It seems all they did here was use the same cumbersome web based app for mobile. The desktop is designed for a horizontal viewport so why not at least make it so you can go landscape on your phone?

Honestly working in UI this is pretty bad. The naming for labels and the organization for GotSportTeamApp is pretty horrendous on the web as well as for mobile, If I wasn’t forced to use this then I wouldn’t.

Please develop GotSportTeamApp for customers as they should be your first priority if you want to survive.

So the previous version was good so they decided to remove it and now charge. Even though I already use their service I am able to access it on PC but since it’s Mobile version now I have to pay additional for this feature. LAME

Very clunky app. not user friendly. have to put @ signs to send notifications instead of user deciding. not friendly for our teams at all.

Team chat, message board, integrated schedules and rosters! Easy to use and syncs up with GotSport!

Doesn’t recognize me as already being a user (same credentials as web) so not connected to org and so app is worthless.

App doesn’t recognize my email, despite being a web user. In addition, attempting to set up a NEW user doesn’t work. The entire GotSport ecosystem is totally and utterly garbage.

What a piece of garbage GotSportTeamApp and entire program seems to be. This should flow much easier for a user supported program.

No referee support? How can refs see their schedule and how does a referee export their calendar!!

Both the website AND GotSportTeamApp need a lot of work. App says I’m a new user even though I’m not. Can’t log in. Completely unusable. Website isn’t much better. One second it’s asking for a username for login, the next an email. And is it Gotsoccer or Gotsport?! Someone needs to get in there and clean up the coding.

I am trying to login with my username and GotSportTeamApp doesn’t recognize me as a user. So the only way it’s create a new user with my same username. This act provoked that I don’t have any organization, team and event associated from the mobile to my user. The web still works.

Honestly the worst sports app I have ever attempted to use. We have 3 children that have been playing multiple sports for years. We have used many different sports team apps successfully, but attempting to use this as a coach and as a parent has been horrendous. It takes 10 clicks just to see my roster and sending an email is a complete nightmare with many players on the roster not even receiving the email. Plus it is constantly asking me to purchase GotSportTeamApp when the soccer league has already paid for my team to use us. I have no idea why this terrible app was selected by our league but it had been a waste of time. A team group email will be much more effective and efficient.

The GotSport website (which is a garbage fire) directed me to download the new app. Hoping that the user experience for GotSportTeamApp may not make me want to commit seppuku, I downloaded to give it a try. Unfortunately, things went bad from the start. GotSportTeamApp didn’t recognize my email and forced me to register as a new user (I’m not), and then I only got as far as GotSportTeamApp telling me I had to pay for the “pro” version to link my account, but then didn’t provide any button to actually proceed from that page, not that I would have paid regardless. This platform could be great, but maybe it’s time the company stopped hiring middle school dropouts to manage their coding and UX.

I have used competitor apps for youth sports for last 5 years and our soccer organization just changed to this one. It’s honestly the worst I have used . It’s extremely limited in its communication abilities , adding members to the team such as parents and family that didn’t sign their children up but want to be in the know with team messaging and scheduling . You guys should take a look at GameChanger app and get your act together . I would never use GotSportTeamApp again unless major user upgrades are created . Can

I have multiple children on multiple teams and you can’t over lap the calendars. The iCal link kinda works, but won’t push updates to the calendar so we can’t trust what we see on our calendar so we have to go to GotSportTeamApp and look at each team individually. The chat feature is wonky as some parents on our team see the messages and others don’t. I don’t know why our club switched to GotSportTeamApp, but I hope Got Sport is paying them to use it. The change has been frustrating to say the least.

Please, someone who has authority, disengage ALL clubs from this system. It's literally ruining everything, every season. What brilliant scientist thought to use this nationwide? What kind of thoughtless developers do you have? Did you ever hear a thing called customer service/support? We're dealing with children here, somebody better get this crap in order before legal proceedings begin. Another worm hack would be great!!!

Our kids sports team used to use a different app but switched to this one. Unsure why as it is glitchy and the functionality is not as good as sports engine was . Today I can’t even get into GotSportTeamApp and as it is 1950 for my uterus, GotSportTeamApp somehow thinks my husband should control this too. If I could give negative stars I would

GotSportTeamApp has changed the game for our club communications. Synced directly to all our schedules in GotSport, it has eliminated the need to upload schedules. Safe, reliable and super efficient.

Why have an app that doesn’t work?
Is not user friendly at all, it’s hard to navigate, more than half of the options are hidden/ or same color as the background so you have to scroll to a different color background to see options.

On the gotsport website, they talk about GotSportTeamApp .
The thing is, to use it, you have to pay a subscription.
It’s $150 or $75 depending on when you’re looking to purchase it.
Even for a convenience factor, that’s too much.
Don’t waste your time or money.

I am tech savvy and this is the worst experience I have ever had with an app/website. Whether you have GotSportTeamApp or just use the website it is absolutely awful. Not user friendly whatsoever. Would rate less if I could. 1 star is too high.

Doesn’t even recognize my email, says I’m a new user and to create a new account. I decided to humor it and put in my credentials and it told me to go back and enter in a new email, that the one I was trying to enter was already in use. HA!!

I have no clue why our soccer club is using this garbage app. It’s literally the WORST. Crashes. Won’t allow for calendar updates/corrections and constantly reverts back to the previous schedule. Literally horrible!

The website is bad enough on its own to find information, but GotSportTeamApp is even worse. Doesn’t recognize existing users, etc…..

Incredibly hard to manage multiple teams, calendars don’t scroll and messaging is awful. Not sure how GotSportTeamApp was released.

App couldn’t even recognize email address on account for last two years. Delete move on.

Current GotSport web app user for managing a team, which GotSportTeamApp recognized, however it wanted me to purchase a $99/year subscription for the mobile app.

Nothing but problems with GotSportTeamApp. Every year . The season is half way done by time it works correctly.

The opening line to this review is GotSportTeamApp and support team is complete crap. Do not use this ****. GotSportTeamApp does not work correctly and even after you pay their customer support is diabolical. They don’t even have a live support or you can call to get help with. Even after paying for their app, sending in three or four emails asking for support with a live person they refuse to help.

Use anything else and you’ll be 100% more satisfied. I would’ve gave them a pass if maybe they had live-support like over the phone and may be a three rating because GotSportTeamApp could be amazing but it’s complete ****. As an example there’s an option for reoccurring practices but when selected it does not fill in reoccurring practices and only provides two practices. I brought this up to the support team three separate times and they send me a generic email To follow the helpdesk. I’ve asked for a live representative and they refused to do it.

Save yourself the headache especially because you or your parents pay for this crap.

It let me log on, and it shows me nothing. They give me no options. The customer support is completely inexistent.

GotSportTeamApp is very frustrating

As with others, GotSportTeamApp doesn’t recognize my email address. I have a gotsport account I use on the computer all the time. But can’t even log into GotSportTeamApp, making it useless. It wants me to create an account, but it doesn’t have my linked team.

Useless. No functionality. One frozen screen that doesn't recognize or load up my team info. I could go on but instead I will just agree with all the reviews. Useless and frustrating app. Don't bother with it.

I registered with my email. Then I downloaded GotSportTeamApp and entered my email. Said email allegedly does not exist in their database. Wanted me to register. Deleted app. What even is GotSportTeamApp for? Not sure why my team is using it. Why am I allowed to give it one star?

Why would you have to pay $99 to use GotSportTeamApp when you already have an account online? GotSportTeamApp should just be a continuation of the account that we already have.

Third party application to retain your information unnecessarily. Don’t know how they were sold on this one.

Team snap worked a lot better. The availability doesn’t render correctly for practice and games.

App works great when it works, but then it doesn’t. No explanation why- I log in and out to reset- team info and schedule suddenly disappeared.

Exact same issue as everyone else. I can log in using my existing account details but teams do not show up and app wants to charge you. Move to Ollie Sports, it actually works.

Do not recognize emails. Can never log in

For the price of GotSportTeamApp not worth the money

Keeps saying I don’t have an existing account with Gotsport. I literally just logged in and out of my account before trying to login on GotSportTeamApp . I’ve tried several times on different occasions and devices. What’s the point of this if it doesn’t work? All the other reviews are spot-on.
