Have attempted to set up malware blocker about 4x. Just takes me on a link loop back to my own email. Trying this on a 2 week trial. App isn't great & is sort of hard to navigate. Seems buggy, although it gets great reviews? My phone is less than a year old & no issues elsewhere.
In addition to that, I was very interested in the data broker removal feature. I've had the app for about a week now. Most of the removals are 'paused', looking for some sort of 'authentication' from me. Yet, the authentication screen is blank. No idea what info I'm supposed to be providing to unpause the removal of my info from data brokers?
Meanwhile, I've managed to get responses from many of these broker sites doing manual data removal requests in the past week. It's annoying & time consuming, but at least it's done. And, let's all be honest-most of us really use apps like this for this exact feature in the 21st. This app, especially considering the price, will be a hard pass from me.

Was thinking this app was going to make a difference, but all in all it really just compiles information and gives you updates on when a company looks at your financials or personal information. Essentially it is the same thing for when someone views you on LinkedIn and you get a notification saying someone looked at you. The majority of the services this app provides are all features that your bank already has as an available option. I tried to cancel 4 days before the monthly subscription date was coming up and was not helped. Then I tried to cancel and the representative kept trying to upsell me as I was trying to cancel. It felt disingenuous as I was explaining my frustration that the response was that I should spend more money with them. I was told that it is physically impossible to be refunded and was told that they could not help me at all. While having the app, I never used it and it was just background noise. There are tons of other alternatives that are on existing apps we have with our banks. Customer service couldn’t care less. I would not recommend this app.

The VPN frequently — I mean at least once a day — shuts down the internet on my phone. And when it does that, without internet, I can’t even get on the app to disable the VPN to get internet back. So it means I have to do all these frustrating workarounds that sometimes require uninstalling the app altogether. And I know it’s the VPN because this problem started when I installed the app and only occurs when the VPN is. It’s been a thorn in my side from day one. The final straw, which led to this review, was it happening while I was driving which interrupted my navigation. I had to pull over to shut down my phone and get my internet back so navigation would work again. Completely ridiculous. This problem has been going on for the entire 7 months I have had the service and I keep thinking they’ll do an update to fix it. But nope. Nothing. Still horrible VPN functionality. And I suppose I could just disable the VPN altogether, but WTH?!? I’m paying for it! So please fix it! If it means anything, I have an Apple iPhone 14 ProMax and am running the most up-to-date iOS 16.3.1.
