Worth the wait and a solid release. Everything is in a place that makes sense and the only way to improve on the CoSo experience is to use a desktop to access a bunch of additional features but for mobile, this is the way to go! A dedicated app without worrying about other federation’s content. No trolls, no bots, no bad actors, no ads! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I created my account, got into the site, using a browser on my iPad, easy peasy. Then, after I downloaded CounterSocial from CounterSocial Store, all I get is “Access Denied,” with the strangest explanation that the site owner has denied me access and I should contact him. Tried going back is using my browser, and now that also gives me the same error.

Looking for a good alternative to Twitter (post Musk), and I liked what I saw, the brief time I was able to access it. I don’t know what I’ve done wrong, but this doesn’t bode well. My quest for another Twitter alternative continues, sadly, this site ain’t it.

It’s the simple things in life. Like being able to utilize a social network multiple ways without the issues of web based being better for rendering.

Finally, a social media app that sees you as a the customer and not the product to sell. Cleansed no-track links, vetted information sources and industry-leading AI to clear out the trolls while still letting you speak your mind on the issues!

What’s not to like?

App is smooth and responsive and Interactions with other users have been extremely friendly and helpful. I look forward to seeing this grow.

I’ve been on this social platform for years, glad it finally has a native iOS app rather than having to use the website.

I have NEVER liked any App enough to write a review on it. Let alone on a brand new App!

This first offering, first version 1.0 of Counter Social is simply superb. The experience on the site is second only to using a desk top system. I can hardly imagine any mobile App doing as well to mimic the experience of a true fully functioning PC, LX or iOS

Users of Counter Social tend to be mobile, and CounterSocial has simplified that. Excellent interface. A valuable tool. Recommend without reservation.

Friendly UI, excellent graphics, it’s smooth and everything just works - the absolute best way to access CoSo on the go.

Goodbye fake news and bots! Excited for this platform and hope it becomes the next big thing, cause we all know Parler is terrible.

Finally an app to fit this app, instead of generic Mastadon apps. Smooth, designed to match the site, and I can finally edit my profile in app!

Counter Social is growing with over 22K new accounts. There are outages as they add capacity. It seems iPad support was removed in the last couple days. Please be patient. It's worth the wait.

The developers of CounterSocial have blocked it from working on an iPad. Why don’t they at the very least allow me to run the iPhone app on iPadOS? This is how Instagram has done it for years (not ideal but better than nothing).

A big improvement in using CoSo from third party Mastodon clients. Smooth and responsive. Looking forward to any tweaks that may be made.

Great group of people and a well-run app. The developer was a hacker and has ways to keep the disinfo and malign foreign actors out.

Made an account and then got a message saying “You don’t have permission to view this page” and haven’t been able to use it the site since. Not sure why. I made an account and put up a profile picture. Looks like I was auto banned? That’s random.

Enjoying CounterSocial format vs the web app. Responds quickly, well laid out and excellent features.

Reviewed specs in Apple store. Said device was compatible, but still clicked on down arrow to read specs. Said need 12.0 on iPad. I’m 7th gen running ios 15. Downloaded. When I tried to open, it said it was not supported, and to use web browser. 🤷‍♀️👎

When I try to open it I get a message that it doesn’t work on my iPad. When I downloaded it CounterSocial Store said it did. Hoping it’s just all the new traffic to the site today. I can use the website but not real user friendly on the iPad.
