Burrn does not work except for text messaging. The phone calls go straight to voicemail & there is no support available. I did get one nonsensical text message back when I texted their help number & got no response from the emails that I sent.
The whole thing quit working after the free trial even though payment for a subscription was made. Again no response from support. And no directions on the website or app.
And the Burrner app charges a monthly or weekly subscription $12.99 week or $24.99 for the month & for coins ($13.99 for 1000) that are needed for both text messages & calls. I went through over 300 in one evening with messaging just 2 people back & forth a half dozen times.
That said, this was my first attempt to use a second number app & so I would have probably stuck with it had the call feature even worked or anyone had responded with anything that made sense.
I signed up for the Burner app (green phone icon-don’t get these two mixed up, the name difference only being one letter difference) last night & it seems to work MUCH better.
The Burner app has a test button so that you can test calls coming in. Super easy to sign up & was only $4.99 a month. No problems with messages but haven’t made or received call yet. I would recommend starting there though as it’s an unlimited call/message service with no ads.
