My roommates and I have used Flatify for months now, but a few weeks ago an error message started popping up when we tried to log something. Now anytime we try to complete a task the error message pops up and there is no evidence that we did anything.
The idea of Flatify is great. The functionality isn’t there. I have five chores shared and rotating between three people and Flatify cannot keep up with that. Doesn’t seem like it should be a problem for a chore sharing app.
Trail did not work and now I have a year subscription. I contacted the developer over a week ago with proof of just downloading Flatify and still no resolution.
The phone isn’t optimized for my screen unfortunately.
Right off the bat, Flatify charged me when it says it was giving me a 14-day trial. Really?
I just downloaded to see what the features were like. I wish that it would sort your grocery list by area of the grocery store (ie. produce, dairy, canned goods, snacks, etc.). Flatify Out of Milk does this well, but it would be nice to have it all in one app.
This works for our family, to divide up and take turns on household responsibilities. We love how it rotates and automatically assigns the activity based on the cadence you tell her you want. For example, we have “closing duties” which is putting on the dishes in the dishwasher and wiping down the kitchen counter at the end of the night. We rotate through everybody in the house somewhere I’ll take a turn. Then nobody has to get mad or frustrated that somebody’s pulling all the weight or forgetting to do their part. It really helped a lot.
One improvement that I would recommend is the ability to permanently. Skip a day without checking it off as complete. Sometimes do to life circumstances stuff just doesn’t get done, and sometimes that’s OK. So it would be nice to just be able to skip and move it to the next day.
Flatify is a chore game changer!! I live with ten people and it’s so hard to coordinate chores so they actually get done Flatify is amazing! One thing we would really like though is notifications setting options but other then that 10/10!
