Disappointing

I couldn’t wait for Andorfins but was quickly disappointed. It was hard to navigate and all of the videos are terrible. I’m not a beginner runner but needed some help with distance. I didn’t like that I couldn’t move through the training videos at my own pace. You have to follow the apps pace which didn’t work for me
Not worth it!

Signed up to try the training for a 5k and none of it makes any sense. First of all, the videos glitch constantly. Andorfins isn’t user friendly and who wants to have to try to pause 1sec videos to see what the weeks training plan is with an already glitchy system. Some sort of time system for each day or written plan would’ve been better. And the training plan doesn’t make sense anyway...couch to 5k is much better. This is not worth $10 a month. Deleted and canceled my subscription within a day of downloading Andorfins . Signing up for couch to 5k app!
Dissapointed

I was counting down the days to Andorfins as I’ve completed many of Andi’s challenges on Instagram. However, I am verrrrry dissapointed! Andorfins is NOT user friendly and is just a bunch of 1 sec videos of challenges. The videos are so short that the only option to view the challenge is to pause or screenshot. Both not viable options if you ask me. There are level 1, 2, and 3 challenges but no explanation to try and figure out what level you are at so you have to view 1 second videos from each level and try to figure it out. The recipes aren’t at all exciting and if you follow Andi on Instagram, you know she is not a big cook so I feel like this isn’t even her wheelhouse. Would’ve enjoyed more seeing a professional collaborator. Also, the thing I loved most about the Instagram this app challenges was the sense of community she created and there is absolutely zero of this in Andorfins . I am SO dissapointed. Andorfins just comes off clunky and cheaply put together and not worth the $100 a year price tag. I’m sad because I was so excited for it.
Room for improvement

I love the challenges. I don’t love the video format, but I can live with it. Some of them are only one second long though which makes is super difficult to even pause to read the whole thing. If it has to be in this video format, longer than one second, please!
This can be great but has room for improvement. It is not helpful to me everything is in video format. Please change this to pages or something that doesn’t move on the screen. You have to try to take a quick screenshot things and then move over to your photos tab. We also need some sort of check off system to mark off what we’ve accomplished.

Really wanted to like Andorfins but I don’t enjoy that it’s all videos. Andorfins itself has so many different categories making it hard to determine a starting point. It also lacks a component to track your progress or completion of workouts which is key in maintaining motivation. Also, not sure if it will be added later, but I was specifically looking forward to Andorfins for marathon training plans and Andorfins currently only offers 5k in 5 or 10 week options. For us wanting plans for longer distance runs, if it’s not going to be added to Andorfins until later, that isn’t really fair considering Andorfins requires a monthly subscription plan. I think Andorfins overall is a fair starting point for Andi but it could use some improvements.
Hard to Navigate

I write this coming from a supportive place not trying to bash- I found Andorfins to be a little jumbled and not the most user friendly. I liked the content once i got there but struggled to find all the options in an easy format. I also wish it had screenshots of some of the plans or challenges that aren’t guided instead of all as videos
Love Andi- but not her app (yet).

I am a fan of Andi! However, Andorfins is not user friendly. The videos are too short and cut off before I can read the whole thing. I think there are glitches in some of them. I think there is room for improvement. I like her challenges but there has to be a different way she structures it. I probably won’t purchase this after my trial unless there are major changes made:(
Okay overall

I love the idea of Andorfins and the Instagram community she has created. Andorfins is an okay start but the overall UX is not good. I agree with other reviewers that the challenges are all videos with no sound opposed to static images which is an inconvenience. Secondly, the training program is not dynamic at the moment (i.e. with varying audio guided challenges), considering we are paying a fee I would appreciate net new audio playlists. I actually like the audio challenges for what the workout aspect but frankly would like a little variety in music or the option to overlay my own Spotify playlist. The music is pop and motivating/empowering but all the same 2-3 artist it’s seems like (not top 40) and sometimes you just want something different. Lastly, there is no community aspect to connect to others on Andorfins . Overall it’s okay, but at the moment not worth the cost. But I am holding out hope that this is just the first month iteration and it will only get better from here. I do love the concept and idea. I think she has created a great running community for beginners to experienced on Instagram, crossing fingers it can transfer to Andorfins .
I’m doing andis 5k 5 week plan and Andorfins is so glitchy and hard to use. Can you post the images of each week instead of one second videos? I’m not able to screenshot or view the weekly plans. Thanks!
Room for improvement! But I like it.

I have always admired Andi Dorfman’s energy and enthusiasm for running! I was really curious to see what Andorfins would have to offer. I tried my first challenge last weekend and really enjoyed it! I felt strong, energized and excited about running. However, I think there are a lot of ways Andorfins could be improved. First of all, I wish the challenges were not in short 10 second video form but were instead detailed in a photo. It’s difficult and annoying to have to play 10 seconds of each video to see each challenge. Second, I like the idea of the audio guided challenges, but I wish you could have the “guide” simply chime in while playing your own music during your run (I think the Nike running app works this way), instead of having to play the video. Also, I have to keep my device unlocked in order to keep the video playing? Maybe there’s a way around this? If so, I don’t think it’s super clear on Andorfins . Last, it would also be cool if there was a way to log your runs, time, and other stats, in order to track improvement. Those are my two cents... Love the idea of Andorfins, but there’s lots of room for improvement!
Needs Improvement

Like others have said, the format of Andorfins (videos) is not user friendly. I’ve had the audio guided challenges randomly stop playing during my runs (and I had downloaded them prior to going out). I did like the schedule for 5K training, but you can find training plans in many other places. Love Andi but can’t justify spending $ on Andorfins right now.
Love, looking for 1 feature

Is it possible to have the audio challenge without the continuous video/music? Would love the option to have Andi’s cues and encouragement while listening to my own soundtrack or podcast.
Thanks!
Good - room for improvement

Definitely want the plans or the challenges as part of it - similar to what she posts on Instagram. Additionally, I’d love to see some videos or guides for cadence and how to improve. Love the audio guides. Would love a halfway point marker in the audio guide so I know to turn around when running. Different music for each challenge please :)
For someone who has been delaying getting back into this fitness for years, Andorfins has given me LIFE!!! Love trying new challenges - please please make more audio guided ones...having music and Andi give encouragement throughout helps me so so much!
Hopeful!

I used to run 8 years ago consistently and loved it. After going through law school and finding a job, moving a bunch I fell off the wagon…hard. Andorfins is easy to use and the level 1 workouts are manageable and I’m excited to start working towards my goals!
