Boba Story Reviews

As others have raved, the game is cute and chi. The design is great and I love the concept. The problem is that there isn’t much to do. If you are in any way attached to your phone and play frequently, you’ll max out all of the interesting parts of the game within a week leaving you with a repetitive cycle of processing orders and hunting down the only missing ingredient you need. My list of gripes is as follows:
- I have a million of every ingredient except the one I actually need, boba, because it seems like the game is rigged to not give it to me so I can’t progress in making recipes
- there needs to be employees who just handle food and advertising
- purchasing decor and additional items should improve the performance of your store
- the to go order feature is fun and I wish they came in more regularly with some kind of challenge attached
-more room is needed on the drink menu
- it’s pretty crappy that you can repeat recipes on the experiment table or field and just lose the ingredients instead of it saying “you did that combo already here’s your stuff”

This game is amazing so addictive I got to say how incredibly sensitive this game is to my ADHD also my mental problems! This game is very calming to my mom and my grandma that lives with us! My grandma got addicted my other grandma plays it in the nursing home and she got her nurse to play it when she’s giving me medicine in my head. Also my dad won’t buy me a Tesla so I cried my little baby heart out. But this game brought me through the depression l. So I would like to personally thank the creators of this wonderful game! Lastly I would like to talk about my Fortnite addiction, sometimes when I play to much my head feels like blowing up so I play boba story to ease my anxiety. The background music is great! My only complaint is the copyrighted soundtracks. My dog also licks the phone when she comes home from the pound! Sometimes I go to lululemon with my grandpa Jonathan Doug and he doesn’t buy me the pants I want so I have a freak out in the store but that’s ok because this game calms me. Gotta go my moms taking my iPod away overall 3 stars because my uncle stole my flip phone cause I was addicted. The audacity to take away boba story. Another complaint is this game doesn’t work in Antarctica.

A lot of the ads seem very racist, it doesn’t seem like they’re regulated or filtered at all.
Very questionable ads that are either very sexual, or downright racist. It ruins the immersion of the game. On top of that, the ads range from 40-80 seconds.

I love this game. Lots of customization and I’m glad that you don’t see the ads unless you click “watch ad” for a bonus/prize.

Still though, I prefer ads for terribly-made games over racist/sexual ads any day.

The game itself is very fun and enjoyable, the character design is very diverse and artistic, and I appreciate all the little details that went into this game. I love simple games like this, I must’ve played for over an hour today because of how entertaining it is.

The music choice for BobaStory works well, it adds to the immersion of it all, it sounds like the kind of music I hear at my favorite cafe.

I absolutely LOVE the concept of the garden and magic den. I think it was a good idea to include a sort of puzzle game on the side, that gives you permanent rewards for your boba!

Overall I love this game, it’s just the ads that really irk me and kinda bum me out.

Today I was at boba story and when I was making drinks for people online, it turned all purple and I could not see anything. I tried to reset many different ways but it was all purple. I can't not delete the game and download it again because I have to start my hard work all over again. This never happened to me before so please boba story, if you can fix this problem, I will give you 5 stars ⭐. Right now I am still working on it for a week. Another reason, I give boba story a 4 stars ⭐ is because when you buy the bakery thing, you have to refill them like why does the customers likes to ran out of food? I made 21 drinks. I do not understand why there is a long line for drinks and food like I get it,they are hungry but the workers barely helps but the only one that makes my shop a long line, he/she are the only one helping but the other 2 just does nothing.

So I feel like you guys should have the option to buy stars with me on money so people can get honey more and youBe able to get another worker that can like do the mini games for you for like a couple seconds like the other workers sometimes gets a time annoying when you are trying to do oneThe customers in the drink orders are leaving if they have a mini game and you did not them on time but either way the game is amazing and I love it and when you’re probably finished with all the ingredients in the it’s probably kind of boring so I suggest maybe like having a monthly like trinkets or stuff like that or like packets for like Fourth of July or Halloween and stuff😊🙃

so basically i loved this game there weren’t a lot of ads and i had a whole bunch of things. I bought everything i could that i didn’t have to unlock, i had food, i had the magic den, and i was saving up for the merchant garden. But i was showing a family member something on the game and it completely restarted it! I am so incredibly upset and am hoping this is just a glitch that can be fixed. But before this glitch it was so fun so personally without the glitch in mind i highly recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this game is amazing! I would first off like to thank the developers for not putting tons of ads everywhere. It makes the game feel very well made. The only time ads occur are when to speed things up, and if you really didn’t want to see any ads it would be fine. The art is very pretty, the custom drinks are great, and I really enjoy this game. But I am reaching the end of the game, and I would love another area to unlock. May I suggest an outside area? Anyways, this game is really good. Thank you dev team for making this masterpiece!

Love this game, background music is clean and doesn’t annoy me with the loop. Looked up online how to make the secret recipes, got things in the store updated and upgraded and then uninstalled because I had completed the secret recipes. This is a great game to kill a day and a half on. Which is exactly what I wanted. I paid a little extra happily because I liked it so much, thanks guys! I don’t see how you could make it any better. For those who are wanting more, quiet you. You completed the game too, didn’t you. You just want more to do. Time to mosey on.

If I could give this more than five stars, I would. This game was more than I was even expecting it to be. I saw this game on tiktok, and the second I heard that you could customize your drinks and have cute customers, I immediately opened the AppStore. I’ve played it everyday since. Even my boyfriend enjoys watching me play it! I also adore that it doesn’t require wifi to play the game! There’s so much customization, from the drinks to the decor! There’s so much creativity that can go into making the boba. If you’re interested in a game that’s relaxing, cute, and creative then this is the one for you. If you love boba tea, this is also the game for you!

At first my older cousin showed me this game it was really fun and I would play every night after school then when my summer break started I played more and more and I started to take breaks but still played and this game doesn’t have pop up ads and it’s free to play for everyone but it be fun if boba story added like another like space to unlock in the game and it could be like a gift shop section with plush bobas and dumplings for the customers but that’s all please check the game out its really fun!

i cannot express how much i appreciate the creators of this game. the artwork, the music and honestly, the entire concept. i’ve had so much fun playing this and the fact that it is an ongoing project with updates and additions as you play is amazing. i always get so excited when something new is added. it is by far my most favorite game EVER and i always recommend it.

i would love if we could also name our shop and have names for the drinks!! i actually have a sheet of paper next to my bed and i have named all my drinks and what i have put in there. it would be great if we had that and also if the toppings/ ingredients and teas were labeled as im making them so i don’t have to check the shop button each time. other than that, it’s just perfect. i’m wondering if i can speak to someone for these little tips/requests to see if they can be applicable.

Ok so I love this game soooo much and it’s so entertaining you get to make drinks you can name them now you can make them have backgrounds and they are just show up and everything is so cool and it’s so entertaining but there are some problems not necessarily problems just things that people may want endgame but I’m not sure but here’s what I think would be pretty cool and a pretty nice to add to the game: more people than just the characters we have as customers, instead of Jupiter, add more characters to with that, kind of in a way let us play with friends through contacts like where we can get on the icon picture thing and click on it and It will show us our contacts search the window, and then press on them then press invite not really play with you, but like you can see some of their drinks are names of stuff to take inspiration and stuff like that other wise I think this game is perfect also have a great day!!!!!!

This is a AWSOME game!! I am OBSESSED. I’m recommending it to ALL my friends. I’m sending all the support I can, and I hope you get rich cuze of this game. But I have tips to improve the game, If your. It to busy. 1. The ability to name your shop! Bonus points if you can choose your logo!!! 2. More minigames! It feels like it can get a bit borring some times, so I feel like that could help. 3. Maybe don’t say it’s 12+, since at the beginning you can say your age to get appropriate adds. I got this game after I saw a tik tok saying that it was ad free and customizable. The only ads are ads you choose to watch in order to get extra delivery orders, extra magic ingredients, or more customers at a time. I got all the ingredients and unlocked everything so I’ve redownloaded the game to do it all again. The only downside is that it’s not as fun once you’ve unlocked and customized everything because there’s no challenge of managing customers etc. This game has also helped me calm down when I feel anxious or I’m in the verge of a panic attack. This is one of my favorite games I’ve downloaded.

This game is super fun, me and my friend were looking for a game to play and decided to try it. We were instantly attached to this game! The characters are so cute, and it supports all different kinds of people by having a wide variety of characters. All the characters are different animals, they have different styles, they even have old and young people. They have ones in wheel chairs and some with canes. Some with glasses, and some without. Not only do you get to design your own bubble teas, but you get to complete online orders too! You can hire employees, and put out ads for more customers! You can even unlock an area where you get to merge items to make new ingredients! You get to decorate your shop, and expand! The best part about it, you only have to watch ads if you want to get something extra! This game is so fun, me and my friends are completely and totally addicted! 11/10 kinda game, perfect for all ages!

To start of, this is a lovely game! The characters are adorable and the minigames are fun! This game felt amazing after searching through multiple games that made you pay to actually get in. This doesn’t cost a single penny unless you do not want an ad. I will always recommend this game to anyone like me who loves adorable stuff and doesn’t have time to pay for games. This game is incredible and there’s so many things you can get! I recommend it and will never change my mind! Boba story is a very nice little game, and when you play it I think you really get the sense that it was made by people who are passionate about their craft. You are not bombarded with random ads, it looks incredibly put together, and if you do want a few more resources you can watch some short ads which I think is a very fair exchange.

The art style and animations may seem somewhat simple but they add a lot of charm. I really appreciate the details of being able to make so many drink combos and decorations. I also enjoy the sort of ‘random ingredient prize’ mechanic, although I probably wouldn’t play as much if I had just a bit less patience.

There’s not much to do once you’ve unlocked every ingredient, food, furniture, and lid, but all those things take a good bit of time. I’m also hoping for updates to come in the future, because I liked the latest Halloween one! I hope the people behind the game are planning more and receiving support for this wonderful game!

I was looking for a game originally and I saw this I really like cats and because of the photo on the front I downloaded it and played it for a second and told my friend to download it. She loved it too. The only thing is I wish they had more things you can do I already unlocked most of the stuff and I cannot stop playing. It’s so cute and fun, I don’t know if I’m just not far enough in the game but I want more VIP customers because I only have one right now. I don’t know if you can get more though just saying if you’re looking for a fun game to just relax and chill than this app is that game for you it’s so much fun, choosing the decorations and everything I looked at the creators in the other games. I haven’t played them yet, but they look fun, so I might download them saying how much fun I had playing this game. Some people may not like it though, but in my opinion, this is one of my favorite games on my phone! :D

I LOVEE THIS GAME. The art style is adorable and i’ve never gotten an ad randomly. Often i’ll download a really fun game but there’s so many ads that I have to delete it. However, in this game the only time you get ads is if you ‼️choose to watch them‼️for a reward!! My favorite part is definitely getting to customize the entire drink menu yourself, and there are soooo many options for drink ingredients that the options are endless :). Only complaint is I wish there were more choices for the design of the furniture but I don’t really mind since all of the given options are super cute anyways :3. I was just sitting in my room looking for a game to watch or play and this comes up on an ad and I’m like it doesn’t look too good but I’ll try it. I’ve been playing this game and it is amazing! The animations are so smooth and it’s completely free ads if you choose to watch ads, then you can watch ads, but otherwise it’s completely free and super fun! I’ve unlocked every single drink except every single Boba except the ones that you have to unlock it is so addicting and I’ve been playing it for so long I could play for days one time I played it for five hours and so that’s what got me attached right to this is recommended

I love this game so much, the characters, and frankly everything is absolutely adorable!! There are a few things i would change though. After you buy all the foods, and get all the lids, there’s really nothing you can do with the star currency, and there’s no point in collecting it. I would love if there was something i could do with it. I almost deleted the game after i got everything, because it just wasn’t fun anymore, but then this update came out and i play the game every day again! I love it when new items are added, and despite the things i don’t like about it, I really love this game!

This game is one of the best no WiFi games I’ve ever played! One reason is that this game is adorable and I love all the little characters. And I especially love the deliverables, the little comments after each online order make my day! ❤️Another reason is that of course, it’s free, no adds, and no WiFi needed! I play this game on planes or long car rides most of the time. This game can help pass a lot of time when needed, like a time warp! ❤️❤️ Boba story also has plenty of things for me to do like restocking treats, making new drinks, getting more money, experimenting, and more! I love this game so much. I really do. There are no ads unless you choose to watch an ad to promote. Also BobaStory does not need internet which is great! Also nothing is inappropriate and the characters are so cute. My favorite thing is that you can have different themes if you want or not and you can always change things. My only suggestion would be to add multiplayer game because me and my friends play this game together and she suggested that we should have multiplayer game. My friend showed me this game and i got addicted SO quickly, it’s adorable and i was never too frustrated with the pacing in terms of what i could/couldn’t afford at a given time.
In general, there aren’t many issues with the game as it is! One thing is that it can erase progress, maybe for older phones? My friend just had all his progress erased and has to start over D: otherwise i have no complaints
I’m very excited for updates! As it is, BobaStory is fun but pretty quick to “beat”— a new area, more experiment recipes (maybe for food?), an employee to take food orders, seasonal events— any of that would be really cool additions to the game moving forward. I’m excited to see what you come up with!
TLDR, awesome & adorable game, can’t wait for more stuff to be added!

It’s exactly like other restaurant games, but only 4 rooms. Nothing new unlocks. U just play mini games to make drinks, max out food and sell it to be able to make honey, make honey for the lids, and use coins for the fire, so u can experiment in the lab. Ask anybody, there are almost never any clouds to experiment with. I’m still missing the pink dragon topping and cloud topping, but got about 40-60 each of all other pieces. I maxed recipes w 1,000 in stock. I unlocked all the drinks on the board and every decoration. Nothing seems to trigger the clouds or a new area. The game is incomplete. I can’t do anything else and I’m still missing 2 locked drinks. It’s SO irking!

This game is amazing I have been playing it for a while now. I have everything in the including the new recipes. All of the new updates make it so much more worth playing. This is probably the only mobile game consistently play.

The only thing I think the game is missing is more employees to hire or for them to have random stats and you have to unlock them. This game is so much fun and amazing. Keep up the good work.

I was looking at BobaStory Store out of boredom and came across this game. I decided to download it and it got me addicted in the first few minutes! The art looks great, and I like the idea on how you could make your own drinks. Though, this game is similar, (almost identical,) to ‘Animal Restaurant’ where it is a good game where you can unlock decors, hire staff, and (soon to be in this game) a garden. It’s basically Animal Restaurant except aesthetic, I guess? This game is very fun, but after you unlock everything it tends to get quite boring. Maybe the game could use some events, like seasonal or side events, like unlocking a special topping or lid.

Overall, this game is very well developed and I can’t wait for it to have more updates and have a larger player base!

I saw your tiktok and wanted to support you immediately. I love your game, your aesthetic, and determination to create such a cute boba game. I would love to see more of a storyline with the characters or maybe a background about this fantasy world that you have created. Maybe there can be small daily objectives as well :) I highly appreciate how stress-free this game is. I don’t have to think hard to relax and enjoy the game. Also, is there a possibility to add little titles to see which each flavoring is called after you purchase it?? I saved up all of my coins, purchased all the flavors (and I mean ALL the flavors) at once and now I don’t remember a single thing 😅

I’m not a huge mobile game player anymore, and I usually can never find a game that keeps me occupied, but I can’t stop playing this game! The art, the sounds, the music, the characters, EVERYTHING is amazing!

I do have a couple suggestions to make it even better:

-Make more space on the menu! I’m sure lots of people have many drink ideas and they wish they had more room to store them!

-When you tap on a drink in the menu to change it, it would be very helpful to have a list of ingredients on the side (or anywhere) to show what’s already in the drink! When I’m trying to make a similar drink with the same bases, it’s hard to tell what’s already in it because some bases have similar colors.

-I got a lid from trading honey, which is great! But I ended up doing the same combination again, LOST 2 regular honey, and gained the same lid I already have. So I lost 2 regular honey and gained nothing from it! :(

-Getting items from the experiment table is a little bit tough, but it’s not necessary to change it!

Overall, a wonderful game and I play it everyday! ❤️

Hey so it’s me again but instead of a good suggestion review I will point out some of the worst problems I have seen and that means I’ve only seen one. Because the game for older model phones is crashing if you try to play and I have no clue if it happens to anyone else but me and my sister are having this problem so I haven’t even seen the new update but seeing the reviews I REALLY want to but if this problem continues I won’t even be able to play. I still give 5 stars because the game is almost perfect except for that one glitch. Hey I love y’all please fix thank you so so much!

I haven’t had this game for very long but I’m already in love and anticipating the next update with excitement. I love how you get to make your own drinks. The customers are adorable. I enjoy the experiment section and the custom to go orders. My only problem is that I’ll be doing other things in the game and then I’ll have like 30 customers. So to solve this problem I suggest that there be something like a closed sign so that when I’m doing other things I don’t have to be bothered by the customers. A wonderful and beautiful game this is I hope it prospers.

I really like it it’s very fun, everything about the game like the characters and how the boba shop is, it’s just really cool and the different designs for it and I like the different flavors and lids. Another thing I also like the mini boba games those are fun , but my problem with it is I got 1,000 leaves yesterday and I exited out the game and I went back on later and it didn’t save, and it just did the same thing a couple minutes ago when I was playing it idk why it’s doing that, but overall that little problem it’s a really fun and cute game

I am so obsessed! Everyday I cant wait to get home from work to make my little drinks! I am very happy with the game elements and the grind aspect of trying to get a certain syrup or pretty lid for my bobas!

If I could change something, I would ask for the option to name our drinks! That would make me really happy! Even if it was just a slot to put a name in at the end of creating the drink and the name being displayed when you click on the menu above each drink! I would deeply appreciate this being added! Found this game through tiktok and its SO fun and cute! I know its still in development and thats why I wanted to write down some things I wish were in it!

- None of the upgrades for your store actually increase speed or anything (specifically in reference to the drink making station etc). It would be nice if the better the counter the faster the drinks!

- I wish there was a way to hire staff to take orders/ do the games/ promote business”/etc. I think it’d be really fun if you could hire dif. Staff or if there was some sort of upgrade system for the store that makes those things easier/faster.

- It’d be nice if the menu items were organized by price when looking at the shopping menu. Its hard to search for exactly what I’m looking for.

Again, I absolutely adore this game and look forward to its further development! Props to the creator making something that is so unique!

Just 5 min into the game and I already love it. I saw your tiktok and I purchased it ahead of time and I’ve been waiting since. It’s so cute that you added axolotls. It’s very amazing and fun :)
Though, I do wish the toppings like cream cheese would be cheaper or can be unlocked later in the game because one of my customers already wanted cream cheese and it costs 200! So I found this game on a video( not ad ), it showed me how to play it and I was in LOVE I downloaded it ASAP and I already love it for the cuteness but the one thing is it needs a button where you can close and open the shop, change your workers outfits, also there is when I don’t have what they are asking for in the waiting area when you click it it should put a pop up to buy it instead of the character leaving the shop, Overall, I love this game!

I love this game. i just got it last night and have played it so much i almost have all the magic recipes. Which i have a problem with. The fire, after spending probably 50k leaves on it, it has not given me a single cloud, but then it gives me 34 frogs. Maybe a way to fix this is make the “randomness” a tad more fair. this is a large problem personally for me, as i am missing a small chunk of the recipes and due to this my customers leave left and right because i don't have ingredients i need clouds for. Besides this, the game is AMAZING. 10/10. Would recommend playing this today. Will write an email after this review for help, as i know they are not available to help much here.

I absolutely love BobaStory! It's so cute and so fun! I only have one suggestion. I have Mizu and when she brings people in sometimes I don’t get time to do the other things. My shop is always full and I don’t have time to use the experiment table. I just wish there was a way to give her a break or something because I don’t always want my shop full. I feel bad if I don’t serve them right away but when I do there’s no time for the other stuff like decorating! This is still an amazing app!

This game is one of the best games that I ever played and I like how the characters are drew they are very cute. So far I haven’t found any bugs in this game I really like the new update I also like that this game does not need WiFi so I can play it anywhere I want. 1. Task that you can complete to win things for the boba or money it could be in a gift and it could be random.

2. We could feed boba to the helper in the boba shop when they are tired every day we could play a mini game to win the boba so we can feed the helpers when they are tired.

3. We could leval up so we can go to different places to have more costumer in are boba shop and have like cute little places

Love this game smm I had since it only had the boba part and you were posting it on TikTok. I love all the updates sm but the only thing I found weird was customer yk get mad if they don’t get a specific thing they want so most of my drinks have variety of everything but you guys are also adding more lids and items so it would be nice to expand the boba menu which Ik seems unrealistic bc nobody has a million boba flavors at a boba shop i jus think it would be nice but besides that it’s rlly good 💗.

Okay, this has got to be one of the most addictive game! I cannot wait for more development within BobaStory game. From quick and easy come up with the game, to the adorable animal characters, and having fun making your own boba drinks with special ingredients! I love it so much 💕 Ended up getting boyfriend to download the game and even downloading it for my 7 year old son as well. Mind you , i’m like 28 years old. This game is really nice to take a break from reality, honestly! You will not regret.

I honestly love this game so much! It’s super fun to play and takes my mind off other things! In the beginning it’s a little dull bc you have to earn money and start up but once that’s going it’s super fun! The designs for the food and everything are adorable! My fav room is the magic room honestly! I made it frog themed and the items are so cute!! :)

I love this game so much, my younger sister has been playing this and I was like “what’s so good about it?” So I downloaded it and omg I’ve been playing it at home, before school, during classes, and after school! My favorite part is making the different boba. I wish there were more toppings and recipies. More rooms and an employee to serve the food because they will just be piled up waiting for me to serve them which I love so very much!!!

i LOVE this game. i never get obsessed with games like i have this one. i’ve never played a game that lets you be this creative without having to watch an ad every 3 minutes. NO ADS unless you choose to watch them.

that being said, i am a huge fan of the creators of this game and im SO excited to see what they do next to expand this game and make it more complex. i hope to see updates that include more challenges, expansions, and in depth game play. i wish there was another store front the the right of the food station where maybe you sell clothes and can design them to some extent, or something else added to that area! also hope to see more furniture options, as i’ve already bought all the furniture available after less that a week of playing.

I love this game!! And i played it so much that i completed the game! and it wasn’t too fast, and i didnt rush through it, it had good play time. i RARELY ever play mobile games to completion, i have an incredibly short attention span. But this one was so cute and i love the characters and the gameplay is easy and fun and not too time consuming. fun to play in the background of your day! THE BEST PART IS BEING ABLE TO CUSTOMIZE THE MENU 💕 you create the drinks on the menu yourself and that makes the game SO MUCH MORE FUN. they come and buy the drinks you made and making them is so fun! there’s so many options for topping and fillings it’s just great and i love the art. i’m deleting it now because i unlocked everything there is to unlock but i loved it and wish there was even more!!

I love this game its so fun! It looks so cool and it is! I was playing boba story once and my mom asked what i was doing and i told her that i was playing a game called boba story, and i told her what you have to do in it and a week later she downloaded it and got further than me!
It is so cool you can make so many bobas, recipes, lids, and you can buy stuff for your shop! You can make so many things and its just so interesting and entertaining!

My only suggestion though is that there should be something where you can friend people and visit their cafes and buy their foods and bobas. I also think there should be a avatar customizer and possibly a customizer to make your own characters for your shop.

Honestly this is my favorite game ever! It’s so cute and relaxing, and I love all the different combinations you can come up with. I do have some suggestions though. 1. I would love it if we could see our character and customize it, like choose the animal, color schemes, and clothes. 2. Could you add more customers? I love the current ones but I would love it if there were more species. 3. New drink bases and boba. Maybe you could add a regular milky drink base, and I would also like a lemon base and orange base. And for the boba, maybe honeycomb shaped and some rainbow shaped ones. Other than those suggestions I absolutely love this game and I think all boba lovers should play it 🧋🧋🧋🧋🧋
