I eventually figured out how to get it to count by randomly clicking things. It’s not intuitive to find where to go to start counting, there’s no obvious button to get there, nor instructions on how to use the app.
Most counting apps are intuitive where you can easily and accurately guess how to use it, but not this one. It’s like a dozen others I’ve seen but harder to figure out.
I downloaded this one because I thought from the name it was from Knitty magazine but after seeing it I think that very unlikely.
It does let you click to count up and click a different button to delete rows, so I gave it two stars. It’s not even transparent about what the upgrade would cost and then I realized I wasn’t really interested enough to look that info up in the app store.
I do think others would want to know this doesn’t have the quality an app from Knitty magazine would have. They rock but this app does not.

I like a lot of things about this app. Doesn’t collect data, very clean once you pay for ad free. Biggest frustration is it doesn’t appear you can “finish” a project and have it moved to the archive section. You need to make a whole new entry in the archive and copy the information over, then delete from active projects. That’s more of a hassle than I want to go through. This is a very simple row counter, and it can keep track of the different parts of your project if you’re into amiguri (no idea how to spell that, sorry if that’s way off). If that’s what you’re looking for, this is adequate.

You have to pay for the full version for it to really be any help. You start out with only one counter, so you can’t have a counter for stitches and also rows (unless you buy the full version). The ability to store all your projects and progress is nice, until the app just deletes all of it and you don’t know where you left off. I saw someone say this happened to them and their projects came back randomly. Lucky them I guess because mine didn’t.
