Hello, I have your model 2525 grill. The grates rusted and were thrown out. What are the dimensions of the grates so that they can be replaced? Ty.
i can't register it because it was a Christmas gift & I don't have a receipt, but I would like to know if there is a problem in the future.

I know a lot of people complained about v1.0, but I haven’t had too many issues with it other than the occasional connection drop. Version 2.0 is way worse. They actually took away features in the “updated” version. For example, in the original version you could set a buffer for temp alerts, but not in the new one. I had a five minute stretch where I got an alert every 10 seconds indicating my temp has dropped then I’ve reached temp again, then repeat. I even unchecked the push notification for reaching temperature and still continued to get repeat notifications. It really does blow my mind that this was released after testing and that it’s considered “upgraded”

Prior to the update the app worked great. 2.0 so far is awful. iPhone XS Pro Max - Gravity 980
1. I can connect to the grill but it always says both Bluetooth and WiFi are disconnected in the grill screen. It shows it’s green and connected on the main screen once I connect it.
2. I cannot disconnect from Bluetooth, which I would like to do and use only a wifi connection.
3. I can connect to wifi, but as soon as my phone idle locks it disconnects both wifi and Bluetooth. I then have to reconnect to Bluetooth and then wifi if I want to see it. This makes the app 100% not usable.
Prior to the update I could connect to wifi, drive to the store and when I pulled back up at home and I got back on wifi it would pull the grill up automatically. I also only had to set up the wifi once and then it would remember this auto connect the next time I pulled the grill out of storage. Bring this back, at the minimum.

The original app worked as long as you were close enough to the grill. I mostly used it when I was outside working on something and didn’t want to have to walk over to the grill. The update makes it unusable. When it’s connected it works fine but the minute it’s not it will show settings and temps that don’t actually exist. Right now I’m smoking a pork shoulder and I had to delete the app because it kept showing my probe temp was 2000 degrees and telling me the set temp had been reached constantly.
