After several attempts my new pax 3 just won’t pair with my phone or browser without an error message. I had turned on both location and reset my Bluetooth which finally got it to recognize the device for half a minute or so before getting another error message. I basically just seriously overpaid for a basic vaporizer.

So I use ConnectBrowser so I can use my Pax Era and Era Pro. Recently upgraded to the Pax Era Pro ($40 increase) only to find out there is no option to change the light color and Paxfinder is missing. When I setup my Era Pro for the first time it gave me the option to turn on Paxfinder and for that 1 day it worked, I was able to track my Era Pro, but for some reason that feature has since disappeared. I would also like to point out that with my original Pax Era, I can change the light color, yet that’s suppose to be a feature exclusive to the Era Pro. So I’m not sure who’s to blame?

The day after I bought my PAX ERA and downloaded the Connect Browser and set everything up because I wanted to be able to control the temperature ConnectBrowser stopped working. I deleted it and reinstalled it and it still doesn’t work; all you get is a page that says “about blank”. What is going on!? Just 12 hours earlier I was able to use it and control the temperature and everything was fine. Now I’m stuck with a Vape pen that is no different than all the othersThat I didn’t need and was a waste of money.

It gets one star for the fact that when you get your pax battery on there it shows the pods and lets you control it. The bad part is you have to do it every time so you can never track your pax. Please fix this. I have the pax era pro and would like to be able to find it if it goes missing

So if you’re a Pax user, now you have to connect to the Pax servers to use their vaporizer! That means anytime you use the Connect app to vaporize your product the folks at Pax know! They’ll know where, when & how much! The following is right off their website; “ We take your privacy seriously and understand it is important to you. When you use ConnectBrowser , and when you pair your PAX Product to ConnectBrowser , we collect data to” Now that ConnectBrowser doesn’t work unless you connect to Pax servers their vaporizers are useless. So now you can’t use ConnectBrowser if there is no internet. Why on earth would anyone allow a company to monitor when, how many times, where & how much you smoke?

I am able to add an Era Pro but am unable to control. Also unable to add device to an account, error is prompted and device never is added. ConnectBrowser needs way more QC before any further update comes out.
Dev team, please fix. Resetting the Era Pro does nothing. Certain Pax products are advertised as having connectability to ConnectBrowser but as of right now that is false.

Amazing when it works. But to often ConnectBrowser won’t connect to the devices.

Great app but really annoying that the connection is lost if you change to another app or shut off the screen. You have to refresh the screen and shake the device again in order to establish a connection. Would also be nice if it auto connected.

The recent pages never seems to have any history available. So I’m constantly typing the address I need to go to. Better than not having access, but still a little frustrating.

ConnectBrowser works alright. They said they fixed the navigation error in a recent update, but I am still getting the error. If we could bookmark a webpage it would really make ConnectBrowser more useful.

So, I found that if you move the Pax, as the graphic moves, on the webpage, it will never sync up.. Shaking it up and down, vs left to right, and ConnectBrowser worked great, it does disconnect a lot.

I have been a pax user for over 5 years now. I have owned the pax 2, pax 3 and two pax eras. I haven’t used my pax 2 or 3 in a while so when I got the pax era I was excited to link it to ConnectBrowser the see it’s capabilities. Found out the dropped their old app for the new one. Figured it would be a great update. And it might be. It just seems a bit less user friendly this time

the latest update “adds” the ability to clear history & favorites in the settings, but there’s not even any settings option. ConnectBrowser works fine as a browser but it’s like using guest mode on a computer, there’s no way to keep tabs open or even refresh the screen other than re-entering the website with the search bar. the most frustrating part is having to enter the website you need every single time you open ConnectBrowser .
edit: it turns out the history settings for ConnectBrowser are in the ios settings, and i appreciate the developers taking time to address my concerns!

Does anyone know how to change the default page, I only use this browser for one site and hate having to type it constantly every time I open the browser. Other than that it’s great so four stars till we get a new homepage addition.

If you are looking to connect your Bluetooth peripherals with a web app, this is the browser to get!

Seems to work great as intended. It may just be that you don’t quite know how to use it. It worked fine for me in the first try on my iPhone 12pro. When the blank page loads, you have to click in the box at the top and replace the “about:blank” with the url you want to go to. As long as you agreed to let ConnectBrowser connect to your device via Bluetooth and type/enter the correct url, you should be all set. Of course make sure that your phone is updated with the latest iOS first. Then consider updating your review of bashing ConnectBrowser because you didn’t do your research first and learn how to use it.
Then there are those that b^tch and whine that each time you leave ConnectBrowser and come back, that you have to reconnect or because the main page is blank when you load it at first. Ok, stop whining! At least you have a way to access your device from your phone or tablet and not have to get on your laptop every time!! Stop b^tching and show a little gratitude! FFS…

This is a Great little app for bluetooth web connection. I’ve tried a few different apps and this one connected my devices the quickest and easiest by far. Especially none computer type devices.
by Peiqi.design
This can do the BLE well.
But it doesn’t support iPad natively.
And it lacks back and refresh button. If there is an error occurs, the address bar will disappear and my only option is to kill ConnectBrowser and restart again.

The only reason I have this is because of the ban on the proprietary app. This one is an adequate substitute. Works quickly and smoothly. Never had an issue connecting my Pax or any janky control issues. Been using it for just under a year and this is my experience

Not sure if it’s my device or ConnectBrowser but my device disconnects after 2 minutes.
