Needs a lot of work

Purchased a SNOOBIE since the baby transitioned out of the SNOO and I wanted to get the same sounds since our hatch doesn’t have the SNOO sounds. Wellll HappiestBabymakersofSNOO for SNOOBIE is terrible. You can’t do anything on it. It only wants you to create a routine, but that function won’t even work. It gives an “action can’t be completed, please try again” message. If this setting worked it would still be a subpar app. I would like to be able to turn the snoobie on with HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , change the volume, change the colors change the sound, in real time. I have to physically walk up to the SNOOBIE and change it myself. All these capabilities existed on the SNOO app for the SNOO so I’m not expecting some magic app. Very disappointed in HappiestBabymakersofSNOO. It’s pointless to have it since I can’t even set the routine! The developers need to do more to make HappiestBabymakersofSNOO good enough. 0 stars.

So Frustrated

This new app has terrible UX compared to the original. The basic functions I need from HappiestBabymakersofSNOO are now multiple clicks or just gone. I want to see when the last nap ended, down to the minute. It used to display that immediately upon opening with a little time callout for specific events (start, stop, level increase). Now I have to navigate to the log, open, zoom (removed the double tap…really??), and scroll all the way back in time to see when the last nap ended. I also would like to see what the longest sleep was for the day/night because the whole point of a snoo is to help elongate sleep times. I don’t even know where to find that info anymore. It used to be on the bottom of the main screen. On top of all this, they are reducing functionality for only premium members. I will get this feature for 9 months and that covers my time that I’ll need it. But it also sends me a very strong corporate greed message which puts a very bad taste in my mouth. I understand providing a premium option. BUT. Put the weaning mode, level lock, and responsiveness back in the basic app function. That is the whole reason we spend lots of money on this bassinet. For those functions. What you’re now doing is bait and switch.

Newest version is glitchy

Major issue: In the old version of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , you could tap “daily” and double tap to zoom in on each session. Now the “daily” view is very glitchy (everything flashes then disappears) and you can no longer zoom into each session to see details. I have to go to the chart screen, click “log”, then click “zoom” in order to view sleep details.

Less major issues: The new features for logging need work. You should be able to enter a start time and end time for sleep sessions, rather than just a start time and duration. I’m not always sure the duration of the nap and have to manually calculate it in my head. Additionally, you should be able to set a start time and then click “timer” and the timer should adjust to the duration based on the start time. If the developers would like users to use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO instead of huckleberry, they should mimic the timing functionality because it’s more intuitive. Lastly, you should be able to click on the time blocks in the weekly view and see the durations/details. Overall, we want to see the details of the time blocks not just the static chart.

Serious flaw with recent update

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO updated recently to add on all these extra things like logging feeding etc (i already use other apps for that and am satisfied) .. but since the update, I ‘ve had problems connecting AND problems with accurate timings of my baby’s sleep. I used HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to trade his sleep cycles and it’s especially important now that we have started sleep training. I don’t close HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , just “minimize” it …. I also have the background app refresh toggled ON, but when i go to check on my baby’s length of sleep, the timer starts all over. I check the data log and it shows an end to a sleep cycle that hasn’t ended yet. This is beyond frustrating bc I need to know how long he’s been asleep and I can’t even trust HappiestBabymakersofSNOO that is connected to the Snoo? Also. It happened to me 4x already .. the Snoo will disconnect a turn off completely in middle of the night which wakes the baby or doesn’t help him back to sleep — which is the opposite of what this bed is supposed to do!

1.8 version of the app is really bad (iOS 17.3.1)

I cannot zoom daily time sleep anymore , also the sleep time becomes blank when scrolling between days, the main features are broken and UI and functionality of the new features are not good compare to other similar apps . Example: when Im breast feeding I just add 1 s in other apps to track the time when I was breast feeding, but in SNOO app it does not allow me to save less then 1 min , why ?! I don’t need to save time for all breast feeding time , I just need to know approximately time (example 3 hours ago, but I don’t care how long I was breastfeeding). If you don’t have QA Engineer, please hire someone. I’ll remove the review once HappiestBabymakersofSNOO becomes normal again. I wish to have an opinion to downgrade it. Please run a beta version of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO somewhere before roll it out to all users . Just very obvious bugs and someone decided to push it all users.

Horrible forced changes

They forced us to move off of the old Snoo app, which was perfectly fine, onto HappiestBabymakersofSNOO, which is horrible. I've been using it for over a week now and can't stand it. It takes several clicks to see specific details from a sleep session, which is the only thing you actually want to see from the snoo. They are trying to replace other tracking apps like Huckleberry but haven't provided something comparable so I still need to use those apps but now can't even get the sleep info I need. The last thing you want to do as a sleep deprived new parent is spend 5 minutes searching for to timestamps. I have no idea how they let this roll out. Extremely frustrating.

App is Garbage

App will not connect reliably. Does sometimes, not others. DO NOT make the mistake I made and delete the original app, because it is no longer available in App Store. How disappointing for such an expensive product. Also- I emailed their customer support 3 days ago about this issue and haven’t heard back. Not like I’m relying on their product for my infant’s sleep or anything. What a waste of time, money, and sleep!!!

EDIT: after four days of waiting for a response from customer support I was emailed back and told to delete HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and reinstall it. What a joke. We’re dealing with infants here. Not remotely acceptable for a bassinet that cost so much.

Garbage App

Absolute garbage. Remember when we used to have the SNOO app and it worked perfectly because it was simple and easily let us know the times that our baby slept or was being soothed? Well, too bad! Now we have this garbage app instead which is trying to do too much. Message to Dr. Karp: just stop. get some help. don’t try to overcomplicate this. We want an app that shows one thing: the horseshoe arc with specific, visible time stamps where we don’t have to click through anything. Stop trying to revolutionize baby tracking, we’ve got Huckleberry for that. Just stay in your lane and bring back the SNOO app. I’m tired of this…

Unable to control snoo

I updated app to latest version and we are still unable to properly control snoo settings. There’s is a large and unpredictable lag to connect to snoo, and also between clicking level up/down, lock and pause from HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to seeing it take effect on the snoo. There’s no proper feedback on any of these buttons to see if command was sent or not from app. We have to repeatedly open and close HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , try again and sometimes on a different phone. All in all in can take up to 10 mins to simply lock the snoo level. This is completely unacceptable as this is basic functionality and the quality does not live up to the price point we are paying for this crib. I am extremely disappointed and plan on returning the snoo

Many updates later, Still garbage

They added a shortcut to the log “parents love so much” yes, I “love” being able to see the basic data of how long my child’s current session is or when their last session ended. Oh never mind, I still have to “zoom” and click around a bunch to be able to see that. This company does not know or apparently care what parents like. I loved being able to EASILY see the most important details about my child’s sleep and I still can’t. Why they can’t admit they messed up and let us use the Snoo app again, I’ll never understand. I guess they like upsetting customers who will then not recommend their product to friends. Bold strategy. I’m sure it will work well for them.

if it ain’t broke don’t fix it !!!!

this new app was SO unnecessary! Who in charge allowed this horrible app to be released way too early? The old snoo app was working just fine! No one asked to track feedings with the snoo. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is very glitchy and log shows up blank until you swipe back and forth. The developers have responded to many reviews saying to double tap the log to zoom in and now they removed that feature and added a zoom button which is not intuitive in the middle of the night. The worst part is how often I open my app to change the levels to get “can not connect” even though I am a foot away in my own bed. Very angry customer for how much the snoo costs. This was a huge miss happiest baby!!!!

WiFi button broken and zero help from Support!

Our SNOO could not connect to the Happiest Baby app. We tried every single step that we could find assuming that our router wasn’t compatible, the SNOO was too far from the router, software issue, etc etc etc. Rebooted the SNOO and made sure we had the most updated app at least 100 times. Customer Support was beyond useless.

We found out the actual WiFi button was broken and the WiFi would never connect due to a hardware issue. The only way it would connect to HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is when I would lay under the snoo and physically hold the button in.

We (and our two sons) love the SNOO, but for such an expensive product, you would expect the WiFi button to work appropriately. Customer Support told us to “duct tape a piece of gauze or cotton ball to the button so that the wifi stays on.” ABSURD!

New app version is utter trash

I loved the snoo, it was/is a godsend especially
In the early days. However I was forced
To update as HappiestBabymakersofSNOO stopped working, and wow, the new version is garbage. First of all, why would you make it ugly? The last version was pretty, functional and easy to use. New one looks like something that was on HappiestBabymakersofSNOO Store in its infancy(pun intended). You added tracking feedings and diapers, poorly I might add, which is completely unnecessary as we already have huckleberry, which is far superior. I suspect you added those “features” to help soften the blow that we now have to pay for weaning mode. Which we will not be paying for. I will not be recommending this product any longer.

Not Great for Snoo Users

I have a Snoo and am disappointed with the new app. Put the log on the main screen, put the current sleep AND longest sleep on that same screen. And longest is defined by time in Snoo - NOT time between up-leveling. That is completely unhelpful when figuring out how long baby has been sleeping at night. How long since last feed aka - how long has she been in the snoo? Snoo is going to make you go three screens deep to find out. By making us click through multiple screens to dig for the info we want - HappiestBabymakersofSNOO was clearly not designed for sleepless frustrated parents at 3am. To find all the info I want, I have to view multiple different screens - put it all in the same place. Or make it redundant on all the screens. Its ridiculous. Also, the “zoom” feature doesn’t auto-update with live data. How hard could that be? HappiestBabymakersofSNOO should be designed with parents in mind that need fast data at a glance, and that is the opposite of what it does. Most people use the snoo for 6 months, but only track diapers, nursing, etc. for a short period of time after birth, if at all. So make the snoo part the MAIN info and focus. Also - the data takes forever to load. Never had that issue with the old app. Oh! And bring back the time stamps - we all used that! Again - critical info at a glance.

Bait and switch

Disgusted that your company has decided to charge for HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and some of its most basic functions. Your product is prohibitively expensive for most people, and even those who can afford it consider it too expensive to be worth it at full price. Many people buying the Snoo full price only do so because they know (or knew) the Snoo had decent resale value or would be used with a number of kids in a family and extended family. You are not making up for secondhand sales by charging so much for HappiestBabymakersofSNOO - you are simply losing customers in this market because they now know they won't be able to ask as much for the product at resale and they can't afford to buy it otherwise (it's disgustingly expensive as it is).

If sustainability truly necessitated a change, you should have gone about this more intelligently and strategically: (1) Charge a more reasonable amount for premium features (perhaps $5/month or $20 for the year); (2) only charge new customers who didn't already have an account login prior to your announcement; and (3) reduce the price of the snoo so you can sell more of them (actually bringing in new customers). You're current tactics will reduce your overall customer base, lose many previously loyal customers, and encourage legal action against you.

Bugs in App and now required to pay

It’s beyond disappointing to pay $1700 plus dollars for a device that then suddenly requires a monthly subscription to meet basic functions such as motion lock, responsiveness, and weaning mode—these have been long time features and are nothing new. Furthermore HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is not user friendly at all. Want to know how long baby has been in the Snoo for a particular session—good luck you always click through three different screens that don’t always work. Too many clicks on HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to get basic information and not user friendly for parents in need of quick information (how long baby has been in snoo not how long the snoo has been in a certain mode.) HappiestBabymakersofSNOO also doesn’t often display the logs without zooming in and instead of being able to click on a session after zooming in you have to scroll to it. What makes this more maddening is reviews from the beginning of this year have similar complaints re user friendliness with the developer responding. So we have a company that is aware of issues for close to six months does not address them and instead is now charging for them.

Would not recommend the Snoo given HappiestBabymakersofSNOO subscription requirements and difficulty in accessing data in HappiestBabymakersofSNOO .

Premium App? Are you kidding?

As if this company doesn’t have enough money from the enormous price tag of the Snoo and Snoo Sacks, now they are charging a premium for their app for second hand users? I have absolutely loved the Snoo up until this point but charging for basic functions like weaning mode and motion locking is absurd. Adding a subscription to use almost all the features that make the Snoo the premium product users, including second hand users, are paying for is just greedy. Losing these abilities without paying $20 a month makes me feel like recommending a cheaper competitor bassinet that has no app at all. Perish the thought that people are able to sell their Snoos to friends and family or let people borrow them like all other children’s items. Most people aren’t spending $1700 on something to only use it ~6 months. I’d not be surprised if this turns people to competitors. Last thing new parents need is to remember another subscription they need to cancel when they’re sleep deprived and desperate for anything to get a little extra rest. It’s all about the money after all, isn’t it?

App so bad I’m telling people not to get a SNOO

It is mind boggling how bad HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is. You can’t customize anything. Your child has their own unique sleep habits, but Happiest Baby refuse to acknowledge that and force everyone to use the exact same leveling system. Would you like to automate the process of locking the snoo to certain levels? Too bad, you can’t. You have to lock it each time. Need to prevent anything above the 1st level? Can’t. Need to have the SNOO start out doing nothing, then begin moving when your baby is unsettled? That isn’t possible either.

Their customer support also never responds to you. Good luck! Our money is theirs now!

Buggy App is now rebranded as “Premium”

What is my favorite premium feature for this buggy app?

Is it the sleep log that never shows up unless you zoom in on it or deselect the day from the calendar?

Is it the default shortcut screen that shows instead of the actual SNOO controls?

Is it the buggy sound that sometimes doesn’t change volume until you restart it?

Or maybe it’s locking weaning mode behind a paywall so that you have to pay to transition your child out of the SNOO?

Happiest Baby’s plan of rebranding previously included features as premium, telling us that they have “allowed” us to use their premium features for free, and then locking them behind a paywall while ZERO improvements have been made to HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is just a disgusting cash grab.

Whether you buy a SNOO new or used, you are buying into their ecosystem. You’re buying SNOO swaddles, sheets, risers, and whatever else you need. But that’s not enough for Happiest Baby! They want to take advantage of sleep deprived parents and milk them for even more money.

The worst part of it? When you contact them to voice your concerns, they send you a form response about helping hospitals and veterans and wanting a SNOO to be free for everyone! Just not you. Or the hospitals. Or veterans. They have to pay too. Insurance has to pay too. You’re not doing this for free, we all know that.

Trying to grab more cash while saying is for the veterans and hospitals is gross. What a disgusting company.

Disappointing Subscription Model Ruins Expensive Product

As a new parent who invested in the Snoo Smart Bassinet, I am extremely disappointed with Happiest Baby's decision to introduce a costly subscription model for access to basic features. When I purchased the Snoo, I was under the impression that all of its essential functions would be included in the high price tag. However, the company has now implemented a $20 monthly fee for features that were previously available to all users.

This feels like a bait-and-switch tactic, as there was no mention of potential subscription fees when I made my purchase. The additional cost is excessive, especially considering the substantial upfront investment in the Snoo itself. It's frustrating to feel nickel-and-dimed after already spending so much money on a product that promises to help sleep-deprived parents.

Moreover, HappiestBabymakersofSNOO itself is poorly designed and unintuitive, making it difficult to navigate and access the features I need. The introduction of the subscription model has only added to my frustration with the overall user experience.

I strongly urge Happiest Baby to reconsider this subscription model and provide access to all basic features for customers who have already purchased the Snoo. Until then, I cannot recommend this product or app to other parents in good conscience.

Scam

App was developed without user in mind. One would think the most obvious thing a parent wants is for HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to tell you when your baby last woke up
So as to track wake windows … nope!! I have to go into the log then click zoom to find this info.
The new app also has way too many extras/clutter when all the user wants is to use the snoo as its intended - for sleep!!

This company is spreading itself too thin and now charging for a premium subscription!?? $20/mo! Please find me a parent that’s buying that. I bought the snoo brand new with plans to use it for multiple children. I never would have bought had I known HappiestBabymakersofSNOO subscription business was going to be happening. the ppl that bought their snoo before should be grandfathered in. If ppl wanna buy the snoo knowing you’ll have to pay a boat load for the snoo PLUS pay for a monthly subscription… then let them have at it!

Already super expensive now we have to pay to use it!

As if we didn’t already have to spend almost $2k on this bassinet that takes a lot of work to figure out and also get your baby adjusted and used to, NOW the company wants to get even greedier and start charging to use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO the way it’s intended with customizing responsiveness, the start level, sleepy sounds, weaning mode, and car ride. All of those things should be a given with how much we already spend to buy the SNOO. This is ridiculous. The company probably did it because of the resale of the item on places like Facebook and Poshmark, so they need to figure out a sneaky way to bring their profits up by minimizing the benefits you should get with just buying the SNOO! Smh. Lower the price of your bassinet if you’re charging for the majority of the good things in HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and what parents NEED in order to use properly. Greed!

The app is terrible in the first place, now you're charging an exorbitant fee?!

I saved up and bought a Snoo for my first baby because I (used to!) need 8 hours of sleep a night. I watched all the videos, read all the reviews, and mostly justified it by knowing I could also use it for all future children.

When I first downloaded HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , I couldn't see the sleep log. I contacted customer service and got a form response saying it had been received. A few days later, I received another email saying my help request has been closed. I researched it online and found you have to give permission to share all your info in order for you to see the sleep log. How (not) nice!

So now we're finally in the swing of things, and there's an announcement that this greedy company will start charging for some services at some point in July 2024, but no one knew which ones. Then we hear it's $20/month to use the services already on HappiestBabymakersofSNOO - there's no new services that might deserve a new monthly fee. What a cluster.

I have never thought HappiestBabymakersofSNOO was very user friendly (every new user wants to be able to change the motion limiter to stop at Level 1!) and now I will never recommend this company or any of its products.

Disappointed with this company

As a long-time customer of Happiest Baby, I am deeply disappointed with the direction the company has taken with its recent changes. The forced shift to premium subscriptions has been nothing short of frustrating. Features that were once part of the standard package are now locked behind an additional paywall, significantly reducing the functionality of the products I've already invested in.

It's disheartening to see a company that prides itself on supporting parents choose to prioritize profit over customer satisfaction. The decision to disable previously available functions unless we subscribe to a costly premium service feels like a blatant cash grab. This move not only undermines the trust we've placed in Happiest Baby but also imposes unnecessary financial strain on families.

I urge Happiest Baby to reconsider this approach and restore the value and functionality of their products without forcing customers into premium subscriptions. Until then, I cannot recommend their products to other parents.

Paywall for an already luxury item

I purchased a SNOO as a first time mom and was excited about the level of customization that came with the device. However, the most recent app update now puts 90% of the features of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO that were previously free, behind a paywall. When paying $1000+ for a luxury item, it is insane to then have to pay an additional monthly subscription to use features already built into the item. Sure, you can still access the basic features for free, but any semblance of customization is now unavailable; even to those of us who were using HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and device prior to this change. There was no grandfather system put in place for those of us already using the device which very much feels like a “bait and switch” sales tactic. The company has previously responded that the subscription is due to the amount of app support needed for folks who purchase the SNOO second-hand, which I think is a cop-out response. I have a very hard time believing that the profit margins on such an expensive item cannot reasonably cover the cost of the increased app support. Do better. I will not be recommending this device to any of my fellow mothers given this change by the company unless the need for a premium subscription is abandoned.

Peak Price Gouging

BEWARE: the latest app versions will remove most functionality from the snoo unless you pay the subscription fee. To recap, in addition to paying a copious amount for a bassinet, you now have to pay a monthly subscription fee for it to be basically usable. I mistakenly took the advice from some folks to buy this contraption as a first time parent. Am I recommending you don’t buy this contraption? Yes. But wait, isn’t every kid different etc etc? Sure, but note that if you’re an iPhone user and reading this review your average income is around 53k (the average of the normal distribution at the time of writing); and the value for dollar spent, I would conjecture, is no longer worth it, at these insane levels. Raising a kid (at least in America) is already a monumental financial burden that many of us can barely afford, and greedy corporations such as these employ monopolistic practices to extract every dime. Look the other way — the vast majority of children born on earth have done perfectly ok without overpriced smart bassinets. I wish I trusted my instincts on this earlier, don’t make my mistake (unless you do have a lot of disposable income, in which case go right ahead, it might be worth the value for you).

Greedy pigs at happiest baby

We bought our Snoo used for $900 and have used it for years. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO update remotely removed half of our user settings randomly one day and we were in the middle of weaning our baby. They remotely removed most of the most basic functions for controlling movement settings on the Snoo and we have a sensitive sleeper. I honestly cannot even believe it is legal for them to remove the basic settings and put them on a paywall. They literally force you to buy into the ability to operate the Snoo as the very basic functions are considered “premium.” HappiestBabymakersofSNOO functionality is terrible. As if spending hundreds of dollars is not enough? Messing around with my baby’s sleep without my knowledge is a step too far. I used to recommend Snoo to my friends but after them forcing us to use our Snoo by paying more $$, we are so upset that I honestly would not even recommend this bassinet anymore. It is just not with the price, especially with the added in price now of paying to use it. How can you trust a company like this? What is stopping them from updating their app and forcing you to pay them more $ just to turn it on? What a bunch of greedy pigs.

Crazy that the app is now paywalled

My baby was born in April and since then I have watched changes come through HappiestBabymakersofSNOO - including the fact that you must now pay to use basic features. For example “weaning mode” is now a paid feature!! I think that is absolutely absurd considering the price of the snoo itself. We are a huge fan of the snoo device but HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has always been buggy and mediocre at best; and now ANOTHER expense! I am so genuinely disappointed and disgusted that this change has been made. At the very least, weaning mode should be included in the “free (thousands of dollars for the snoo device)” category. Update! I just realized they also paywalled the sleep log!! HAH! This is ridiculous! HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is awful and you have to pay for awful! I work in software development and this is a sad sad excuse for a piece of software. I will no longer be recommending the Snoo. I’ve also noticed HappiestBabymakersofSNOO rating somehow went from 2.2 stars to 3.7? Something fishy is going on, most reviews are 1 star. If you google it, it says 4.4 stars! LOL. These people are liars and cheats.

Disappointing

I am really disappointed by the Happiest Baby app and overall price gouging targeting new sleep deprived parents. I purchased a SNOO while pregnant and was excited about all the features. However, the most recent app update now puts 90% of the features of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO that were previously free, behind a paywall. When paying $1500+ for an item that can only be used for 3-5 months for each child, it is insane to then have to pay an additional $20 monthly subscription to use all the features already built into the item. When I ordered the Snoo in spring 2024, there was no mention that a monthly subscription fee would be required to access all of its features. The additional cost significantly increases the overall price of the product and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. This change has greatly diminished the value of the Snoo. If you’re considering buying a Snoo, be aware of these unexpected ongoing costs. Frankly I would have bought another smart bassinet if I had known this subscription change was coming.

$20 a month for app - BEWARE

I’ve used snoo and their products for my first child and now with my second. I woke up this morning outraged as the normal options in HappiestBabymakersofSNOO are locked because I’m forced to pay $20 a month. I can’t lock the snoo level, I can’t put it on wean mode. I was given NO warning of this change. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO doesn’t even work well, half the time it says it’s on a different level then the snoo really is. And like others have mentioned, it’s very annoying when you want to see the times your little one went to sleep. You have to click through so many screens. Stop trying to make HappiestBabymakersofSNOO overly complicated. It was simple before and it worked well. Side note, I would never pay premium for HappiestBabymakersofSNOO for the tracking features and advice. There are plenty of other apps that can do that for free. Please make the normal functions included in the “free” app. And you shouldn’t charge people who are already users and $20 is very steep. If I knew HappiestBabymakersofSNOO would be $20 I would have gone with a different brand.

Messy, Glitchy, and Ugly

So much has been said about the corporate greed of now charging “premium”, and I agree with every last bit of it. The most frustrating part is that HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is ugly, difficult to use, and constantly glitching.

I was a huge fan of the SNOO app. It was user friendly, never gave me trouble. I loved the time stamps and the easy to read interface. Now, they’ve removed the easily visible timestamps and you need multiple clicks to make sense of it. They’ve added the features to log diapers and feedings, and kept the old log view, with different colors, and it is horrendous to look at. Other apps, such as Huckleberry do a MUCH better job at logging, and their premium actually offers something greater, such as analyzing your sleep logs and providing suggestions for nap time. There’s nothing “premium” about the premium HB subscriptions, it’s literally forcing you to pay for the most basic features of the product. It’s infuriating to use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to connect to WiFi. My log often doesn’t make sense,

Nothing in the bassinet or app works unless you pay monthly fees

On top of the high cost of the bassinet itself, every possible feature is now locked behind a paywall. You have to pay a monthly fee to use any part of it, on top of the cost of the product itself. Coming from a parent, I am so disappointed in this company. Simple app features that used to be free like sleep tracking and feeding tracking are suddenly now behind a paywall. I can no longer access important past tracking data about my child unless I pay a fee to see it. I also no longer have access to the Snoo bassinet itself for important features like locking the rocking motion or sound settings unless I pay to do so. The only thing the free part of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO does is turn the bassinet on and off, and who knows how much longer it will even include that. I will no longer recommend the Snoo bassinet or any of their products ever again. They care more about making as much money as possible, and less about children and their parents.

App is necessary evil

We are on our second time Snoo and HappiestBabymakersofSNOO user experience has only declined over the past 4 years since our first. We have bought both Snoos used for half price and resold after - I recommend this as the Snoo is far overpriced for how little customization is offered by HappiestBabymakersofSNOO. There is no way to use the Snoo effectively without HappiestBabymakersofSNOO which continues to decline. The physical product is great but HappiestBabymakersofSNOO alone makes the asking price too high.

The most recent app update removed the ability to double tap to zoom into sleep details. Instead they added the ability to track feeds and diapers which is unintuitive and unnecessary. Many better apps like Huckleberry track those things much better, I just need the Snoo to tell me about time in bassinet and levels etc. which is almost impossible to find now. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has to be manually opened each time to lock the Snoo from automatically turning up levels which should be available as an option but is not. Instead they send me notifications recommending I allow the Snoo to increase speed!! I want to be in charge of how I use the Snoo but it is very difficult to customize. In 4 years HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has added no improvements or increased customization and only become more convoluted and frequently disconnects from the Snoo itself. I wish HappiestBabymakersofSNOO could be as sleek as the physical product and provide me with easy customization of sound levels and motion limits if I want them.

Paywalled an already faulty app

Update to add that you can’t even lock the level without buying. The most basic tasks are paywalls. This company is terrible. Never again. Get something else. There are lots of other soothing bassinets out there now. This crappy company doesn’t deserve your money!

It also says a lot that all they can offer are these canned, meaningless responses. They don’t care that loyal customers are upset.

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is now paywalled for a crazy amount. Only the most basic functions of the snoo are available now. I can’t even go see how much the baby slept the night before now. They are giving a “free trial” if you buy the product through them, but it’s only good for 1 baby. We’re on our second and they have basically decided to alienate and screw over parents of more than one child. Do not buy. Look into things like cradlewise or other soothing bassinets instead. It’s bad enough it’s so hard to repair, but to add on this crazy app charge every month for a product that’s thousands is just nuts.

New app won’t show log data

We just brought home our newborn and I originally had downloaded the SNOO app when our snoo arrived. After using the snoo the first day I saw that HappiestBabymakersofSNOO switched so I downloaded HappiestBabymakersofSNOO so that my husband and I could both use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to track our 4day olds sleep pattern. Fortunately the snoo is working but unfortunately you can see NONE of the sleep data for our little one. PLEASE FIX THIS

Doesn’t work

I hate HappiestBabymakersofSNOO more than anything. I haven’t been able to see any snoo related data since transitioning over with the exception of a couple of times. I keep getting the message that I need to “try again later”. I’ve deleted and redownloaded HappiestBabymakersofSNOO countless times and still haven’t found any success. I never had any issue with the Snoo app.

Doesn’t sync

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is terrible. Keep tapping the side of the snoobie and get an error. The support is joke. Don’t buy the snoobie or waste your time with HappiestBabymakersofSNOO.

Wish app and snoobie were better

LOVE the idea of the snoobie bc we’ve loved the snoo and I wanted a white noise machine that plays the same noise as the snoo, so I purchased I snoobie. Great, right? Wrong!

Turns out you CAN’T control the snoobie with your phone?!? You can only create ‘routines’ to trigger at a certain time of day. Useless. It should also be responsive like the Snoo right? Nope. It’s not. (This I knew before buying, the lack of phone controls I did not.)

It also took me about 20 tries to connect the snoobie to my phone…at which point I discovered there was no reason for me to do that anyway.

Seriously considering returning it.

Not connecting to Snoo

I have my snoo already set up with snoo app but it will not connect to happiest baby app…

Snoo app worked better

For some reason they decided to deprecate the working snoo app, remove it from HappiestBabymakersofSNOO Store, and force everyone to switch to HappiestBabymakersofSNOO. It’s unstable, buggy, and the UI smaller and harder to use than the snoo app. All I want is my sleep graph and snoo control (and an app that works…)

App crashes when adding a new snoo

I’m a first time user and I’m trying to add my snoo. But HappiestBabymakersofSNOO crashes and closes on me as soon as I try to add it. Hopefully this issue gets resolved so I don’t have to return my snoo.

App has been down for days.

I recently downloaded HappiestBabymakersofSNOO due to the other Snoo app being eliminated. This one aeemed to be working fine cor about a week. Then a few days ago it just stopped working. Nothing pulled up when I launched HappiestBabymakersofSNOO . I tried logging out and logging back in but now I can’t get into my account. Tried deleting HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , reinstalling but still no luck. Even rebooted my phone and the problem persists. There aren’t any helpful tips on their FAQ or a troubleshooting team to reach out to. Very disappointing.

SNOO app and HappiestBaby app work 3/4 of the time

No changes in the house such as WiFi strength, new devices added to WiFi, yet somehow both of the apps “can’t connect” for apparent reason.

The WiFi router is reasonably close to the SNOO. But at least once a week HappiestBabymakersofSNOO just doesn’t work and “can’t connect”. This is annoying and frustrating to deal with after spending a few thousand dollars.

And I know I’m not the only experiencing this issue.

SNOO/Happiest Baby needs to do better.

Terrible

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is horrible. I get multiple errors when trying to log in and have yet to be able to log in in a few days. I’ve got the latest version, have deleted and reinstalled and still getting error messages. Hoping they don’t get rid of the old app for this very reason.

Stopped tracking sleep

Was working great and now has stopped tracking in the sleep log page. Main page timer resets everytime I open app.

Typical connected bloat

No reason we should have to register and connect the device to the internet to change a few settings.

Happiest Baby.. More like Unhappiest Parent

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is trash and doesn’t even let you connect to the Snoo. The Snoo WiFi Button doesn’t even stay click and I can’t even connect to HappiestBabymakersofSNOO . It’s not worth your money at all. Don’t buy the Snoo as it never works and isn’t worth all of the stress and hassle. If I could give 0 stars I would…

Not working for 3 days

I have been unable to use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO since Friday. It is now Monday….

Also I’d like to be able to edit a snoo session. Sometimes family grabs the baby and forgets to turn it off. This messes with averages and being able to see what is happening with sleep patterns.

Love the Snoo and Snoo app, this app is frustrating

We love our Snoo for our daughter, but I feel like I am constantly asking for customer support for HappiestBabymakersofSNOO. I miss the Snoo app :(

Most recent struggle is manually entering naps and using the timer for naps outside of the Snoo. We are often on the go and my baby sleeps in different places. For the past few days, whenever I go to enter my daughter’s naps in and push submit it bumps the time BACKWARDS 6 hours. If I try to edit it, same problem.

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO also needs a customer support via HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and not the website. Incredibly tedious to fill out so many forms whenever there is an app issue.

Love the SNOO, hate the new app

I’ve used the SNOO for my first child, and am now 5 months into using it for my second. I love the SNOO, but I am really not liking this new app. I follow wake windows and it’s hard to see when my baby woke up last without clicking on multiple buttons. If the developers could just add the wake times to the Daily Overview chart that would be awesome!

Glitches Often

This new app looks great and I prefer the features in this to the old app, however it has a lot of issues. It will frequently freeze on an old screen, for example it will say it’s on level 1 but if I open the old snoo app it’s on level 3 and soothing my baby. I will hit lock or level up/down and the screen doesn’t change but my snoo does respond! So I have no idea what is actually happening with my baby. Just glad you haven’t sunset the old app so I can hop back and forth between both and get an accurate view. Also, I hate that in the new app says “is calm (baby’s name)” it should say “(baby’s name) is calm”. The snoo app is correct.

You snoobie you losie

I am a loyal Snoo parent, it was one of the best products I’ve ever bought. Baby turned 6 months- cue the next phase. Bought Snoobie and am so disappointed. Can’t believe this is the same company.
Why not have snoobie connected to the snoo app!? Why do I have a second, horrible app for snoobie?
My routines are overridden by manual changes. Why is there no way to just hit a button to return to the routine that ought to be underway?
Obvious other flaws: the sync situation is dumb. The charger is way too precarious. The product feels cheap. Is that a microphone in the speaker (middle left)?? If it’s not responsive, why is there a mic, and if it’s not a mic, what is it?

Good idea, very glitchy

I love my Snoo for my newborn baby (and used it for a precious baby), and the idea of having an “all-in-one” app is very appealing. When your baby is first born, you will be tracking pee/poop/feedings/sleep. It can be annoying to go back and forth between apps for all the baby stuff. However, HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has been super glitchy. Occasionally the sleep diagram goes completely blank, and I have to close and reopen HappiestBabymakersofSNOO every time I want the “time since last sleep/feeding/diaper” to update. I also find it to be way too many clicks to get to the list of the daily schedule/what happened during the day. All in all, HappiestBabymakersofSNOO just needs some TLC to be the useful app it could be. I reverted to using the other tracking app for everything other than turning the Snoo on/off.

Miss the Snoo app

I strongly dislike HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and I was upset when we were forced to move to this one. The colors don’t update unless you quit HappiestBabymakersofSNOO and go back in which is a minor convenience but enough that it’s annoying. I don’t like the colors either.

Terrible after new update

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is incredibly buggy and clunky to use now after the most recent update. Please add a feature to disable the feeding and diapering tracking. As other reviews have mentioned, other apps do this much better and the majority of us already using the Happiest Baby app have been using a separate tracker for a while. It also won’t update current sleep data unless you force close and reopen HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , which is frustrating in the middle of the night when you’re trying to see how long they’ve currently been soothed for. I get wanting to add features to encourage people to use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO over other apps but this is a hamfisted attempt.

The new update is not good

First of all, the racetrack image being the only image now is difficult to use as a method of sleep tracking. We used the other list view where I could see length of sleep session, the breakdown of the levels and actual data for my day.

Second, the update with other monitoring (feeding and diapers) as default is not useful. I have so much space I’m not using or tracking info in taking up my home screens. I should have to opt in to have those on the screen.

Third, it’s upsetting to see it referred to as nursing in the top summaries when you clearly call it feeding below. What an assumption to make.

Time stamps

I hate that with the new app it doesn’t give you time stamps unless you go into the detailed mode, I like to glance at it and see exactly what time different settings were started/stopped.

Previous app was better

The snoo app is more intuitive to use. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO requires more clicks to get to current status of baby and day summary. The new colors and visuals are also hard to look at.

Buggy after update

There was a new update this week that made HappiestBabymakersofSNOO much worse:

1. I can no longer double click on the daily view to get a detailed look. This is important for seeing how long maps and wake windows are. It was replaced with a zoom button, but that button isn’t available in the “Daily” view.

2. The daily view is way more buggy now and is often missing sleep data. It was caused us to run into the nursery multiple times because it shows the snoo is off, only to see baby sleeping and snoo moving. This morning I couldn’t see any data about baby’s entire night of sleep last night.

3. New features were added to log feedings and diapers. Please make a setting to disable those features if we aren’t using them, as they now add multiple clicks to the workflow for viewing the sleep log.

Please test updates more thoroughly before making the lives of tired parents more difficult. Anyone using HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has paid a premium for a snoo, and at that price point extremely high quality is the expectation.

Please go back to old version

I don’t like the new version 1.8 to the extent that I need to write a review on 6am when I wake up to feed the baby. The sleep time tracking is not as real time as the old version. I need to refresh a few times for it to update. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO unexpectedly exit sometimes. I don’t need all the fancy features of tracking nursing and diaper, the weekly data, etc. you can have it if you think someone else needs it, but please do the basic feature very well- which is showing the exact time my baby slept during the past 24 hours real time. I liked the chart and was familiar with the double tap, now it changed to ‘zoom in’? Not as user friendly as the old version

Disappointed in Subscription Change

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO was wonderful and we started using it immediately after our son was born in May. We went with HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to track feedings as we had purchased the Snoobie and wanted to consolidate apps as much as possible. We were very disappointed with the sudden change in mid-July that moves all tracking features to a premium plan. I would have expected the company to have the courtesy to at least allow all current tracking features to remain available to families that already had data in the system, especially considering we did make a purchase from Happiest Baby. If we had been warned back in May that tracking features would require paid access, we would have considered an alternative option, as it is hardly worth the fee to just track feedings. We don’t own a Snoo and thus do not need many of the other premium features. This experience truly reduced my trust with this company, which is quite a shame.

Needs widget

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO works well, I just wish there was a widget that shows both the sleep session and awake session length. Same with being able to start/stop snoo or raise/lower motion level within the widget

Time stamps

Please put the time stamps on the U chart that shows when baby fell asleep/woke up! It had this on the snoo app but not on this one. I use this to help track my baby’s wake windows

Awful app not worth a subscription price

I constantly have to force quit HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to adjust the level (extra frustrating when the sole purpose of this product is to soothe your crying baby). Sometimes the sleep log is just blank until I force quit. Some of the bugs in HappiestBabymakersofSNOO are even laughable like when it says “CHILDS NAME SNOO is soothing” like it’s yoda. What’s NOT laughable is happiest baby charging a monthly fee for a clearly flawed buggy app when the bassinet itself costs $1700. And they introduced the subscription after thousands of people had already purchased a bassinet. It’s an insane price for something that’s literally only relevant for 4-6 months of your child’s life. Happiest baby is literally preying on the anxieties of sleep deprived new parents, selling them this magic aid and horrible app promising it will help them get a few hours of sleep that they’re desperate for when babies just don’t sleep great regardless.

Changing rating from 1->3

I’m changing 1 star to 3. My toddler likes the device. Even tho you can’t set to alternate colors, the sounds are nice. The breathing sound has light that gets brighter and dimmer and the baby likes that. The reason I bought it was to entertain the baby with color light changes. I was initially disappointed you can’t do this, but I think this device is more designed for toddlers trying to learn a routine.

So I like the device okay, but not HappiestBabymakersofSNOO . HappiestBabymakersofSNOO doesn’t let you change the song or colors on demand. It only lets you set future color and song at a specific time.

Miss the Snoo app

Three things HappiestBabymakersofSNOO should improve on

1. If you only have one Snoo device connected to HappiestBabymakersofSNOO that should be the default device and HappiestBabymakersofSNOO should open up to the play/pause button like the Snoo app did

2. The start and end time should be visible on the sleep log screen. I don’t want to have to click into it to see the exact time and it’s just an extra annoying step to have to look at the log and estimate the time

3. The color scheme on the sleep log was WAY better and easy on the eyes than HappiestBabymakersofSNOO

Love the Snoo, but the app could use some improvement

Like the title says, the Snoo is great, but for some reason the sleep log shows “No Session” for numerous segments of time, despite the Snoo continuing to run. Currently we cannot rely on the Snoo to do sleep tracking, therefore we have purchased a separate app to fill the gap.

Again, very satisfied with the Snoo and do not regret the purchase - this is a minor inconvenience.

Need time stamps on the daily log!

Overall HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is ok but I strongly prefer the look and functionality of the old SNOO app. Specifically I wish the daily chart had time stamps that showed you the exact time your child started and ended their time in the SNOO (the way the SNOO app displayed the times on the daily sleep chart). I used that constantly and find it very annoying to not have that information easily available at a quick glance.

So much potential yet lacking

It’s not perfect but does the job. I would have liked to have a note section for each entry to track what type of bowel movement, amount of urine in diaper, quality of sleep and etc. I also do not like that if you don’t start HappiestBabymakersofSNOO right on time that it doesn’t let you back track. It’s either you start it later after the fact and go back and edit it or you just wait and then input it manually in regards to sleep tracking. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO also has issues with data collection in the appropriate day. It has issues counting what happens from 12 am until morning if you use HappiestBabymakersofSNOO at irregular hours from the same day. It shows that nothing happen in those hours like HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is not registering it’s a new day until later and counts it all in one day. We only used HappiestBabymakersofSNOO to streamline it with the snoo.

Issues with app/account

We just had our baby and took her home last week. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO worked for a few days, but has been on the fritz for about 5 days now.

When we try to log into the account, we have gotten different error messages from “oops, something went wrong” to “action can’t be completed, try again later”. At one point I was able to go to the happiest baby website and log into our account from there, but that’s been having issues since Friday (3/15), too.

I sent emails but haven’t received a response. Very disappointing especially considering the cost. Product seems like it could be a great support for new parents/babies but the support from the company seems severely lacking.

Missing some features of the old app

Okay now that you can have multiple snoos in one account, but the daily journal isn’t as functional as the old app and no longer includes the exact times when events started and stopped.

Have to turn off wifi to work

Love our snoo but HappiestBabymakersofSNOO isn’t great. It worked well for a week but not won’t connect to the Snoo unless I turn off wifi on my phone. Of course I never remember to do that when opening HappiestBabymakersofSNOO so I have to close HappiestBabymakersofSNOO turn off the wifi and then reopen it to get it to pair, very frustrating for an already busy mom. For a $1700 investment you’d think HappiestBabymakersofSNOO would work flawlessly.

Bring back the old SNOO app

HappiestBabymakersofSNOO has all of the same features of the SNOO app. It is not as user friendly and just seems clunky. Would appreciate redesigning to a more user friendly experience.

App works fine, preferred the snoo app

Looks like they are getting rid of the Snoo app and replacing with HappiestBabymakersofSNOO. I preferred the look of the Snoo app to this but otherwise HappiestBabymakersofSNOO works fine.

Great product held back by poor app

We love the Snoo but have found HappiestBabymakersofSNOO lacking. This is our first time using it but there seems to be no way to adjust settings for the Snoo itself, such as white noise volume. I worry it’s excessive for my daughter and would love to turn it down at times but HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is essentially nothing more than a remote on/off switch for the bassinet.

Won’t connect

Update: The developer contacted me after my review and told me it’s a known issue with Eero routers. They told us how to fix it and now HappiestBabymakersofSNOO is connecting. I agree with others that timestamps on the “racetrack” view would be nice but you can find that information by double tapping or going to the other view options. I liked the way the old app looked better but I suppose I’ll get used to this one and it will be just fine.

The new app won’t work. When I open it, it says “Oops! something went wrong. We had an issue loading HappiestBabymakersofSNOO , please wait a few minutes and try again.” I have tried for days to get it to load and it just keeps giving me that message. Thankfully we still have the old app otherwise the SNOO would be an extremely expensive, uncontrollable bassinet. Fix it, please! And definitely don’t deprecate the old app!

Needs improvement - please add timestamps

Please add timestamps to the daily log view (like the previous snoo app) Otherwise have to double click in and it’s very annoying.
Also the running time should be the entire sleep not just how long at that level, otherwise hard to follow and know how long baby has been in bassinet quickly. Again this was like the previous snoo app.

Struggling with happiest baby

We love our Snoo! The Snoo app was simpler than the happiest baby app. The most recent update seems a bit glitchy in that we did not get notifications when our baby was being soothed and we were in the other room, but we heard her make noise. When we went to check on her, it was soothing her. We have never had this problem and we have been using the SNOO for four months now. Also, on my app, my log isn’t capturing her sleep on the arch which is my preferred way of reviewing her sleep. My wife doesn’t have this problem.

Hopefully they fix this problem.

Please add a sound monitor option

This is our second time renting the SNOO and we think it’s about time to add a sound monitoring function. It’s great that we have cisibility of the SNOO is ‘soothing’ our baby but we wish we could hear our baby as well. Like a monitor. Maybe people have both but it seems like an easy thing to add.

Good App, Could Use Tweaks

My main complaint is that partial days are calculated into the weekly overview totals. A day that is currently happening messes with the weekly averages instead of affecting them once over.
I think you should also be able to choose when a day starts (ex: midnight to midnight).
Also, after tabbing through weekly overviews and switching back to the daily overview it always puts you on Sunday so you have to swipe back to the current day. It’d be nice if it automatically put you there when on the current week.

Snoo is amazing and app is great

The Snoo is a game changer with a newborn. It is so much easier to put baby down because it rocks and does the white noise. HappiestBabymakersofSNOO works great and I love being able to see how much sleep she is getting and the patterns with it.

Love it!

The SNOO itself is absolutely amazing and I’m pleased with the functionality of HappiestBabymakersofSNOO . No issues with bugs and it’s very user friendly.

Amazing app!

App is amazing!

Apple Watch feature was much needed

I want to see the internal mic of the device turned into a baby monitor while in use to hear through HappiestBabymakersofSNOO
