The version before this was great. Now with the new version, none of the functionality with my Okai Stride work. Can’t use the remote tk turn on the bike. No ride data. No ability to customize the display. It’s literally only a Bluetooth connection to the bike with no functionality. Something is not right after OkaiGlobal update.

The recent update removed features I relied on like turning start assist on and off. Mine is stuck on now which was ok for me but my kid can’t use the scooter in that setting. There is no way to turn it off or on with the scooter itself. Also lost several other features as several others have mentioned. Probably the worst update in the history of smart phones.

I went to use my app for my scooter and it totally changed on me and it does absolutely nothing you can’t get ride history, it’s location, run diagnostics absolutely nothing this update has to be the worst! When you click on support or anything it says “coming soon to app” well if you don’t have it all ready then don’t update!!!!🤬🤬🤬

OkaiGlobal was a little buggy before, but I very much dislike how they removed the custom color effects for each different drive mode. there used to be an option to edit the way it looked when you were accelerating, stationary, and charging. now it only adjusts for when it’s on or charging, but with lesser effect options. I know I’m not the only one who specifically bought one of their scooters because of the unique color settings that were available. are their any other brands that have more options?

This is the worst scooter possible history of the entire world, the battery dies in two seconds and the battery will just like actually die and you won’t have a scooter anymore because the scooter doesn’t work because of the batteries is broken and I hate the scooter and I think I just broke the charger and this stupid company won’t do anything about even though it’s their faultdo not ever buy this. It is awful and the top speed is 11 miles an hour when it says, it’s supposed to go 25. DONT BUY

I originally bought the okai neon Pro with the expectation that I could cruise control and track its location. OkaiGlobal itself is probably the worst I’ve ever used and only allows you to customize the leds and screen on the scooter. Everytime my scooter connects to the phone, it try’s to activate and fails, but I can use it as if it was activated. Overall, the scooter is amazing and fun to ride, but OkaiGlobal to fully utilize it is god awful and I hope the developers update it

The recent update to this unreliable app involved removing the function to adjust ride control and speed settings, I rely on my scooter to take care of most of my day to day errands and tasks, but after I updated my okai app earlier this week, my scooter randomly switched from it’s highest speed mode to it’s lowest speed mode WHILE I WAS RIDING IT. I pulled over asap to go into OkaiGlobal to change it back but nowhere in OkaiGlobal did i have the option anymore. Very frustrating. What’s even worse is that the “push to start” safety setting also turned off randomly?? So my scooter almost pulled me into moving traffic while i was waiting to cross a busy street because of a thumb twitch… and OkaiGlobal didnt have the option to turn that back on anymore either.
TLDR: please continue working on OkaiGlobal to put all the functions we need in, because i had a really scary ride home the other day 😑

i had OkaiGlobal on my old phone to control the scooter such as the speed and lights and more . Since i got a new phone i had to re download to app and i forgot my password . We called customer service and they said that can’t change the password and they can not give us a new password . I can no longer long into or use OkaiGlobal . This result me into only be able to be on 15 speed . OkaiGlobal is the worst .

I don’t understand I just got my scooter and February February. It’s been working really well until like three days ago. It just shut off. I can’t get it started OkaiGlobal . I can’t even get on my phone to help me so has anyone ever had a problem like this if so, can you please let me know what I should dobecause it’s not a year old I don’t understand it was working fine. I can’t even start this thing.

Overall the scooter it self is great.. though it could use a brighter head light. The low point is not the scooter but OkaiGlobal it self. While OkaiGlobal has potential the fact that I can only get it to connect to the scooter 30% of the time should say it all. If you lose the activation card and the scooter is locked you are pretty much screwed. This out of everything needs to be fixed the most.

1.) you can’t charge the scoot and change the settings at the same time 🤦🏻2.) The latest update made me charge my scooter before it would unlock the 10/km sorted limit 🤦🏻. What if I was riding when I connected? Then would have been stuck at 10/Km??? 3.) can’t make the safety lights pure white 🤦🏻

I like the idea of OkaiGlobal and the direction it is going but 1. it logs me out constantly and doesn’t have any password save features which is annoying. 2. There is no history in my ride history…. 3. Not sure if the location history is based off of my scooter or my phone 🤔

Update: My scooter started to not work properly soooooo it’s obvious I would reach out to customer service right? OkaiGlobal is unrealiable when it comes to communication through the company and myself. Also, can we please get a better update? I’m starting to kind of regret my purchase.

OkaiGlobal is not in sync with the scooter. OkaiGlobal will tell me that the battery is on 59% but the Beetle will tell me that I still have three bars. The Bluetooth doesn’t always connect so I don’t know in real time how many miles I’m going. it doesn’t even record or rather it hasn’t been recording my distance that I have traveled. It will lock and unlock the scooter perfectly tho.

I under stand the firm ware on my scooter is set to 15 mph but I know the full potential is much higher I would want this to go faster like other scooters. Even if it would make the range much lower I’d like the speed

Just today I was unable to unlock my scooter through OkaiGlobal , a problem which has not occurred before. OkaiGlobal does not respond reliably and when connecting to and controlling the scooter. I would greatly appreciate assistance in addressing this locking/ unlocking bug.

Add background app refresh and more fine tuning to the Bluetooth connection with your phone. More lighting effects or options would be cool. More face customization to the scooter meter. Besides that pretty good app that’s useful with the scooter. Just turn on the push to start mode.

Honestly, I love my scooter, the OKAI Neon Ultra, BUT there’s a few problems in OkaiGlobal , and the scooter.

First off, OkaiGlobal should allow a LOT more dashboard styles, I hate being restricted to dark, light, and Christmas. It also needs a setting for the lights to have them just neutral and not breathing or meteor all the time. It desperately needs a way to connect to the scooter other than Bluetooth, because anybody could find the scooter in the vicinity and unless I lock it up with a chain, they can connect and take it. Lastly, PLEASE add cruise control and exact battery percent on the dash board, I hate having to stop to check my phone to see my percent battery.

Secondly the scooter, the rear fender is flimsy and the screws fell out, so it’s basically un-usable in that regard and I get mud all over me when riding.

A response at least would be appreciated. Thanks.

At one point a window didn’t have a way to navigate to another. Restarted OkaiGlobal and hasn’t misbehaved since. Other than that it’s worked fine.

I’d like to find a way to stop the headlight flashing when in eco mode but that isn’t an app problem.

I have an OKAI neon pro and have been using OkaiGlobal for a week now and it’s super user friendly easy to setup scooter with and super smooth ui. I have seen so many bad reviews but idk why I haven’t had a single issue yet and couldn’t be happier … your scooter is amazing btw.

I downloaded OkaiGlobal and it still needs some improvements and it disconnects from my beetle, I do love the fact that I can use OkaiGlobal to change my speed or turn off my beetle, it shows in one place I’ve gone over 300 miles but I think that was a factory test or something because I have only ridden this for 4 miles so far. The reason why it gets 5 stars is because I LOVE my Okai Beetle and I love OkaiGlobal support!! I am very impressed with them and how they try to help you! The beetle can go up to 16 mph but mine only goes up to 13 mph, which seems pretty fast so far. It’s super cute and I look forward to all OkaiGlobal improvements 😁.
