I don’t write review unless I encounter something so amazing, or so bad I feel compelled to warn others. ConnectedFamily will regularly fail to load the camera feed forcing you to close and restart it. When it does it either takes upwards of 35 seconds (which is a long time when checking on a child), or fails to load audio. If both video and audio happen to work, something as simple as leaving the feed to view settings or another tab in ConnectedFamily will also cause one or both to happen. It also won’t send push notifications. These are the most basic, and important features, which it reliably fails to do. Regardless of what the manufacturer says, I can’t imagine any amount of troubleshooting or updates that will fix this awful product, and even further the trust/confidence that I no longer have in any dorel product. That’s also work the consumer should have to do, and wouldn’t have to do if this product was properly developed. In so many major details, I see lack of care in this product, even in the ac adapter which protrudes when plugged in, at best making it difficult to mount, worst being attractive for a child to tamper with for those may who are limited in outlet locations. They discontinued a product that save a few tolerable issues worked well, to roll out an all but unusable product line.
