Really fun and addicting game. A bit annoying that you have to play a level 4 times to get a "gold" score as its not based on points like other games. I think the casino is rigged because I used to play it all the time to get much needed gems - you basically NEED them to buy upgrades/powerups to get through higher levels - but for the last day I haven't won any gems and I've played at least a few hundred times and have only won coins. Unfortunately coins only help you out with the first upgrades on a food/device/etc. or playing in the casino ☹️ The event is fun but you only get so many butterflies and you have to clear all levels with them until more are revealed and the rest are behind a locked store gate that I need 100 gems to access 😩 I'm not a fan of games that require you paying real money to win, I didn't think this one was like that at first as I'm in the 9th store, but since I can't win without gems for upgrades/powerups and the casino isn't giving me any gems I think buying them is the only option. I also dislike that after you lose you can "buy" back a list customer or pay off a failed goal with 8 gems... If you don't you lose a life and have to start all over 😣 Sadly I will be deleting this game soon if I cannot win some more gems because I'm sick of playing the same levels over and over only to lose because I didn't make enough money or because I lost an impatient customer and don't have the gems to buy more customers.

It’s a fun game, but it doesn’t seem possible to win unless you spend actually real money to buy upgrades. There isn’t an option to watch videos to get free crystals. You get crystals by winning but you can’t win without upgrades and you can’t upgrade without crystals. Even if you do buy the cashier, etc you will have to buy her again in the next level, purchases don’t transfer from level to level, it’s very frustrating. Some levels I’ve completed perfectly but still don’t win because I didn’t earn enough coins but can’t get more coins unless I upgrade the food items or buy a gum ball machine which all costs crystals which I can’t get unless I win and I can’t win unless I upgrade and I can’t upgrade without crystals... yes it’s a circle. I would like the makers to add an option to watch videos to get crystals or make it possible to win with the resources you have. It’s highly frustrating when you complete a level perfectly and still don’t win and there’s absolutely nothing you could do better except throw away real money to buy crystals and even when you do it doesn’t transfer through the whole game😡. I may actually buy some crystals for upgrades if I knew things would transfer, things like the cashier, police officer, gum ball machine should transfer over when you buy them, or don’t make them impossible to get.

This is a great game and I’ve played the different versions over the years. When I first found the first game in this series, years ago, I remember playing from almost start to finish without having to spend a single penny. I just started this particular game and I’m already feeling like I won’t be able to progress as far as I would like without spending real money. I don’t mind spending a few bucks on “starter packs” or some other type of bonus pack deal if I only do it once or twice throughout the course of the entire game but when you constantly have to drop money within each level to have even a shred of hope of progressing in the game...that’s when I throw in the towel. I’m getting that feeling with this game. Usually a dead give-away when all of your upgrades cost 40+ 💎 and it took me a week of playing to get to 41 💎. 🙄 Ive been aimlessly searching, for over a week now, for a new time management/time waster game that doesn’t want my paycheck. So sick of this “free game but it’s not really free game” crap! Still holding out hope for this one but it’s not looking good. Probably going to go and see if I can find the original version, replay it and toss this one into the dud folder. 😣 Cooking Craze is still holding the gold medal for “FREE game that really is FREE”. So if you’re like me and searching for a game LIKE this that doesn’t want all of your money, check that one out! 😉

June 9, 2018: So I must say that this is even more disappointing. Why in the world would you guys change the entire dynamics of the game. I can see if you added this new addition in order to achieve more gems and coins for the original version of the game but not to take away the very thing that makes it a time management game... It's barely any of those types of games available as is. SMH

Jan 17, 2018: I really love this game, it’s one of my favorite genre of games to play. However, what I don’t love is how you can only advance to new levels/sections of the game by using gems/crystals/diamonds, whatever they are. You don’t achieve enough during actual game play and I refuse to pay additional $ in this game, especially when the gems are priced so expensively. I would have to spend at least $10-20 just to advance to the next section and as far as I can see, there are at least 5 more sections ahead of me, which if they are like any of the other sections, you will have to use gems to make store upgrades just to pass majority of the levels. I cannot see paying so much for this game. In order to finish this game in its entirety at this point, I would be able to buy quite a few xbox/playstation games and as you can see, that’s not even comparable to an app.

Cannot believe I am writing this bc I cant stand when ppl say this bc it’s usually not so dramatic but this is one of the times it’s unfortunately true! It makes me feel awful to give it such a low rating! It’s a fun game I have loved for years! Time mngmnt games have always been my fav! Most aspects of the game are great! BUT The issue I have is a pretty big one! Each section of levels starts the upgrade process all over again! Therefore, u have to earn enough coins/gems for them each “round”. The issue is the items costing gems, are 75 gems EACH! That is ludacris bc if u buy an item, u do not get to use it in the next “area”! There are quite a few great games that do not lead u into a certain amount of levels before making it almost impossible to continue further w/out spending real $! So while I understand/empathize with the need to make money & how business works, I also comprehend not having or refusing to spend money on a game continuously bc u are FORCED to! I would honestly probably buy diamonds if not for the fact that I would feel I’m being forced into it!! So while I was SO glad they made it “free” to play all levels, now it’s attempting to make u pay to continue anyway!! Plus, your lives run out..& it takes 25 minutes for each one to replenish!

This game is addictive, however it's really difficult to get 3 stars in every level. You must keep trying over. Also, when they introduce a new person they never use them frequently ever again. So, you may not practice. Last, they do not explain very well about how to do stuff such as make a milkshake. They will show you once and that's it. This game has many flaws yet is sooo addicting as I mentioned before. Some ways this game is amazing is first, it helps out a lot that your main character speeds around your shop. Second, you can get a cashier that makes it sooo much easier and enjoyable. Every level they add something new that is so fun and fits perfectly with the game. As I said before though they add something however you never do it again. And last, I love how your always can be doing something. You never just have your character sit in one place unless they are waiting for someone to finish shopping so you can restock, even then your doing something. Those are the flaws and great thing about this game

First off I do enjoy this game very much , it’s quite addicting. So I got further in the game and purchased some more coins to get the security guard all well and good but of course the game has gotten more difficult which is normal. I can’t understand though why the little shopping baskets just randomly show up all over the floors after you just checked and there’s none. Maybe it’s people leaving but I feel I don’t even have a few seconds to actually see them and then clean them up . That’s what’s making it super hard to complete levels. I have spent some money on this game a few times now and trying so hard to beat the game but I feel defeated like I can’t beat the levels or game at all . I don’t know 😞

Update: this game has been completely changed to a puzzle game which is really lame. If the original game just had some tweaks done so you could win the gems more easily it would have been awesome. Very disappointed with this new version of “fun.” A year ago, I started this game and loved it! Got through the first level which was challenging. After the first level it quickly becomes impossible unless you purchase diamonds. The slots winning percentages are so low for diamonds that you might as well not waste your money. I have spun the $500 slot for at least 3 weeks and haven't won any diamonds yet. Even if I did buy diamonds it would be enough for only one upgrade. Not sure how much longer I will play before it becomes totally impossible. Update: Something happened to my game where I completely lost all the data and have to start over. At least I can play now. I have been at a total standstill for a while because of no diamonds. Let support know that my game reset but haven’t heard a word from them. I did purchase 100 diamonds for 99 cents once. Would be nice to at least get those back!

I originally purchased “Supermarket” game over a year ago and due to playing games and having played it many times, I removed it from my phone. Now, when I try to redownload my “previously PURCHASED !!SUPERMARKET!! game, I find it has been updated to “Supermarket” (a gem game which I DO NOT like playing!!!). I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! I don’t expect to buy a freakin Mac computer..take it in to an Apple store for an update and come home with a Windows OS computer!! This is not ACCEPTABLE!! I only rated this a 1 star because I had to in order to write the review. Ridiculous!!!!

I'm so glad you brought back the ORIGINAL format. I do like the match-3 version as well but this one is my favorite. Love the concept and the fast pace challenging levels. The improving level option is great to obtain diamonds, however it would be nice to have that option unlimited with diamond rewards, especially when the only other ways to obtain them is by the casino or by purchasing them with real money. The casino is alright but I'm not a fan personally due the time and money consumption it takes for very little reward. Unfortunately the only way to advance in the game is to have A LOT OF DIAMONDS, more so than you can EARN in gameplay, even with the casino and level improvement options. That's the only reason I won't give this game more stars...the need for sooooo many diamonds but the lack of ways to obtain them through gameplay. Otherwise the game is a winner. No glitches that I've experienced, fun, fast, challenging and a nice brain workout.

This used to be one of my favorite games. Now you have to buy crystals to: continue to play it, buy upgrades, unlock every level and the levels are not passable at a certain point without purchasing multiple upgrades and game assists (energy, cookies, extra customers, cleaners). The upgrades are extremely expensive. Once you unlock a new level for more than a hundred crystals (my last unlock was *160* for one level), you lose every upgrade you already purchased with crystals for each prior level. You seriously would have to spend hundreds of dollars for this game to be playable, forget enjoyable. The game is a lot fun when you first begin playing but it doesn’t stay that way. Also, you now get 5 lives and a half hour to regain each life. You also get the option of spending however much of your life you want to waste in a casino. Which gives coins somewhat often and don’t help with game progress since crystals are required for more than 1 upgrade.

It’s a game I really enjoy but the money grab from the very beginning is off-putting. You can upgrade your displays only once before needing both money and diamonds for the very next upgrade. Including the diamonds given at the beginning and repeating levels you have 40 diamonds (the MINIMUM needed for either speeding cart refill or something to help with customer patience) after 3 levels. This may seem okay except going forward you can only earn a possible 6 diamonds per level (this includes repeating levels to earn those diamonds). This means you have to repeatedly play 7 more levels before having enough to buy something t9 help with customer patience. And to further upgrade displays costs money plus 5 diamonds. And the deals on the diamonds aren’t that great. Like $5 for 40, so $5 for things you’ll probably need to play on in the game. $5 a piece. I don’t believe I’ll bother playing much longer.

This game is fun but it is SOOO COSTLY! Why are we paying coins AND crystals for things??? Why is it both? It should one or the other but because that is not the case, you’re basically stuck unless you spend actual money for more coins or crystals. The cashier and guard should remain throughout the game once you purchase them and why in the world is it 100 crystals to buy the cashier and then it goes up to like 175 crystals??? The guard goes from 39,000 to 40 something thousand. It’s RIDICULOUS!! Way too many items cost gems and you don’t earn enough coins to buy much of anything. The developers of this game are showing greed. Then the girl gets stuck running around the shop as if she’s cleaning the floor but she has nothing in her hand and the floor is clean therefore I end up losing the level, coins and crystals that were used at that time. I used to play this game years ago on my laptop and it was NEVER this costly!!!

Good game until you get to higher levels and save your diamonds to buy cashier and upgrade only to find out those items do not travel to the next levels So you have to start back from the beginning to try to accrue more diamonds but they require so much. The casino is a typical slot machine that also takes all your money without giving up any diamonds. So there’s no sense in playing after level 34 because you will need a new vacuum which requires 75 diamonds or a cashier requires like 150 diamonds and it’s impossible to win the levels. Or you need to buy bonus customers. I will go back to candy crush that doesn’t force you to spend money. The makers of this game should take into account that during this pandemic and high unemployment rate they would should be making it easier to play for free. Other games are giving away free items. I’m very disappointed.

It’s seriously fun to play. I recommend saving the gems/diamonds you retrieve from each level and when improving the levels. It’s easier to get the coins and just use what you can with the coins to upgrade items.

The gems/diamonds are necessary to go pass the gate to get to the next store. One gate pass cost me 45 gems/diamonds while another cost me 75 gems/diamonds. On one level, I paid 75 gems/diamonds for a cashier, but the next gate pass to a new store said it would cost me 150 gems/diamonds to purchase a cashier. I forwent the cashier and struggled through.

I’m honestly not sure I’ll be able to continue this game because of the necessary gems/diamonds for certain items. No one should be forced to make a purchase on a game to continue. Especially one that is just for passing the time. It should be a choice. I’ve given money to games before because I wanted to, not because I had to. During difficult levels, I just kept trying until I succeeded, but that’s not the case here.

Developers, it would be nice if you had one set gems/diamonds fee for passing the gate. One that’s attainable. Allow other things to be a choice, not a necessity to continue this game.

I recommend if you’re willing to SPEND REAL MONEY.

This is a fun game if you like time management games. You can play the same level multiple times to maximize score and win gems. After the first few levels you simply cannot advance without purchasing gems in game - it is actually impossible to win enough gems in any way to advance without buying them. There is a casino feature that is troublesome...it’s monotonous lever pulling to gamble, and if your kids might play this you may be uncomfortable because the game is definitely pushing for gamble to win. As other reviewers have noted, even if you use the casino feature you will never win enough gems to advance without paying cash. And the gems are not $.99 purchases...to get enough to pass a level, you’re looking at a $20 purchase - at least every other level! Way too expensive to make this game worthwhile. Developers, you baited me in because I’ve liked the other supermarket games, then switched it to a ridiculous pay to play. Not that addicted to it.

Taking the time to leave a review so that I can get diamonds without paying for it. Actually I should have without the incentive.

One star off: It would be great if the racial identity of the main character could be chosen and if the customers could be more diverse in terms of disabilities and racial identity. Challenges could still be done and actually be realistic. For example, an obstacle in front of a wheelchair user and it needs to be cleaned up. I just think it would be nice if it reflected my reality a bit more. I mean the characters aren’t aliens or some other fantastical creatures shopping.

One star back on: For not making the criminal characters fall into common U.S. racial stereotypes.

One star off: Get ready to pony up some cash if you want diamonds. There really isn’t an easy way to earn them through play.

I like the graphics, the slot machine for bonuses, and the level of difficulty. I hate when a game is frustrating because I play them to de-stress and not to be stressed. Hope to see some positive changes in the near future.

I enjoyed playing this game on the computer and now there’s a phone version I enjoy. This game is fun and addicting. I love time management games and how u progress each level. I would say the only flaw in this version is there should be more opportunities to earn diamonds if they’re going to be required to purchase upgrades. The upgrades are what is important bc they allow easier game play to win. These upgrades cost money and 5 diamonds or 40+ diamonds only. U only get 6 diamonds per level and that’s after playing that 1 level 5 times. Just to get 40 diamonds for 1 upgrade I would have to play 6or 7 levels 5 times for a total of 33 or 34 games just to have enough to purchase an upgrade. That’s crazy and unfair to the consumer. The developers should really revisit this portion of the game.

The game would be fine if things didn’t cost so much but as most games go they want you to spend real money and it should not be that way with the way the world is today and Covid-19 taking more and more lives by the day people are out of work children are out of school( by force not by choice)a game should be the last things people are spending their money on but every last one of these games have In App purchased for a reason none of these games are free they’re designed to get you hooked on them then when you get hooked they want money from you for you to enjoy the game Heck I’m wring this review just so I can get free diamonds to play in this game but one thing about me When I do something I do it right but all I can say with these games play them until the bs starts then delete it out of your phone save the space for something else or another game that’s not taxing because this one sure is
