When the description said scores, i was hoping for scores. Lots of guitar and piano music but no scores. I will just stick with IMSLP.
Update June 2022: and the Chopin etude is still not corrected. Can’t even change the note sizes without paying a subscription fee. I am really disappointed that Enote has not dealt with some basic problems and yet is still charging high monthly fees.
I beta tested Enote and had high hopes at first. Main criticisms. Inaccurate scores. Chopin Etude in C Major (ocean) first measure. I reported this at least once probably over a year ago. There are others. And the price - so expensive. And the free version is so restricted that it’s not reasonable to use.
As a professional musician who transitioned to an IPad exclusively for my singing years ago, I saw Enote and downloaded it, hoping to see if it had any advantages over ForScore, the industry standard.
I can’t say much, since there is a subscription wall in front of almost every feature. In my brief exploration, it appears to rely heavily on poor editions freely available for free on imslp, especially for vocal music.
Unfortunately, this will be quickly deleted.
Hobby pianist here. Love the layout and potential. Would recommend adding:
• a browse function to discover new music vs having to search for a specific piece. Perhaps look to Spotify for inspiration here.
• a MIDI playback of sheet music to help learners hear the rhythms and melodies.

So I’ve been following this on Instagram for a while because I thought it was an amazing concept. So far I’m loving Enote, I just wish that when you first get into Enote it shows you some music to maybe start playing like a recommended feature. So far great app and AMAZING work.
Such a great idea and implementation. I’ve been with Enote since the beta, and the work they put into this is something great. As a pianist who has migrated to using an iPad for almost all performances involving sheet music, this is a great tool with access to great music, and more being added all the time. Stellar app!
