I have used AudioRecorder to create .mp3 files for personal use. Quality and ease of use is excellent as a base app. I would recommend as a start and good foundation for advancing to other tools if extensive editing and sound manipulation capabilities are needed audio recorder

Easy to use, like a cassette recorder! You can record a stero track, and save it, download it, etc. Audio quality is great. Look forward to amulti track type version, which i would pay for gladly. Simple and solid app!!
