Will visitors whereabouts be traced if foreign SIM cards are installed in their smartphones? Should they use local registered HK SIM cards?

I don’t know why the gov doesn’t use the apple’s exposure notification. Completely useless app, stupid dev team
LeaveHomeSafe is nonsense and useless
It does not take vaccinations done outsider of Hong Kong into account. As a result, my third shot done in HK is considered as the first shot. Now, LeaveHomeSafe just shows that I haven’t met the requirement for accessing anything.
So lame … Hong Kong …why don’t just use the already available Apple exposure notification??
Man, at least make use of the iOS 15 API and make this lame app available for use in iOS widget
bad apps crash
As a sporadic user of other online gov. services & having witnessed the tragic failure of 2020’s online lucky draw... I am positively shook that this (quite primitive) app actually works (and is mostly easy to use). The mafan bit is leaving the premises, you need to remember to RECORD YOUR LEAVE.
For its purpose, it just works. Idiot proof…
