Usually applications running local are better than the Web app. In this case, it’s the opposite the iOS app is lacking a lot of features that are in the Web app. No video no flagging if you even open up notifications, it freezes and reloads so multitasking is also a no go and you can’t select text to copy and paste, so you can figure out what drug it’s referencing. Other than that it is just fine for doing basic flashcards review.

Obviously an amazing study resource but Bootcampcom often has video loading issues. The website will load and play videos with no problem but I often have to wait several minutes to get a video to play on Bootcampcom , if it plays at all.

Boot camp for step 1 preparation is saving my life right now! BUT THERE IS ONE MAJOR ISSUE FOR THE VIDEO PLAYBACK WHICH IS HINDERING PROGRESS AND MUST BE ADDRESSED! Every time I select a higher playback speed and then pause the video for whatever reason or opt to move 10 sec forward, the playback speed sets back to normal, even though it shows it as being my faster selection! This means I have to select a slower playback and then RESELECT the faster playback and do it over and over again every time I pause to take notes. VERY VERY VERY ANNOYING AND TIME CONSUMING!! PLEASE FIX!!

MSB is one of my go-to resources for medical school. They actually the explain pathology/physio/anatomy and have short practice questions after each video/concept to reinforce the material. They also have board style questions. Their slides include all relevant high yield information to reference later, and the videos themselves are a great supplement as the presenters have a good understanding of the material and explain how and why things happen. I would say MSB is one of my top 3 resources for med school (I also use Amboss and Sketchy a lot, along with anking deck - which is free). I am in a pass/fail program and I think MSB really supplements class material and explains things thoroughly when lectures aren’t clear. They go beyond the buzz words. If you have questions or feedback, the team is very responsive and replies in less than 24 hours. Highly recommend this resource. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because Bootcampcom itself needs a way to adjust video speed. They have this on the website but not Bootcampcom - that’s the only thing I would change.

Bootcamp is great for short video explanations and practice with cadavers. They are lacking some features that would’ve gotten it 5 stars. For example, they say this will help you with anatomy practicals but they do not offer the option to do open ended practice. Also there is no ability to modify the practical exams to include the topics that I need. Otherwise love Bootcampcom .

a good app, but a couple things that need improvement

1) oftentimes i need to log in every time I open Bootcampcom
2) you can't speed up videos, which they should definitely change

Bootcampcom has almost all of the same functionality as the website, making it perfect for on-the-go situations. However, there is no option to adjust video playback speed, which I would love to see added in the future.

Really good app, but doesn’t sync my progress as well as I’d hoped when I open my account on another device like a tablet or browser.

I really enjoy Bootcampcom , they responded very quickly to my message asking about when some of the step1 content was going to be completed, and their videos are very good.

Been using this for my medical school courses as well as for board prep. Very helpful and direct videos, relevant questions, great explanations. Also, they are very quick to answer any questions you might have!

Bootcamp is very new, but they are making themselves essential for medical students. The videos are very high quality, but the real gem is the wealth of practice questions they have available. They are making my M1 year much more doable, and I wouldn't want to have to do med school without this resource. Bootcampcom works great as well!

Love Bootcampcom and the website, I only wish it was compatible/had a dark mode feature. I often get headaches and migraines but still try to study, and unfortunately the brightness when I study makes it worse.

Bootcamp is truly the resource you need to do well in med school. For those students that have schools teaching on a system based program, this resource will save you and make you learn everything. I will spend a weekend learning everything needed for 3 weeks and exam. Then then take there tags anti cards and do them for the rest of the weeks. I get ahead so fast and so easily, I have had to meet with the dean because they thought I was cheating. I had to explain to the school how I do well and the resource I use. Truly the best resource because I had by mistake convinced the school I was cheating.

I love Bootcampcom, it’s super easy to use. I used this to study for NCLEX and I passed in 85 on my first try! I love the case studies and the videos that teach you how to answer case studies. The cheat sheets are also great. The multiple choice questions have great rationales and pictures. I think this is a great resource for those who are taking NCLEX soon.

Bootcampcom is amazing I love it so much it’s very organized and easy to use. I would Really appreciate if they added a speed adjustment option for the videos. They have this on the website (letting you play the video at 1.25, 1.5, etc speed). That addition would make Bootcampcom perfect imo.

I’ve gone through a LOT of instruction sites, and there’s quite a few good ones out there.

But the breakdown for the answers here are the best. Specifically the case study videos. The woman that does them has a very deep understanding of the topics, and she’s great at breaking it down so that you can understand what’s going on

Bootcampcom is extremely convenient. Studying in the past I used to miss out on a lot of family gatherings due to having to be my materials in order to study. Having Bootcampcom on my phone allows me to still study the necessary material and continue to be up to date with the study schedule.

The bite questions are not saved on iPad. Which means you have to redo them in a web browser on a computer. Support informed me that it’s a feature not a bug. A properly working iPad app would be great because the device is very mobile, but not saving progress on questions is a deal breaker.

It’s helping me A lot and have a guide method to make your days fear easy. This is a long stressful process and Bootcampcom is the best to guide you; and show you the dynamic of the test. It training your brain and your knowledge. Thank you to all those great doctors who create it , and share this. I highly recommend to get Bootcampcom if you are planning to present the dental board INBDE. Truly this is the best idea and every penny that I paid for this membership have been worth it. ❤️

I absolutely have fallen in love with this platform. Detailed,concise, and organized. From the videos to the questions have been helpful with me achieving my medical goals.
