I can connect Bluetooth devices within the link app, but I am unable to get the Apple TV app to find or recognize the link. It is totally non-functional as a bridge to the ATV app. And, yes, both my phone and ATV are connected to the same WiFi network.
As far as I can tell, MyWhooshLink does absolutely nothing. there are all kinds of menus and displays that simply do nothing at all. I think MyWhooshLink has a lot of potential and would be very useful if it actually did something.
I tried my whoosh for over a year and thought to give them a chance and the companion app never worked
Update (14 Aug 2024): The recent update adds ability to execute u-turns, virtual steering and camera selection! Great update! Good progress. I didnβt get cadence go through to MyWhoosh on windows so there might be a bug there.
Wish list: sync workout data (including watt) to Apple Health! This will make MyWhooshLink awesome!
This is a good initial link app with great future potential. The following features (listed in order of importance) would make it 5 star for me: 1. Ability to execute control commands (u-turns, steering left or right, route prompt selection) through the link app 2. Use the link app to change camera view 3. Pause and resume ride from the link app 4. Toggle ERG mode from the link app.
