the menu, but it becomes fairly second nature quickly to navigate to them. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this smart baby monitor. I was impressed by this baby monitors video quality and how easily it picked up every sound. It was a seamless effort to set-up and connect it to our home network, we had it working quickly with no trouble. The CryAssist feature was interesting and new to us, it seemed to work accurately as far as we can tell. We found it to be helpful and our other kids got a kick out of it too. The parent display unit was sleek with a slim design profile. It was very easy to navigate the menus and the quality of the picture was great. The unit also had a far range outdoors, we were able to take it outside a good distance to allow bike riding time with our other kids during the babies nap time. One of the features that stood out the most while using this baby monitor was the lengthy battery life on the parent unit, it lasted a good 10 hours. We also enjoyed the angle adjust wedge to help point the camera downwards for easily viewing our baby in the crib.

The Maxi Cosi See Pro 360 Baby Monitor is impressive. We have used our share of monitors with 4 kids and counting and this one has been the best. The sound and video quality is exceptional, even at night in the dark. It was easy to set up and connect it to our wifi network. I was able to set it up myself without frustration. My favorite feature is the CryAssist. This feature uses AI to translate your baby’s cries so you know if they are sleepy, fussy, gassy, agitated, hungry etc. I found this extremely helpful (and accurate!) especially in the middle of the night. I love the parent display and the ease of navigating through it. I also loved that I could pull up the camera via ConnectedFamily on my phone. This also gives peace of mind when the grandparents are baby sitting and we want to check in remotely. My husband also enjoys checking in during naps when he is at work- helps to feel connected. With the wonderful app and CryAssist, I cannot recommend this baby monitor enough. I received this smart baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

I was really excited to try out the new ai features of this baby monitor/app. The CryAssist was so cool and pretty accurate. The more feedback you give, the better the results, but overall ConnectedFamily predicted my baby girl's needs much faster than I anticipated. It took some of the "first time mom" stress away when I was able to match her cries to her needs in a relatively short time. The display is also very beautiful and the ability to share access with my husband and grandparents was appreciated too. I also like the look of the model as it is quite sleek and modern and light weight. It mounts easily to the wall and comes with gear for managing the cord. You can also place it directly on a dresser which is what we chose to do so we could keep the device mobile and bring it with us. I do wish there was an internal battery to the monitor so that it could be used on the go more easily but it does take a simple USB-C adapter. I would also recommend a clamp base to connect it to bassinet. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this product for my baby girl.

I received this smart baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far am loving it. It has a sleek design with neutral colors to match well with any room. It was super easy to set up. Even though I think we mounted it too high up on the wall and have to use 2x zoom on the parent display, the picture is still very clear. The parent display is easy to use and a perfect size. I’ve always been skeptical about WiFi baby monitors, but have been pleasantly surprised by how much I actually like it. Love being able to check in on baby even if I’m not home. ConnectedFamily has been especially helpful with having a very active toddler I’m constantly chasing around. It’s been great to get a notification on my phone (or watch) to tell me when baby is crying if I don’t have the parent display nearby. The CryAssist feature and the reports it generates are pretty cool. The only issue is if the bedroom door is open, the monitor will pick up my toddler crying in another room and send me a notification so that gets mixed in with the cries that it translates from the baby. All in all a great monitor!

This monitor was remarkably easy to set up and took us about 20 minutes total to get everything ready to go, including the apps on our phones! I’m LOVING the option of having ConnectedFamily to check in while I’m away from home, this is my favorite feature since I’ve never had the option of both with previous monitors. Another great feature this monitor offers is CryAssist, using AI technology, it decodes my baby’s cry and helps us determine if he’s fussy, gassy, hungry, tired, etc. The first time I tried it was when my son was ready to go down for a nap, he was whining and the notification on my phone said it translated my baby’s cry to “tired”, I was completely shocked with the accuracy. I think the CryAssist feature will be extremely helpful for a baby sitter. The one downside to this feature was when our toddler would be throwing a tantrum, the monitor would pick up on that and give a false alarm. I was pleasantly surprised with how much sound it picked up and the video quality was impeccable. I found the parent display extremely easy to navigate and toggling through all the different settings was a breeze. The See Pro 360 Baby Monitor has been an amazing addition to our child's room. It is a must have item for parents with babies and young children.

The sound and video quality blew me away! We had an older video monitor that lacked clarity and had spotty functionality. That's certainly not the case for the See Pro 360! The image is so clear and the auto switch from daylight to night vision is seamless. I also was extremely comforted knowing that it picked up the sounds perfectly. Out of the box, installation and setup was smooth and we didn't have any issues. It connected right away with no struggle.

The parent display was perfect. The screen size is large and the buttons are easy to maneuver. I appreciated being able to see the temperature in the room! The one thing that stood out to me the most was the ability to use the parent display and the Connected Families app to see/track my child. The audio feedback and talk feature was spectacular. My voice was clear and not weird like some. This definitely helped soothe my child. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this smart baby monitor.

As a mom of four small children, I have tried my fair share of video monitors. The See Pro 360° Baby Monitor is the first monitor my husband asked if we could buy more to have one in both of the rooms our children sleep in. I was impressed with how quickly I was able to set it up with both my phone and the separate parent monitor. The CryAssist feature was nice to be alerted on my phone when a child was napping. I didn’t enjoy how overly sensitive it was. It would alert me to a child crying while the child was in the living room with me. I my phone during the day and used the parent monitor next to my bed at night. I was glad to have the parent monitor because I try not to use my phone at night. The parent monitor is easy to use, but doesn’t have a way to turn it sleep mode you had to wait a minimum of 1 minute for the screen to go dark. Over all I would still like to add another one of these monitors to my home, because having such a clear picture when checking on my children is very important to me. I received the Maxi Cosi smart baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It has every feature you could want!
The camera was easy to setup and start using right away. Start to finish was less than 10 minutes. It offers a handheld parent monitor with crystal clear video and audio, and was easy to navigate.
ConnectedFamily has worked flawlessly. I was easily able to configure it to my preferences and invite my husband to view as well. The CryAssist feature recognizes the baby crying, and then gives a possible reason, such as the baby being tired or hungry, and I found it to be very accurate in translating my daughter’s cries.
In both ConnectedFamily and the parent monitor it is easy to zoom in or out to get a view of the baby in her crib, or to view the entire room. And the sound can be adjusted. It is also nice that there is an option to either store footage in the cloud, or use an SD card to save footage— a feature I haven’t found in other baby monitors.
All in all, the baby monitor system was everything we could ask for. Nothing was left out. I highly recommend and wish we would have had it with our other babies!

I am very impressed with the quality of this monitor! This is the third baby monitor I have used and the picture and sound quality are leaps ahead of my previous two. I love how clear the image is in the screen and how I can understand everything my toddler says or hear clearly when my newborn is making any sounds. I thought the controls were all very straightforward and user friendly- and I am not usually very good with technology haha. My previous monitors also only swiveled along one axis, so this one moving on two axis’s makes seeing the room a lot easier from a mounted position.
The cry assist feature seems like it would be very cool and I liked that the monitor could distinguish cries from cooing or babbling to alert me, but I couldn’t figure out what the box meant when it said it could differentiate between types of crying. That could just be user error though.
Overall, even though I couldn’t figure out the cry assist completely, I really love this monitor for its high quality finishes and easy to use design. Although I received this smart baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel I would purchase this product as well as recommend it to a friend.

I received this See Pro 360 baby monitor in exchange for an honest review from Steller product testing Panel. I absolutely love it for my 3rd child. I have used two other brands in the past that I did not like. I love the parent screen that is clear, doesn’t disconnect, and has many features. I also love that you can view the monitor from your phone while you are out and about or at work. It was so easy to set up, gives a clear picture in both day and night and you can view it at home or on the go. I have used it both baby’s room and the play room for my older children. The baby cry notifications allow you to be notified when a cry is detected and I was able to quickly check my screen to make sure my child was being taken care of when I was out of the home. I have already recommended this monitor to friends! I did not utilize the AI technology as my child already sleeps through the night and I know his signals but I love that the family connect app has features to track feedings, diaper changes, diaries etc so only one app is needed for everything. If you are looking for an easy to use, clear picture, versatile monitor, the See Pro 360 is it!

We had a basic monitor for our first baby and it worked great. Since using this smart monitor we realized we were really missing out! Packaging was so smart and efficient. You could tell the high quality of the monitor, camera and cords right away. The setup was easy! All I had to do was turn on the monitor and plug in the camera. Everything was already connected. The camera and monitor quality is outstanding. You can see everything so clearly in the dark and vividly in color. The ability to swivel the camera 360 degrees lets us see around the entire room! I love the temperature and humidity gauges… I always wondered how warm it was and I can adjust the air/heat in my house to keep it the right temperature. The monitor really eases my worries while I’m away.
ConnectedFamily was easy to install and use and I like that the monitor doesn’t use WiFi for safety. CryAssist is another high tech feature that we really like. It distinguishes between cries and helps me so I don’t have to go into the room as much as just hearing a cry and rushing in for everything. Very cool! Overall, I’m so happy with this monitor because it was easy to setup and has so many technical features other monitors don’t have.

I recently had the opportunity to test out the See Pro 360 baby monitor from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The cry assist feature is a game-changer, providing accurate alerts almost every time. The built-in music feature is a delightful surprise, especially for someone like me who has previously invested in separate sound machines. Being able to check on my baby both through my phone and the parent monitor adds an extra layer of convenience that I truly appreciate. Overall, the camera functionality is exceptional.
However, there was one aspect of the product that didn't quite meet my expectations. The plastic clips used to secure the cord to the wall required screwing them in, which meant multiple holes had to be drilled. As someone who prefers a less invasive installation process, this was a drawback for me. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall performance and features of the See Pro 360 baby monitor make it a valuable addition to any nursery
