Not intuitive and no instructions

I eventually figured out how to get it to count by randomly clicking things. It’s not intuitive to find where to go to start counting, there’s no obvious button to get there, nor instructions on how to use EasyKnittyRowCounterknit .

Most counting apps are intuitive where you can easily and accurately guess how to use it, but not this one. It’s like a dozen others I’ve seen but harder to figure out.

I downloaded this one because I thought from the name it was from Knitty magazine but after seeing it I think that very unlikely.

It does let you click to count up and click a different button to delete rows, so I gave it two stars. It’s not even transparent about what the upgrade would cost and then I realized I wasn’t really interested enough to look that info up in EasyKnittyRowCounterknit store.

I do think others would want to know this doesn’t have the quality an app from Knitty magazine would have. They rock but EasyKnittyRowCounterknit does not.

Not Super Helpful

You have to pay for the full version for it to really be any help. You start out with only one counter, so you can’t have a counter for stitches and also rows (unless you buy the full version). The ability to store all your projects and progress is nice, until EasyKnittyRowCounterknit just deletes all of it and you don’t know where you left off. I saw someone say this happened to them and their projects came back randomly. Lucky them I guess because mine didn’t.

No easy way to archive

I like a lot of things about EasyKnittyRowCounterknit. Doesn’t collect data, very clean once you pay for ad free. Biggest frustration is it doesn’t appear you can “finish” a project and have it moved to the archive section. You need to make a whole new entry in the archive and copy the information over, then delete from active projects. That’s more of a hassle than I want to go through. This is a very simple row counter, and it can keep track of the different parts of your project if you’re into amiguri (no idea how to spell that, sorry if that’s way off). If that’s what you’re looking for, this is adequate.

Useful app!

I love EasyKnittyRowCounterknit, it really helps me keep my projects organized, especially with the notes feature. I took 2 stars away out of five because the notes feature is so buggy, it makes it SO frustrating to keep detailed notes when it won't let me scroll through them and keeps glitching me down to the bottom so I can't even see or edit my notes easily. Please look into fixing this bug, I want to give EasyKnittyRowCounterknit 5 stars!!

Very nice project follow up

I like EasyKnittyRowCounterknit. It is simple to use but has enough feature to do your project. 2 counters very easy to use and I love the big + button :-). I remove 1 star because the note block that is so useful to write what you are doing bugs time to time when you want to add notes. It always scroll down and make it almost impossible to add some. Maybe they are going to fix it soon

Love it but the features are limited

I love the design and how things are set up on EasyKnittyRowCounterknit but if I want to do literally anything else besides counting my rows I have to pay 3.99 a month. I don’t really want to spend more money then I have to do I’m stuck with the limited non premium version. If you are okay with that then by all means get EasyKnittyRowCounterknit its great

great for crochet

EasyKnittyRowCounterknit has been great for keeping track of crochet rows! the only thing is the "row stats" are super inaccurate. in the last three days (June 11, 12, 13) I've crocheted 98 rows, which it shows in my daily counter, but my counter for June says I've only done 10 rows. also it would be nice to have a tutorial for EasyKnittyRowCounterknit somewhere, because some of the functions are confusing.

Very convenient

I love EasyKnittyRowCounterknit and I use it all the time! I bought the full version because I think it is totally worth it. Only thing is lately I open EasyKnittyRowCounterknit and all my projects are gone and I’m not able to start anything. I restarted my phone, updated EasyKnittyRowCounterknit , and still had this problem. Then randomly they came back. I’m not sure why it was glitching but that was pretty frustrating.

Great for what I need

This works great for what I need. I don’t need all the bells and whistles of more expensive apps and I like that the premium is a one time fee instead of a subscription. It would be nice if it could work with the pattern so I wouldn’t have to go back and forth, but it is so much better than just making tallies on paper.

It’s *almost* great.

This is super useful and convenient, first of all. I like the clean look and being able to take notes on my projects. *But* I hate that I can’t make the same thing more than once. I run an Etsy store and take orders for items, and am often using this to track progress on a given project. With the format of EasyKnittyRowCounterknit, I can’t copy/paste or duplicate my work, which is inconvenient.

Convenient app, wish a few things were different!

I liked the row counter and the ability to save it in a project that I purchased the premium version. So far what I noticed is that when leaving EasyKnittyRowCounterknit without pausing the stopwatch, it will continue to go, and when locking my phone and unlocking it (with EasyKnittyRowCounterknit still pulled up) it was continuing to go as well. I also switched apps, locked it, and it still continued to go!

2 things I wish were updated:
The time on the stopwatch bugs out and does not show the last 2 digit seconds always and will show “…” then randomly show the seconds counted. I wish the numbers were remain.
The second thing, it would be really cool to be able to see it on the lock screen and be able to pause and play it from there if knitting is interrupted!

I am happy I found this cute lil convenient app though :) so s/o to the creator lol

Perfect utility for knitters

EasyKnittyRowCounterknit is a workhorse for knitters! I often have several projects running at a time and it’s great for keeping track of them all. I like that multiple parts can be added to a project and love the time counter. I add the pattern to the notes section so I can just pick up one at any time. Appreciate all the thought that went into this—you’ve designed a wonderful tool for knitters!

Great little app

I’m on a kitting group in Facebook. I talked about EasyKnittyRowCounterknit. Someone said she does everything in a journal, writes it down. I just couldn’t stay constant with that method. One thing consistent with me is, I always have my phone. EasyKnittyRowCounterknit gives me one place to do it all. Count rows, type notes, write out my pattern when I’m free styling. EasyKnittyRowCounterknit allows me to break up a project into sub parts. Teaching myself sock knitting so my sock has the toe pattern. Then foot pattern, then heel then the leg. (Toe up sock). Looking at it in sections really helped me focus on just that section. Call it ADHD or what ever, EasyKnittyRowCounterknit helps me focus on the part of the sock I’m working and forget the other parts until I get there. And, it’s all going to be there for sock number two. Yes, you can do this in a journal but correcting and making adjustments is a whole lot cleaner in EasyKnittyRowCounterknit. It even lets me check on how many rows I did in a day. It’s interesting to know that. So I want to thank the developers for this cool app. I love it.

Great, Simple Counting App

I use this for crochet. I created multiple projects before I bought it to test it out, and I found it had everything I needed. I like the ability to create projects with multiple parts, the fact that my phone doesn’t go to sleep while I’m using it, and that I can save notes about where I stopped for next time. It’s simple, but it’s everything I need.

Efficient row counter app!!

I’ve been using this counter for some time. I prefer apps to other counting methods because I’m already keeping up with my phone anyhow - several less things to keep track of. The paid app allows for multiplier trackers. I like being able to keep up with separate sections of patterns and the active/archive function. It doesn’t seems to work in with iWatch which is definitely a bit of a bummer to me. I’d love to track on my wrist - one less thing to pick up, lol! It’s all about efficiency and this is a good efficient tool.

Great app

I use it for crochet and bought the premium for both counters I use one as a stitch counter and one as a row counter. I do amigurumi so it’s good for keeping track of every stitch for decreases and such. I use it for almost everything I make. I also have adhd so this definitely helps me when I completely forget what stitch I’m on when I’m working on it.

Great App

I bought EasyKnittyRowCounterknit (paid…I hate ads lol) because my cat kept stealing my small finger stitch counter, and she has yet to try and steal my phone so jokes on her. The ONLY thing I wish this had was a second stopwatch in each section for rows so you had the main stopwatch and one that restarts each row. Otherwise this to me, is perfect. A+++ (especially since my cat take it BAHAHAHA.)

just need your phone

I keep patterns on my phone so they don’t get creased, and having that plus EasyKnittyRowCounterknit is all I need to pick up all my forgotten projects. As a knitter who doesn’t have tons of knitting time, I really appreciate being able to have multiple projects to keep track of if needed as well, and only one “counter”

Literally the best row counter app

I’ve been using this to crochet for awhile now, and it’s quite literally the only one I could think to use. The primary counter and secondary counter is so useful for projects that have repeated segments, and having the timer right there within the project screen is perfect if you sell your projects or are just curious about how long you spend working on it! Being able to have multiple projects going on at once is super helpful as well if you need variety by switching projects around 😂 I can’t imagine using any other app!

Great App!!

I really enjoy and like the features offered in EasyKnittyRowCounterknit! It works well and I like the options of customizing or writing notes if necessary!
I didn’t mind paying for full access to EasyKnittyRowCounterknit . It was reasonably priced and will be helpful to have for in the future. My favorite aspects are the options to have several sections for one project and having the time tracker for the projects. The time tracker is important to me because I’m considering selling projects in the future. This will be helpful so that I can more accurately know how much time I’m spending on making things!
However, my bigger issue/bug I see most in EasyKnittyRowCounterknit is the timer not working properly. It works perfectly fine only if EasyKnittyRowCounterknit is left open on the phone screen. However, if I lock my phone and leave it in the background, it either won’t continue counting the time that passes or it will jump significantly forward and record an amount of time that hasn’t passed yet.
Before the recent update, the time tracking feature worked alright when I would leave it to run in the background/phone screen locked. But it’s been pretty funky since!
Overall, very happy with it!!!
