2 years agoI have certificat. It says valid. But the qr code is not accepted in restaurant. I am vaccinated 5 times. 3 vaccines. Belgian one is johnson for which i have a certificate. Covidsafe that does not work. No way to find out how to register my last 2 vaccination out of europe with astra zeneka.

Only certificates with itsme and on Belgian AppStore
The new version only allows to access certificates by logging in wit itsme. In the previous version it was also possible to authenticate over the government portal. This is very problematic, because itsme is only available on the Belgian AppStore, amd if you have a different country’s store, you mus switch to Belgium and lose all your content. Please put back the possibility to download te certificates with the government authentication.

Useless for this Belgian resident
Due to my work being international I don’t have my Apple ID registered in the EU. This makes using covidsafe app impossible from what I understand. If a large portion of a countries population can’t use this app I imagine it makes the overall performance of the app and the data it collects underperform. It doesn’t look like there are any plans to address this giant discrepancy.

Can’t do more complicated!
To make the app work need to download another one even more tricky and only available on the Belgian appstore. Why should I install Istme? eID login is safe and everyone has it already (sort of). I just printed my certificates and will uninstall the app. Bye bye CovidSafe! If u want average people use this app, make it simple.
