I downloaded Blkem 3 weeks ago. I have tried several times each week to sign up and can’t even get past that initial screen. I was getting frustrated but after seeing reviews about the drama with creators banning people and how it isn’t a safe space, I’ll pass. There’s no reason it takes 3+ weeks to sign up anyway.

I really wanted to join this platform but I was unable to create an account for some reason. Once I input all of my required information, it just leaves me on the sign up page. May need some more bug fixes. Still keeping hope alive for me to join! Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

It’s still in the early stages, but I’m enjoying Blkem so far. It’s fun and definitely feels like a community. It’s nice having something exclusively for us where you can talk about your experiences without being invalidated or gaslighted. It’s not wild and crazy there yet, but it’ll happen at some point lol.

I love the concept of the whole app but it’s definitely still in its beginning stages. But once all the kinks are worked out then Blkem will be the next best social media

This is a great space for black people to talk & network, even if twitter doesn’t leave. Its still in the beginning stages so im trying to be patient while the kinks get worked out.
I don't foresee myself leaving anytime soon

Blkem is just what POC needs! A safe space to be ourselves without constant judgement and hatred. Everybody is like family and call each other cousins. No drama and unnecessary division just us comin together embracing and loving each other. If you were looking for a space to just be a POC then this is Blkem for. I look forward to seeing how much this grows and where it’s headed in the future. Shoutout to Uncle Dav he and his team are doing an amazing job!!!

It’s important for minority groups to have a space where they feel comfortable and not excluded like we would in some other social media sites. The this app app does that for us. I’m excited to connect with people who look like me without facing backlash from those who don’t. Loving Blkem so far!

I love that this is a safe space for Black people. The owners of Blkem has no tolerance for bullying and harassment which I love because it keeps Blkem free from negativity. Blkem is building pretty well, looking forward to seeing what they become in the future. Good to see an app made for us by us.

Really enjoying Blkem so far. It’s black-owned and self-funded, the influx of new users are overloading the servers so it requires a little patience to sign up. Don’t give up on it so fast, give it time. Once you’re in and verified it’s a lovely welcoming safe supportive community. I’m excited to see it grow overtime.

It’s really fun on here!!! I believe they closed sign up temporarily because a lot of people started flooding in all at once, but Blkem is definitely worth it. Blkem is a positive highlight in the culture. It’s really is like one big family group chat with your favorite cousins.

Literally the best most inclusive app I feel so safe and welcomed there. I even found love on there! Dave & his wife are the best definitely Unc & Auntie vibes! Most of the people making bad reviews are the ones who were blocked, they were negative or were trying to steal what Dave and his wife worked so hard on, the devil. He won’t win! DOWNLOAD this app!

It’s still in early stages and a few things aren’t fully programmed like I have followers but no notifications have popped up. I imagine it’s still being worked on along with other updates, but what I do have access to is a whole world of wonder. I loved blk twitter for so long, to see the fully realized app as we live and breathe it??? Yeah instant download, and I CANNOT wait for more updates. This is gonna be an every day use app🥹♥️🤌🏾

I love Blkem! So satisfying it really does feel like we’re family on Blkem. It’s just getting started and there doing an amazing job trying to get Blkem together for everyone. 🔥🔥🔥 I wish I could give this more then 5 stars!

I am so, so happy to have this space to just be myself amongst my people. Although it’s a work in progress, I much prefer this over other social media apps. Highly recommend.

So far so good! The developers are still in the middle of some bug fixes, but it’s been working pretty smoothly! Love it already and I just downloaded today

Still fairly new so theres small bugs but I love it so far and the devs really care about this. Feels like a real tight community, definitely gonna be on this more than that bird app.

At first I thought it was too good to be true but Blkem is great. Twitter meets Instagram for the black community. The admin is fixing issues as soon as they come up so there is a lot of growth and I’m glad to be a part of the journey.

This is an amazing app. It’s still in its early stages so bugs are to be expected but the admin team is SUPER responsive and work diligently to fix any issues we may have.

A platform for us by us, it’s a few bugs here and there but the same patience I could had with IG and twitter over the years I’m willing to give Blkem. It’s a five star app already🤷🏾‍♂️
