I went to PlantfiePlantCareIdentifier and canceled the subscription the first day of the free trial asked me why I was canceling and gave them a answer. Was still charged 8.55 and when I went back to check to the “manage my subscription” In settings I clicked on it and it will not let me click on it has “premium status (active)” and it’s not letting me click on it I have to go into my apple subscription through my apple phone through the purchase history. Am I able to get refunded this? And how do I go about it.. I am hoping it does not charge me again because it was canceled before the free trial ended and still charged me.

I have 8 different plants in my yard. PlantfiePlantCareIdentifier didn’t recognize a single one. Demand a refund! No response from support.

Save your money. PlantfiePlantCareIdentifier rarely gets it right and miss identifies more than it identifies accurately.

The actual app is okay but what I thought was a7 day trial was actually 3. I downloaded on a Friday afternoon and was charged $40 for a year subscription early Sunday morning. Not even a full 72 hours of trial.

3 days is an odd timeframe, but even so, a person should get a full 72 hours. Not 30-48 and then charge on day 3. Not impressed. That’s $40 I could have saved.

Could not identify my plant

Not worth the cost. For $8/week I’ll just get new plants. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Why?

Not specific information, very generic diagnosis between 5-10 different things.

Not worth it- I will stick with my free app

Don’t make me create an account and THEN tell me it costs money.

If it’s not free be upfront about it. Now I have to go unsubscribe my email.

They wouldn’t even let you try the free trial without putting in your card. Almost $8 a week that’s crazy.

I tried it on some plants with nursery labels. Often wrong.
I tried it in some sick house plants. Answer always the same: water in 5 to 7 days.
WASTE OF MONEY!

I have five common plants and PlantfiePlantCareIdentifier couldn’t accurately identify a single one of them, which pretty much makes PlantfiePlantCareIdentifier worthless. I immediately ended the free trial.

Found what I needed quick but it would also be nice to know how to get cuttings off the plants.

I too cancelled the same day and have been charged 3 times in two weeks.

I was considering this app but want a trial that i dont have to use my card to sample. If i am not pleased with the app its a pain in the tush to cancel

Deceptive subscription trial with NO way to opt out. Stuck with lifetime subscription that I don’t want. Email correspondences give run around. Even addressed by a completely different name. Not to mention the Inaccuracies of the app.

BEWARE: 3 day trial DID NOT have cancelation accessible as per instructions. Tried to contact without response. Finally had correspondence and will not refund.

Ahahah I took photos of my hydroponic tomato plant that has a case of spider mites. It gave me a list of 10 problems “it could possibly be” ranging from lack of water (Um no, it’s hydroponic) to thrips (No, it’s spider mites). This app is totally useless. It also wouldn’t identify my Bearss lime as a lime, and when I took of a photo of a leaf that has water damage, it again gave me a list of “possibilities” ranging from thrips to aphids. No water damage was listed. Again, useless. Too many options, and wrong diagnoses all over. If you truly don’t know what’s wrong with your plant, this app won’t help you.

I had same horrible experience as others I’ve read. This is NOT a free trial even though they state it is when you sign up. After one week free then they state charge 7.99 I didn’t care for the app , so I cancelled the same day I subscribed. I looked at my bank statement and indeed was charged the full amount. When I asked for refund, they said they couldn’t refund me. Don’t waste your time and money. Complete false advertising.
