The app will give you the QR codes you’ll need for officials to scan to confirm your COVID status. The app will use facial recognition technology to verify your identity using either your passport or driving licence. Your data is encrypted, held by NHS Scotland and only shared with the trusted parties needed to deliver this service. The app only uses secure infrastructure and services from security accredited organisations.

No matter how many times you put in you details, they can’t find your account. Hard to believe they spend 300,000 quid making this app

The step that asks you to verify your identity is broken. I tried several times on several different devices. Impossible to register and use.

Government stick to your usual old fashioned corruption and stay away from technology. What an utter waste of time. Probably the worst attempt at an app I have ever seen.
