I got this light a couple days ago, first time using one of these and so far I really love it, but I'm having some issues with Blisslights . For whatever reason it does not work on ipads in some areas, such as saving timer settings (save button doesn't work) and if I try to connect the iPad to the light besides the first time I did it last night, pressing what should pair it automatically doesn't do so. Blisslights works just fine on my phone, however.

I also wish there were a way to change the stars' colors, because the bright blue is really bright for me when I'm trying to sleep and doesn't work well with me trying to keep my room dark. I also would like to be able to customize the nebula colors other than just altering 3 clouds on the RGB scale, as nebulae are many more colors than just that and the colors that you provide are so incredibly bright.

Those are some thoughts of mine, overall it's a decent product and Blisslights is somewhat okay-ish for its purpose, though I think some changes should be made to be much more user-friendly.

The light looks so cool and Blisslights works great. I followed the instructions and connected easily, though I did later have the issue where the device icon was grayed out in Blisslights & wouldn’t connect. I believe that happened because I’d unplugged it. A bit annoying, but clicking/holding on the picture & telling Blisslights to “forget” the device, then pairing it again fixed it. I think if you leave it plugged in and just turn it off, it automatically connects when you turn it back on.

Please note the Blisslight Sky Lite 2.0 is the ONLY model currently compatible with Blisslights ; older models do not have Bluetooth and will not work with this, plus Blisslights wouldn’t be able to add any additional colors anyway as the colored lights and lasers are actually built into the machine itself.

Blisslights simply lets you control the light from your phone and customize the settings of the built-in red, green, and blue nebula clouds and either blue OR green laser stars, depending on which version you bought of the Sky Lite 2.0.

Blisslights would be fine, but there’s a giant issue here. Every time I go onto Blisslights , it doesn’t synchronize to it. Whenever I tap on anything it says “please select an online device.” Even though I’m already signed in. Then I have to do it all over again, and it still doesn’t work. The only reason I’m making this review is because I had to delete Blisslights because it wasn’t working whatsoever. Since I was already here, I decided to make a review. Change Blisslights immediately because right now, it’s completely useless

I was able to easily connect to my Sky Lite 2.0 and I am able to control it: on/off, change colors, create custom settings, etc. The problem I am having is, I can’t get the Share function to work. I initially connected the lite to my iPhone. I then tried to Share the connection to my iPad. Per the instructions, by Sharing the connection, I should be able to control the lite from either device. I am unable to get the Share function to work. I’ve followed the steps, but each time it deletes the first device and replaces it with the second device rather than keeping the first device and adding the second one. I tried it multiple times with no success.

We’ve had this light for months now, and it still works great. We use it as a night light for our son’s room, so it’s on 12 hours a night.
Blisslights is easy enough to use. The only complaint I have is that it takes too long to load for what it is. And it’s annoying to see the “synchronize success” alert on screen, which only further delays me being able to do anything with Blisslights.
I should be able to control the light via Blisslights within a couple seconds of launching it. And I don’t want to look at “synchronize success.” Just let me play with that app more quickly and reliably, and it’s a 5-star app. Thanks.

Overall pretty happy withThe device, had to go in custom mode to get it to where I feel a little it’s a bit more realistic. One major thing I’d like to see is the ability to download special effects And new sky backgrounds, different colored stars etc. I think this can be done pretty easily, so those of us who bought the top model can expand their unit. Offer us new backgrounds and all of those things I mentioned when we subscribe via email and register, make it free downloads. That would also be customer lock in against competition.

The product is great but Blisslights isn’t. It could honestly be way better. You have three colors to choose from, how dim or bright you want them, can add stars, and pick if you want it to rotate and that’s about it. Although, I love how it covers my whole ceiling, and even though I get kind of dizzy when the stars rotate, I just turn that off and then I’m good. But, I feel like for a product like this and compared to other stuff on the market, Blisslights could have a lot more colors and options. Another point is that Blisslights takes forever to load. I have the light just across my room and it takes a good 30 seconds for it to be found and sync. Overall, this is an good product that needs updating.

I love Blisslights you can make different lights and colors and change the settings and pick when you want the light to turn off and turn on, this is definitely recommended if you would like to control your light on you phone. The only thing that’s a little bad is when you Open up Blisslights every time it always takes a few seconds to synchronize which is kinda annoying sometimes but that’s all I think it’s an awesome app and I love all the features on it. 💕💕DEFINITELY RECOMMEND 💕💕

I have the original Bliss Lights as well as a couple USBs because I love them and they made for chill nights during the pandemic. I bought this with high hopes but I’m VERY disappointed in the quality of the stars when used in a nebula setting. They’re really blurry.

Blisslights worked for me but it’s clunky and could probably use some additional UX help. Gonna try it for a couple days before deciding whether to keep or not.

My problem about it is that the timer does not appear to work.
I will set it to turn off at 1 in the morning when i set it at 5, and go for six hours, and it will not turn off.
I have to turn it off at night because anything could happen with it on throughout all night, going as far as sparking a fire.
Also the skylight doesn’t always seem to stay connected to Blisslights and will have to reconnect all the time.

The machine itself is amazing 🤩! I use it every night! Blisslights doesn’t do much, but it’s still nice to have. Now I don’t have to get up and walk across the room to change the projection. Also made lots of custom projections. Btw, there are no bugs I have experienced so far.

Hey I love this, but can you add a color fade to it. I’m super obsessed with color fades and I want to add a color fade to my ceiling too! Thx, bye.✌🏻

There’s no easy way to turn it on and off without using Blisslights . The problem is that Blisslights needs to “synchronize” every time you open it, or leave Blisslights and return, and the process takes about 20 seconds ……doesn’t sound like much until you do it more than once

Loves:
You can turn the lights on and off from your phone
You can set a timer
You can customize the effects to certain colors, turn stars off etc.

Dislike:
*Blisslights boots you out of Blisslights to where it randomly makes you physically turn on the light and I also lost all my custom colors that I have to redo
*I don’t like the intro that you’re forced to watch a butterfly for 5 seconds instead of going right into Blisslights . I don’t see the point.. even if you minimize Blisslights for 1 second to reply to a text, gotta restart it and watch the intro again because it doesn’t keep your place if you minimize Blisslights briefly

I actually love the light, and Blisslights just needs a little help.

I don’t know what the issues people are having but I’m having barley any trouble with mine. My only issue was it couldn’t connect to my phone but then I got it after a couple of try’s.

We have two of the bliss sky lite 2.0 projectors. Toggling between the two within Blisslights is clumsy and SLOW. I love the lights, and having Blisslights to control them is really nice, but Blisslights could use some work. A little faster and some ease switching control between devices would be great.

The Bluetooth is a great option over only the buttons, but there is no way to control multiple devices with one command (two in the same room) and no way to add these devices to homekit, and changing devices takes way too long. Finally what’s up with the 6 second required animation EVERY time you open Blisslights ? I already bought the device, why do I need to see a this app animation like that

I was expecting more controls in Blisslights . The fading feature is awful, when I select it, the darn thing does not really fade, but in reality, it blinks (which is very distracting). I wish they would give you more controls so you can gradually fade in and then gradually fade out naturally, instead this things suddenly blinks and ruins effect.

We use it every night while winding down in bed. No issues with the device or app. The customizable colors and effects are great for setting different moods. The sleep timer is a nice touch as well

I love Blisslights but I feel like it needs more colors. There are only so many things you can do with red, green, and blue. I also feel like we should be able to switch the star colors. The colors you should give us are purple, teal, yellow, white. Just do this and you will get 5 stars.

I love the projector and Blisslights is handy for customization. All my diy scenes will only work for a couple hours and then the rotation stops and as well as the stars and Im left with only the background. I hope this gets fixed as the point of this thing for me was to be able to look up and meditate back to sleep when I wake up during the night.

Disappointed by the fact that there is no visual option with the stars only like it was with version 1.0.
Please add back this option!

Takes forever for Blisslights to recognize the light each time you open it. Today it would not even recognize the light was on at all. Very disappointing. The controls, settings and GUI are not very user friendly. Clearly just an app that someone with minimal technical knowledge just slap-dashed together.

Idk what problems other people are having, works for me!

Blisslights is slick. The machine operates according to instructions.

Buy one. Doesn’t cost many 💵 💵.

I was worried after seeing so many bad reviews about Blisslights after upgrading my this app. Setup was a breeze & app easy to use!! Love it!!
