We tried using this app and paid for Both tours for the road to Hana in Maui. Because it is NOT clear when you’ve purchased it. It never downloaded and therefore would NOT work on the Road to Hana sue to the spotty or lack of Cell reception. Even after it was “Downloaded” we made three of the many many narrated stops and it would kick
Me out of the App and then if by chance we got in service, it would not pick back up and the app page froze!

Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best experience with this app. To start, there was an annoying beep that would keep beeping unless you click on the map view. Secondly, I was really disappointed because most of the drive, I didn’t have service so that meant the app didn’t work. I thought it would at least have the narration downloaded to the phone to be able to at least manually play each audio clip. Only got to listen to a few of the audio clips before my service ran out and we couldn’t use the app. The UI is a bit counterintuitive.

The app would have show off the road and then the narration would stop even though we were still driving on the road. We missed almost half of the narration due to this. And then when it did play it would often be delayed and we would miss the turn offs mentioned.
