Do not use for school purposes

I, a teacher of 27 years, previously used go guardian for a class of 14, and experienced a lot off difficulties. The app often went unresponsive and crashes. While attempting to access the big ideas math program my students ended up having to reset their computers due to it not unblocking. Upon restarting there computers 3 of my students Google account’s were deleted, five of there’s saved passwords were deleted, and the other 6 were still blocked from the platform. Upon deleting the app the problem was not solved.
Overall I would never recommend this app to anyone.

I guess it’s pretty obvious why. Many people say it’s an invasion to their privacy, which is obviously true. I hate this app with all my soul. Honestly what psychopath creates such a horrible app that spy’s on kids secretly? Teachers use it, a lot. And it’s horrible. This app shouldn’t even have been thought about.
It’s horrible, teachers be strict, kicking, blocking, removing, spying on kids who are minding their business. Honestly remove this app.
I don’t care if it makes money off teachers using the app daily to spy on children. It shouldn’t be allowed.

im a student whos teachers use this app, and in particular i would not recommend this to anyone, especially since my teachers use goguardian 24/7, even after school. i would like my privacy by suggesting others who do have this app to disable their goguardian class after school. this app feels like if a serial killer was waiting for the perfect moment to lunge at you while stabbing you in the heart. besides, i absolutely hate it when im finding sound effects for my scratch games and the teachers have pixabay blocked. i know the purpose of this app is to ensure your students to stay safe on the internet, but this exceeds this goal in a bad way. id like it if this app put a little less restrictions or deleted entirely. thanks.
