Less images once connected

The images that are initially on display disappears after iPixelColor connects to your phone. This has been a known issue from 2 years ago. How is this not fixed yet?Really I only want the Sharingan eyes that are in the lineup once you download iPixelColor . This one and many others disappear after you connect to your phone. This is false advertisement if I say so myself. This needs to be fixed asap. No one else should buy this LED panel until this is fixed.

Well, I tried to go through app support

…but the entire site is in Mandarin/Chinese so I cannot navigate it. I’m not sure if this company’s app is also the manufacturer of the LED backpack I’m trying to use, but when using iPixelColor to connect to it, it immediately tries to update the firmware and then immediately disconnects and says update failed. There no obvious reason for this to happen, and I don’t know on which end the problem lies: iPixelColor or the backpack.

Needs lots of work

Release an SDK so we can write our own software.

In the Settings function, "clear screen" doesn’t clear the screen, it displays the splash screen.

The stored messages aren’t synced down when a new device accesses the sign.

There is no way to rearrange order of stored messages.

There is no way to edit stored messages. Delete and re-edit.

Many of the items in the gallery have odd wording/attitude for English speakers.

The editor does not support markup tags for text: you can’t highlight a single word.

No font size options.

The clocks are nice, but do we need nearly all of them to include a cartoon character? How about more simple clocks?

Can’t create our own simple clocks.

No documentation.

There’s a save button. Where are messages saved to? How are they loaded? It’s a mystery.

There are many more issues. Release an SDK.

Not impressed

Does not work as advertised. Music function does not allow Bluetooth sharing and your phone audio will disconnect from your vehicle. Once you leave the music screen on iPixelColor , the screen reverts to the date and time. Cannot link an additional screen. Very disappointed and will return product. The other animations seem to work but I have not tried leaving iPixelColor to see if it goes back to the default screen which seems to be the date and time.

Clean interface, missing functions

It’s a clean simple interface without ads or trying to upsell you on anything else however there are some issues.

Most pressing for me at the moment is that it does not appear possible to upload a picture from your phone’s album more than once. I gave iPixelColor access to my camera roll and selected a picture at random to test the import photo features and it worked pretty nice. But even after restarting iPixelColor and my phone I am unable to see that upload screen again. I see the picture I uploaded and then a box with a +. I have tapped all around that box and it never does anything. I tried deleting the picture from my programs list thinking that maybe it could only hold one at a time but this didn’t fix the issue.

Other things that would be nice is if you were able to reprogram the remote and control how long the images are displayed.

The physical remote as is seems pretty useless for anything other than a sign in the back of a car to communicate with other drivers. When you click a button the image or animation rolls exactly once and then goes directly back to whatever you’ve programmed it to do.

I received the physical product in exchange for a review and will need to submit it by the 25th of September 2025.

If iPixelColor developer can at least address the inability to upload photos issue it will positively affect my review.

App is not the same

As another user stated 2 yrs ago. Once app is connected all of the options are not available. The category selection is not there and the selection is very poor. Why has this not been fixed?! I would not recommend this product due to the limited selection.

Looks good but Won’t sync together

I have two devices to display eyes, but for some reason, I cannot get them to sync together. I would like for them to blank and move at the same time. The Bluetooth option would not allow me to sync them at the same time. How do I fix this and get them to sink together so that they can blink and move at same time? For this problem I give them three stars.

Not bad if you only have one

This is ok. Only 2 issues is you cannot control more that one at a time . Which is dumb. Also editing is hard and should be more user friendly ! Sending the both back since I can’t use them
The way I want to

See Activity on phone

I use your app to control the Led Matrix panel for car messages and eyes. Since the Matrix panel adheres to glass windows from the inside, it is always facing away from the operator. It would be an improvement to see on iPixelColor (phone) what is actually playing live since it can only be viewed from outside the vehicle or storefront window.

Cool but not all options there

Before you connect to your device there seems to be more images and two more options like games and project screen. After you connect those features are no longer there… I might of missed something but I cant find a way to get to those option. Is this and exclusive thing? And how can i find out more info on iPixelColor?

Seasonal Options

Used to be fantastic last year and had many seasonal options. If I would have known that they would be removed, I would have kept them in the program list and manually selected what I wanted to run. I was hoping for an update for Halloween themed options, but nothing yet. Hopefully Halloween and Christmas options will be coming soon

Downloads

It’s great at party’s and social events but it needs a feature to add the pictures taken to the phones storage because you can not share the pictures taken off of iPixelColor after you take them that’s the only thing that would make this a 5 star product for me

App Improvements

It would be really nice on the main screen if iPixelColor to have a power on / off feature rather than. Digging through menus. It would also be very helpful to have a timer feature that would allow user to set a timer for let’s say 2 or 4 hours then the display would power off.

Love it!

I have two working together to display eyes. I want to use some of the ones that are 2 eyes one device, but can’t find a way to split them so I have one eye one each device. I like the single ones too, but is boring after a while.

Perfect mobile DJ setup!

I’ve used this at dozens of major music festivals all over the US over the past year and it has enabled me to meet hundreds of brilliant people. The only thing I could ask for is live speed control, a flip horizontal image button and some blending or transition effects.

Great app minus one small issue

Fantastic app with one small issue but not severe enough to be less than 5 stars. iPixelColor is otherwise easy to use and intuitive.

In the program list, when you have a program in the first position, and another in 2, if you delete the first one, only 2 will be listed in iPixelColor , but whatever was in the first position will still cycle through when first powered on even though I deleted it. I’d like to see the positions move up (example: programs 1 and 2 - delete 1, then 2 becomes 1 instead of staying 2).

Zoom And Speed

Needs Better Zoom In The DIY Editing Section, For The 1762 Length One Anyway, And Needs A Speed Adjustment In The Settings Instead Of Having To Copy It, Put It As A DIY, And Then Have An Adjustment That You Have To Exit Every Time You Want To Adjust It!
Minor Connection Issues… Could Stay Connected Better!
Other Than That, These Have Been Great! The Eyeball Sections Look Amazing At Night In My Semi Truck!
Even With The Issues I Give Them And iPixelColor 5 Star!

Word size

great app, the only problem is that out of no where my letters got to big and it won’t let me fit a simple 4 letter word in screen anymore, it always leaves out the last letter. How do I fix this

Cool app & flexible screen.

Developers : Please add video/ gif to animation support in iPixelColor . I misunderstood and thought it already had that ability. That would make this device way better.

Awesome for your let hat

iPixelColor only works with your led hat, But it’s awesome you can make it say whatever you want Ang color even rainbow, you’ll like it if you love your hat!

Don’t forget it’s free and works with any hat any color, it’s really fun 🤩 5*
