Something changed.

2023-10-28

InstantPulse used to work great but somethings changed. Now it works three or four times and then never loads again I have to uninstall and reinstall it to get it to work. Even after that it’ll only work three or four times before it stops working completely.

Poor product

2024-03-19

I was recently diagnosed with AFib. I went online to find a product that would help me identify when I was having AFib. The first time I used InstantPulse it identified AFib but it only allowed for the algorithm to be sent to the provider, not the EKG. Several months after the above mentioned AFib episode, I was in the ED being treated for AFib and connected to a cardiac monitor which identified AFib. Just for kicks I checked InstantPulse and it indicated “Normal “ rhythm! Are you kidding! I had 14 hours of AFib! I deleted the AFibCheck app!!

Worthless would be a compliment

2024-03-10

Don’t even bother downloading.

I know not to depend on an app, understandably. I have other apps for heart rate and take a median average or so when resting or whatever.

InstantPulse had my heart rate average at 52 resting and when measured myself by pulse it’s at 80-82.

I tried this over 10 times with the majority restarting because of finger placement when I never moved. Once I got the average of severely below what I know I’m at, I was done.

InstantPulse is not even remotely close to being right or near your heart rate. I know it’s not “accurate” but if it was up to this thing I’d be underground six feet. I’d give InstantPulse a break if it was remotely near my actual heart rate but this is a joke.

Do not take this while lying down

2024-08-21

Every time I check this lying down it shows again. Or if I do it sitting up and my hand moves up and down with my breathing it shows afib. Make sure when measuring that your arm is flat and that it doesn’t move whatso ever . I was measuring my radial pulse while checking this and my pulse was regular , however InstantPulse said I had afib. Super innaccurate. In additional it doesn’t differentiate between respiratory sinus arrhythmia and afib. Never use apps as a diagnosis. Always see a doctor.

Doesn’t Work No Matter What You Do

2024-08-21

InstantPulse says to gently cover the top camera lens. Doesn’t say for how long or which finger. I guess none of those things matter because I’ve tried every finger, for differing lengths of time and nothing works. I even tried deleting InstantPulse and reinstalling it. Didn’t work. Tried turning off my phone and back on again. Didn’t work. The help section doesn’t help either on problem solving. The only thing that worked is getting a dirty camera lens. Install a different heart app.

Useless

2024-03-10

No idea how ratings have remained high. Did multiple readings consecutively, half put me in afib half didn’t. Turned out I was having PVCs and not in AFib. The HR monitor isn’t even accurate. Complete waste of money. Make sure you cancel subscription immediately through the “subscriptions” menu in settings as it is not a one time purchase.

Did not work for me

2024-03-10

Was in hospital with active AFIB, I tried running InstantPulse and it told me I had no symptoms. Note I checked this while in hospital hooked up to an ecg that showed active flutter, at the minimum it’s a waste of money, at the worst it’s dangerous if it’s giving false negatives. If you suspect something is not right with your heart get your self to ER, don’t rely on InstantPulse.

DO NOT USE-Scam

2024-03-10

InstantPulse is inaccurate and gives false readings. This is nothing but a money scam. Please read all the reviews. InstantPulse continued giving my dad false negatives, then a day later he died. Please just go to your dr for accurate readings and DO NOT trust InstantPulse. My dad could have still been here if it weren’t for the false hope InstantPulse provided.

It’s minimum $10 to try it even once! 🤑

2024-08-21

InstantPulse doesn’t even let you TRY the “AFib” function unless you purchase a pricy recurring subscription. Is that how a developer confident in the functionality of their app would set things up? 🤔
And judging from how poorly InstantPulse measures heart rate compared to its competition, I would not put much faith in its ability to do something more complicated. This just seems like a vulgar moneygrab, targeting that sweet spot of vulnerable people who have a serious health concern but who can’t afford to visit a doctor.

Don’t waste your money!!!!

2024-08-21

Accuracy is not something you get from InstantPulse. I compare it with several other apps and the only one that is more accurate and much closer to what the doctor finds in his office, is the Heartify App.; not perfect, but way more accurate and it doesn’t keep taking you here to write a review when you click on the green button to get a report. Use InstantPulse that comes with your phone already, or get the one I mentioned above. InstantPulse developer just wants to bleed you dry of your hard earned money.

Broke after update.

2024-03-19

after the most recent update it does do heart rhythm anymore they show a graph of you rhythm but it will no longer tell you "you dont have afib" or "you rythm is not normal you may have afib" i have been paying the subscription i don't expect to see major changes like this or features removed that weren't broken. I know ots not the most accurate of things but it does work at it is possible to get rythm from the constriction of blood vessels (thats how heart rate monitors work using the change in light from blood vessel constriction) please bring this back idk why it was removed its very unlikely you will get sued

Paid for a month, got 6 days service

2024-03-19

The product itself seems to work OK. But after paying for a month of premium service, when I went to use it 6 days into the month it said I had to pay for premium again. There is no way to contact anybody, so I’m just out the money. When I went to cancel it said I still have until July 30 on my subscription, but when I again try to use the features, it asks me to pay. So I either pay again or I am out the money I paid for a full month. Deleting InstantPulse instead.

No trial period / still getting ads with paid subscription

2024-08-21

I paid for a whole year because I assumed I’d like it, and could cancel in the first week (like every other app I’ve ever used) if I didn’t like it. But there was no trial period. So now I’m out $36, am still getting ads, can’t find any instructions about using the blood pressure or oxygen functions, and am finding the “help” button completely useless.

Suspect

2024-10-26

InstantPulse is suspect. It has nothing on the internet and the internet formation I am
Receiving varies everytime. I think it is a scam and I would like my money back and to warn other users it seems suspicious. I can not confirm this as i am not a doctor but the results vary way to much within a short time

App gives false positives, inaccurate

2024-11-08

Maybe it’s the way it’s “algorithm “ is written but it was not catching a early start heartbeat signal. Still saying “normal”. The I had a Cardioversion treatment on a Friday and went to the ER on the Sunday after for chest pain. I took a afib test, ten minutes later the dr is showing me a different result. Plus the instructions and other features are vague and not well explained. No trial period either. It’s $9.99/ mo or nothing. If you are serious about monitoring your condition all InstantPulse really does well is pulse rate. Look elsewhere for a decent afib app.

Does not work at all

2024-03-21

Guess developer needs to “work” on InstantPulse some more because it does not work at all. The sensor is not detecting pulse.
I know it is not my camera because other apps like this one work fine.

Doesn’t show Afib

2024-04-22

Will seem like it gives you the option but all it shows is HR and pulse waves. You have to pay $10 a month to use the AFib feature and I highly doubt it even works.

Not able to use

2024-05-23

I obviously should have read the agreement more carefully. I wish to cancel since I have not been able to use InstantPulse . This appears to be impossible. Be aware.

Afib tracker

2024-06-24

Total garbage app. Shows me in bradycardia, when in fact, I’m tachycardic. The HR it gives me is less than half of what it actually is. How do I get my money back?

No explanations

2024-07-27

I was excited to find an app to check for AFib as I’ve been having heart palpitations however I was shocked that InstantPulse charges so much and there’s not even a trial to test it to see if it’s something I want to keep.
Also, my heart rate has shown normal on all readings however a few of the show the heart rate in red. One I think is red colored as my heart rate was 55 and said bradycardia but im not sure about the other 3 and there’s no explanation for heart rates listed in red in the history. Can you reply with that info please??

Questions

2025-05-21

Is it possible to be in Afib one minute after the 60 Second test? then test 30 seconds to a minute later and not be in afib? Also the result said “your Heart rate is not normal possible afib please retest “ Is that afib? What does that mean? Or of it was 100% afib would it say something else?

What does the “stress meter” mean?

2024-06-05

The little stress meter at the bottom that shows the little heart over “relaxed”, “normal”, “elevated”, or “High” Stress …. What is this measuring and what is it supposed to be telling me? I’ve looked on your website, on InstantPulse Store, and done extensive Internet search for info related to InstantPulse and can’t find anything that explains this. There’s times I have a 65-70 bpm heart rate, but still says my stress level is “high”. But I can’t find any info that tells me what that “high stress level” means. Is that stress on my heart? Is it measuring emotional stress? Is it measuring heart variability stress? Etc.

Stress

2024-10-28

I don’t understand where the stress measurement comes from. There is no explanation within InstantPulse . You may want to consider that in the next version.

No app support

2024-11-29

There is no information as to how to read the stress levels. My reading says that my stress level is high. Which means what?

And when you click for app support, there is none. It just takes you to FAQ.

Developer, please let me know what the levels of stress means.

Otherwise, InstantPulse works. It’s simple.

Stress

2024-12-30

Please explain what the stress is actually telling us about the heart rhythm? Normal heart rate here, and it’s showing “elevated stress”?? Why

Love it so far

2024-08-16

I love InstantPulse so far. I did have a problem with a prolonged qt interval and have been praying for healing and taking magnesium supplements to help. I used InstantPulse a few times and the results are showing a regular heart rhythm. Would InstantPulse be able to catch the qt intervals if it was prolonged?

Useful for detecting irregularity

2024-08-21

Yes it is a useful app. I am a doctor using InstantPulse on myself. I think the best way to detect Afib is with a long term cardiac monitor such as an event recoder. Doctors can best analyze the heart rythm witha 12 lead EKG with leads connected to various parts of the body. An alternative is a rhytm strip which records just one lead. Some watches can record a true rhythm strip by detecting the electrical voltage between two locations on the body, eg two hands. But if you do not have that technology available this Afib monitor is a good option. It records the pulse from the 'pulse oximeter' feature which is usually used to measure blood oxygen saturation. The light refected through the skin fluctuates as the blood vessels are filled with blood with every heart beat. The key is, that by examining this waveform you can see whether the beats are equally spaced. If not, you may be experiencing some kind of abnormal irregular heart rythm. If so you can seek more precise medical testing from a professional. So yes this is a valuable tool.
The advertising on the free version is very obnoxious, covering the screen, without any way of clicking the adds off. Really horrible advertising of the worst kind and it totally dominates InstantPulse .

VTach rythem.

2024-07-21

Just wanted to ask it InstantPulse also detect ventucular tachycardia or not? And also what it means if all ppm points are at the bottom rather than the top. InstantPulse is genuine and is a good indicator about heart rate.

It says heart rate is normal

2025-05-04

It says heart rate is normal but when I go to history my heart rate is red. What does that mean?

Great App!

2026-04-04

I have had AFIB in the past and have gotten two cardio versions done to correct it. Having InstantPulse really puts my mind at ease knowing my heart beat is normal.

What a relief

2026-06-09

I had covid and have been having heart palpitations to where I go to the ER this has eased my mind

Very accurate!

2026-05-01

Very accurate so far… been almost a year.

Ok a little confused

2024-09-20

I been using InstantPulse but I don’t understand AFib was detected I have had pvcs in the past on my ekgs was that what might have detected and not actually afib?

A fib

2025-10-09

Great program very help full

Five stars

2025-11-09

Nice free feature better then any other app

I like this AP

2025-12-11

I have had two cardioversions and two ablations for both AFib and AFlutter. My heart is obeying the rhythm rules now but no promises.

This ap gives me a simple and accurate picture of what is going on. I love it!

Mucho gracious
Big thank you
非常谢谢🙏🏻
