I have been playing this game for at least 2 to 3 years daily and this last year has been awful. I would play it every single day however I find myself now playing other games because the game has a lot of issues the advertising of other games won’t permit you to continue. When a special or seasonal part of the game is offered you can’t participate because you can’t get the advertising off your screen .I have had the advertising of product, other games etc stuck on my screen for two days Bug fixes are needed constantly You advertise games with no ads. You need to consider that for this game Awful You need to consider allowing us to be able to play at least 2 rounds before an advertisement. Advertisements are to long and to constant over and over again. Ridiculous !
You also need to get. Vita mahjong off my screen so I can play the new special event

This is kind of sad for me. Last year Tile Journey just would not load. It was one of my two favorite games. I contacted you to fix it on your end, and you did. I don’t remember the exact icon, but the 2021 became a grapefruit with 2022 overlaying it. Well, here we are at the end of 2022, and once again Tile Journey will not open. Just immediately flips back to the wall where all my icons are.
I decided to delete and reinstall it even though it would mean losing years of gameplay. I like the game that much. Well guess what. I reinstalled it, and it still won’t open.
What is the point of having a game that can only be played for a year? I ask, because this is the second year this has happened to me. Both times in mid December.
Update: Here it is 2023 and once again I’m deleting and reinstalling. Like the game. Love the graphics. But it only plays well for a year. After that it’s almost impossible to load, or play more than a level or two at the most before it kicks out.
Oh well.

Was actually playing, as I do each day, got something to drink, and went to open it up but noticed it refreshed or updated itself AND tapped it to open. It starts to open but w/n 5-5 seconds it shuts itself down. Went to it in TileJourney Store and tried opening it there- NO LUCK! I know I have way more than what’s required to play because I just went thru this with another app I’d played for quite a while, and can open it but it continually crashes. What’s going on with apps/games?!! I’m seeing this happening more and more and reviews by individuals say that exact problem, so it’s not just me. Can’t play your updated version, so now what?!

I understand that free games need to make money through ads. But you have to decide whether the game play is worth watching all those ads. Having ads that are longer than the time it takes it complete each level means that I tossed this one on the first day. I have lots of free games where you get asked if you want to watch ads or you can skip them after 5 seconds. Having to watch an ad after each completed level is just really annoying unless you only plan on completing 1 or 2 levels each day.

My two star rating is because there is a new ad EVERY TIME you clear the board. The most irritating type that have no speaker button to mute plus after you suffer through the ad, it has one of those X buttons that refuses to close over and over. I stopped playing to post this review so admin can see what causes people to remove games they love because the hassle is not worth it. Am waiting a few days before I delete the game and will check back after I cool off a bit and see if the problem is fixed. I have NEVER played a game that has ads constantly like this one! It is a shame but it is so irritating I will delete the game and never look back if nothing gets done. You must be hiding reviews like mine because I am positive I am not in the minority in being irritated.

I like this game a lot but I’m now on level 286 and the last couple of levels the game has gotten glitchy. It still grays out items that are fully exposed so you cannot choose them. The only way to keep going is to make the item move using a hint but there aren’t a lot of hints. Would have been 5 stars had it not been for the glitches. Hope this gets fixed.

Three times now while competing in the Mother’s Day event this game has gotten hung up, slid yellow prize tiles out of sight behind other picture tiles for no credit, and simple refused to send yellow tiles down to the rack. O matter how many times I tap them. This messes up my count and my score and slows my progress PLUS if I go out of the game and come back in again I get to enjoy yet another ridiculous advertisement for a lame game.
I enjoy the game but this just hasn’t been fair.

I am never going to buy Oprah’s magic weight loss gummies. Not this game, not next game and not the game after that. Not tomorrow’s game or next week’s game. Not ever. And yet between every one of them I am subjected to the same ad. Just stop. Stop showing the same thing over and over and over again. Love the game and would give it five stars and I would hate to stop playing because of Oprah.

I love this game and have been playing it pretty regularly, but I’ve noticed issues with the special event games. The Valentine’s event, I completed all 300 levels and received all the prizes, but once the event was over I got a big notification that said “Sorry this event is over and you did not complete all the levels.” But…I had…days earlier. This time for the Easter event I completed 300 levels, there is an option to continue to level 301, but anytime I click it it is just a blank screen and I have to close out the whole app to get anything back. It shows that I have not completed the event but there is no possible way to advance. Love the game, but the events are proving to be a waste of time.

And it bogs down constantly. I’ve played for a while now and played through several events which are nice for a change of pace but the levels become so much harder when you are also playing an event, almost to a point of being impossible to make a move, forcing you to use your items continually to actually finish a level. It also seems to bog down continuously after a few levels, causing you to force quit TileJourney and then start all over again. If no event is happening, the levels are almost ridiculously easy, which is great if you just want to rack up coin, but I’d really love to see some middle ground instead of just extremes. Also, why not incorporate some aspects of the events in to regular game play for a change of pace?

I enjoy this game a great deal. The tiles are very fun and the levels are challenging as you progress. The different bonus games are also a nice touch. I love the revive feature and the replay feature. My biggest complaint is a series of misleading weight loss ads permitted by the developers of this game. Aside from the untruthful claims made - this is a game that is played by children as indicated in the age rating as well. I wish that the developer would take into consideration that this is not appropriate advertising on this game and consider it more carefully before allowing future businesses to advertise on this platform as well.

I really love this game, it is relaxing and enjoyable. Graphics are nice quality and the game performance has improved since the most recent update. The ads don’t bother me much as I use it as an excuse to stretch or pay attention to the TV but I suspect some people would like to pay for a no ad option.

Developers! Please give me the option to turn off the bonus points for getting a bunch of tiles in a row. Sometimes I like to play like that and sometimes I would like no time pressure. I know I don’t have to hurry but the constant prompt makes me want to rush. If it had that option, this would be a 5 star game for me!

Love this game, playing a lot. You can play absolutely free, if you have patience to watch ads. Some are long, yes, but you can deep breathe 3 times or look far away for your eye health and it’s time to play again.
Recently I have a problem with turning tiles, especially golden ones. I think it’s a bug. The tiles are completely visible but cannot be turned. Sometimes the game finishes while there still are titles on the screen. Please fix ASAP.

Ok so I understand upgrade necessity. But today’s upgrade starts me ALL over again! Lost all my 11,000 in coins and starts me at level one instead of 1000. Also I HATE the ads and that there's often no way to escape. The ad appears and then won't go away for several minutes.

That said....otherwise I like the application slot. Not too hard, but makes you think about strategy on some levels.

I’m truly enjoying this game. I’ve been battling anxiety and I find this game allows me to focus my attention without being frustrating. You definitely need to strategize but not impossibly so. There are ads but you can skip over most of them within 5-10 seconds - or - you can watch them and earn coins for different backgrounds and themes. You can choose your favorites and turn off the others.

I love this game! I love that there’s no timer and there’s no lives. I can just play as long as I want. The events are also enjoyable with the different types of levels. When I’m feeling anxious and just need to busy my mind I play this game. I purchased no adds because I play so much! This is one game I will ever delete off my phone! 🥰🥰

This is by far my favorite tile matching game—and I’ve tried many! The variety of different tile sets is impressive. The graphics are great. Occasionally the game freezes, and I have to close TileJourney and restart it. That’s kind of annoying. Otherwise, this is a fun game! Please do consider adding an option to remove ads.

This game is a neat take on mahjong and match 3 games. Requires a different strategy that is challenging but not frustrating and plenty of actually useful rewards if you get really stuck. Also, sure there are ads but nearly all can be dismissed after 5 seconds instead of up to 30 seconds like other freemium games.

Of all the tile matching games I’ve played, this is the only one that doesn’t try to force me into buying a package of upgrades in order to continue playing. Aside from the fact that it is enjoyable and addictive, the fact that the developers don’t try to force me into a purchase but instead allow me to use the “coins” I earn for successfully completing a game is the principal reason why I have continue playing this particular game while I have deleted many of the other tile marching apps. Thank you!

This has many of the attributes of Zen Match, without all the annoying needs to continue to buy more “coins” and “lives” to keep playing. While there are options to make those purchases, you don’t have to, and you can still keep playing the same level over and over until you move on. I could play this for hours.
