Sometimes you want to play a simple game that doesn’t demand a lot out of you. Hotel Elevator was just such a game…until it got “updated”. Imagine my frustration when I grabbed my iPhone and my old friend didn’t work! All it does is open the elevator door and then…nothing! I tried pushing the buttons but all they did was show ways for me to spend money for more “upgrades”. All I could do was to shut it down and search for something equally mind-numbing. It’s a shame. Before the update, I would have given it 5 stars. Now? No work, no stars. (It’s getting 1 star because I have to in order to post.) Updated into oblivion. UPDATE: I deleted the app and reloaded it. All was well until…I missed achieving a goal and was confronted with choices in Russian! Then I checked what info it collected. I immediately deleted the app! Beware!

Highly fun and addictive game! HOWEVER, there are only 6 hotels to get through, and then it just repeats itself over and over again. I can’t give it higher than a one star rating because even though it’s a fun game, it goes nowhere. I can finish the whole game in about an hour before it just starts the vicious cycle over. That’s sad! The creators need to create more levels, and make it more challenging. I believe 8 floors is the highest a level will go…how about more?!? I will change my rating to 5 star once they add more content!

This game is fun and even challenging on certain levels, and deserves at least a 4 or 5 star rating, but... Just applied the new update but after one ad the in-game sounds stop working, which depending on the hotel you’re playing in can be crucial to your success. But when the next ad rolls around, those sounds still work. You have to keep closing and reopening the game to get the sound back which only lasts until the next ad. NOTE TO APPLE: Dev's APP SUPPORT link here in the store takes you to their Terms Of Service and nothing else. No support from the developer to be found there. Offer your users some legitimate support, and fix the only issue I can find with the game in the few months I’ve been playing it, and I’ll gladly give you a much higher rating.
