I wish to stop before my free time finishes but vocab find no way to do this. Going to settings and then Apple Store as instructed shows no Protein Pal listed. It won’t show until I’m paying! Please take me off before the free app finishes

I wanted a simple protein tracker app, I don’t care about full macros yet, just protein. I was hoping for an app that I could easily add my intake but having a few set ingredients I use daily. The free version has access to One “group” that I used for my morning protein shake, and that’s it. I have to subscribe to add more “groups”, and can only add three “favorites” for easy adding. The “free” version’s functionality is of little use because so much is behind an overpriced pay wall.
I would pay $10 yearly just for the convenience, but when other apps offer more functionality and similar ease of use, I can’t justify paying that much for this app, which others (who I agree with) have stated should probably just be a “pay once” premium app, or cheaper at the very least.
To the developer: Maybe add a “Basic” tier that allows for unlimited favorites and groups for $5 or something. That way people can use your app for the simplicity and the basics, but also get more in depth info on their intake.

Yeah you have to pay to search a food etc. Before the dev comes and claims that being bothered by that is unreasonable as I’ve seen they’ve done with others I’ll say this. While I acknowledge you put in work to make the app, there’s other apps that have the same functionality including database and it’s free. So people’s expectations will match.

I like the idea of this app. But comparing it to some of the other apps out there- The searching is not intuitive and the food database is small. Adding entries is frustrating because you don’t know if you’re adding the right product or not. Brands are missing and it’s kind of a mystery. Could definitely use improvements!
