Organic Dance: Weight Loss App Reviews

I never got the chance to even use OrganicDance because shortly after I signed up me and my entire family caught COVID. I have checked my setting for months to cancel this subscription because me and my family never got to use it. There is no data in OrganicDance about us using it because it was never opened for us to use only to cancel. We use these apps as family to spend time together like the Just Dance app. I the cancellation for this subscription is not in the settings and it is not within OrganicDance . I was charged and they refuse to give the refund. If I caught COVID and is now working 12 to 13 hours a day to get caught up on bills and still back and forward to the doctor every week I don’t have time to look through settings to figure an app out or send an email. The only reason I have time now because I was able to luck up on early morning hours and take a day off. So if you want to cancel make sure you reach out to customer service within the setting of OrganicDance via email before the next payment is due.

**Buyer Beware They will keep charging your credit card and you must contact them by email to stop it. You will have to look through the fine print to get their email and email them to stop charging your credit card!! If it gets charged again and you didn’t let them know- too bad— they will just send you their legal terms that you had to accept just to use. Then tell you it’s too bad that you didn’t read their 20 page legal terms to know this before you chose to download. Oh and here’s another thing, if you click on an add of theirs that takes you through their website to download OrganicDance - it will not show up on your apple apps telling you that this subscription is about to renew and remind you to opt out of renewal. Doesn’t show up in your subscription section at all and if you tell them this, they will just say that it’s because you went to their website to subscribe to this. Scammers with no good business ethics or morals - looking to take your money **Buyer Beware

This product is not interested in promoting fitness. They only care about duping customers into noncancellable subscriptions to collect money for nothing. I signed up in June after having open heart surgery because I wanted something I could do in the house to try to get back on my feet. I used OrganicDance less than 10 times and couldn't find it anywhere to cancel. I contacted customer service who assured me that they would cancel my subscription and keep me from paying for it again. Fast forward 6 months, and wouldn't you know I got billed again?
As soon as I saw the charge, I reached out to customer service to cancel. Instead of aiding me with my request, they wanted to tell me repeatedly that I should have cancelled the day before the fee renewed.
This company doesn’t believe in the customer being right and I’m sure they have bots answering the emails. The error was on their part but I’m left holding the bill. Not worth it AT ALL.

Organic Dance overall is a great app. I paid the yearly subscription which helped me count down my calories and macronutrient content so I’m always hitting my calorie goals. The quick add is nice if I follow a recipe online, the barcode scanning is great , and if I were I ate the same thing from yesterday it’s a quick easy step. I do wish they had how much calories I need to lose weight, how much calories I need to maintain, and how much calories I need to gain. Definitely worth it and highly recommend having a food weight scale to help track your caloric intake.

I have used spreadsheets and apps to track diet and exercise. The free version of OrganicDance has all that i need to track weight, diet, exercise, and even distribution of carbs/fat/protein. I have paid for apps that do much less and less efficiently. This is perfect for my needs. Many apps sell you the idea that they can meet your goals in x/weeks. No app or program will magically achieve your goals for you. If you have the commitment and dedication tools are what is needed and this tool is an excellent choice.

If I could give this program no star, I would. I signed up for it back in the summer. As soon as I signed up for it I canceled the subscription, so I would not get a surprise charge, if I decided not o continue with it. I know about subscriptions and how they work so therefore I canceled it so this would not happen. However, on November 16 I noticed that I got a charge to my PayPal account from OrganicDance. I was NOT HAPPY!!! I emailed to find out why I was being charged. They said it was for a renewal. I went and checked my subscriptions, yet I had no subscription for OrganicDance. But they still charge me anyway… upon inquiring and asking for a refund since I did not have this as a subscription they told me that I was not eligible. Please do not waste your time! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!

OrganicDance must have been accidentally purchased by one of my grandchildren and I never noticed. I am not sure how long I’ve even had OrganicDance but I’ve NEVER used it. Seems like a cool app since I’ve seen it now but I did not approve of the charge and just received a text that a charge was made (again I’m assuming). I’m not sure if this is a renewal or monthly charge. The phone number in the text goes straight to voicemail and I’ve left a message and tried to do so again this afternoon and the voicemail is full. I cannot find another number to call. I emailed an email I found and have not received a response. I am in hopes that this is seen by someone that can help me get my money back. This just happened today so hopefully it will be resolved soon.

The company uses auto billing that you cannot cancel apparently, and they do not let you know that you are being billed. Because of that, my account was overdrawn to the tune of $60! When I complained, this is the response I got…. On Sept 12th you purchased a six-month subscription to a dance plan available in OrganicDance , this app, which you have successfully canceled via your PayPal. If they can see where I canceled it, then why are they saying later in the email that I did not cancel and they will not refund my account? I have also asked twice now for proof that my account is now canceled with no response! This makes no sense!!! Stay away from this company! It is the end of the day and I still don’t know if the account is fixed 😡

EXTREMELY helpful and easy. Easy to keep up with with the reminders and barcode scanner (that actually works). It also lets you build your own recipes, which makes meal prep significantly easier. All I had to do was scan the barcode of the ingredients I was using (or enter the name for spices) and how much of it and it calculated the entire recipe for me. It even has restaurant menus, so you can still go out to dinner and calculate! Love OrganicDance 20/10.

The dancer is boring and uncoordinated! It was hard to follow her steps she literally had me dancing like a white girl with no rhythm! I had to find my own beat and learn the routine on my own so I could follow the beat. Luckily it’s the same routine day after day so I could remember it but it gets boring with no variety. The meals are super boring too! I picked the meal plan with no fish or dairy and now OrganicDance wants me to eat lentils two days and chicken two days. Literally no variety or creativity in these meals at all! I most definitely will not be renewing and it’s unfortunate because I liked OrganicDance at first. With the grocery list it was easy to go to the store and buy what I needed for the week but with no variety it becomes very hard to stick to!!

First of all I would like to warn you , these people who made OrganicDance , they don’t care about how it’s work and how it’s help , all they care about it’s how to charge you forever . I mean forever !!!! OrganicDance don’t have button to stop subscription!!!!! Once you jump in it , they going to still money from your bank acc every time when they think it’s good for them . There is no trial therm in OrganicDance. They tell in app that you can try and stop- it’s a lie!!!! There is no way how you can stop it !!!! There is no way how you contact customer service, they do not respond on your emails!!!!!! I would call them scams , and I hope they can’t delete my review, so other people won’t be scammed!!!!!!

I would give ZERO stars if that was an option…DO NOT DOWNLOAD the this app app.
After doing some digging I found out OrganicDance charges $40 PayPal every 6 months. I don’t even have OrganicDance on my phone anymore because it was so dumb!
I sent this company an email asking how to cancel my subscription and get my money back and they emailed me back to notify me that if you don’t cancel your subscription before you’re charged, you will not get your money back. And FYI good luck finding out when you will be charged, they give you no info and you have to dig around to figure out how to cancel. especially if you get rid of OrganicDance . So forewarning they are just wanting your money.

I have definitely seen results in as little as 15 days. I love that it syncs to my scale to keep track of my weight goals and helps me in every step of the way. This has made losing weight and eating healthy so effortless. It literally takes the guessing out of everything. I can’t stress how much I love OrganicDance. It is definitely worth the money if you are going to use it daily you will see results.

Even to set up an account you have to go through series of questions. No matter how much I tried different answers, there are mandatory questions such as “how many pounds you want to lose?” - which to that my answer would be: none, but that isn’t an acceptable answer, OR even worst “pick ur your problem areas? You can select multiple areas ” - which my answer to that would be again: none. There are no problem areas!!

Amazed that in this time and age, an app can get away with such linguo, forcing you to point problems, instead of being empowering , or at the very least providing a fun experience!

I’ve contact support SEVERAL times. After I was charged for a second subscription. Practices violate laws that cancellation must be as easy as the original charge. It is far from that. Since I couldn’t get a refund, I tried to use OrganicDance just for recipes, but 2 months later still can’t get into my account. I’ve reset, reset, reset, and when I log back in and go through the account set-up prompts again, go to access recipes, it asks me to pay again. Seriously!!! Support email responses, just regurgitates the same scripted email to reset my account. DON’T BUY THIS PROGRAM UNLESS you enjoy wasting time and money. If you enjoy that - hats off to you!

This is a very great app. But i want this to be able to also view my recipes again. The amount of ingredients that i have put into each of my recipe. I don’t remember them and every time i want to add the similar recipe to my food log i have to add a new recipe instead. If only i can look back at my own recipes, i would be able to make the same recipe and use the same log. Please add this feature

I love the SAP it’s it’s so easy to work with I transferred from Weight Watchers to years I feel like I get more information and the food is so much easier to follow Weight Watchers is a great program but this one is just much more conducive to my lifestyle and I’ve been on Weight Watchers forever After I have my bypass surgery I came back to this and it has made my life so much easier thank you thank you thank you

Signed up for 3 months and I’m almost on week 3, but honestly the dances get so repetitive that it’s becoming not so fun. I’m only doing it because it’s fast and easy to fit into my schedule. There are 2 very bad problems I hope they fix: most of the closeup shots aren’t synced to the beats so I tend not to even look or it messes me up. The other problem is when I try to mirror to my smart TV and nothing shows. I can see the other windows from my iPhone on screen but when I open OrganicDance it’s blank on the TV.

I’ve been using OrganicDance for longer than I can remember. It’s extremely easy to use. I love that you can scan barcodes to add entries to your diary and create foods and meals from recipes. The ONLY thing I wish they’d change, is adding a section for supplements to the daily food diary. I currently add them to my snacks but would love a separate section to easily see the supplements I’ve used that day.

The ease of scanning food packages allowed me to accurately count calories! As a mother of four I would have given up on trying to add everything up. Because of OrganicDance I am able to successfully lose weight in a healthy way!! I’ve lost 10lbs already in 2 weeks by counting calories and exercise! Thank you for such a wonderful free app!

OrganicDance itself was OK…my problem is with how the subscription works. I put in my calendar when the subscription was going to renew so I could decide if I wanted to keep it or not. When it popped up in my calendar to cancel it I went to my iTunes account, my subscriptions on my phone, and even went and looked in OrganicDance to try to find subscription information. When I didn’t find anything anywhere I figured I had already canceled it and just didn’t remember. I feel like this was very sneaky that I needed to go back to my PayPal purchases from six months ago to be able to cancel an app.

The dance lady just bee bops around with no organization or instruction. She moves so quickly it’s too hard to follow, especially is you’re not a professional dancer. Way to fast. Then she changes the exercise after about 2 or 3 repetitions, so after struggling to get the moves they change before you can get the last one coordinated. Did I say it was ridiculously too fast? Zero instruction. ZERO. If you’re a professional be bop dancer, maybe you would like. Not sure what organic has to do with any of it.

I am a senior who will be 70 this year. I find the pace too fast and there is no initial slower run through of the individual movements before actually starting the dance routines. I have seen other exercise classes presented by 3 trainers at the same time…one at a slower pace…the main one at the regular pace and the third one doing a faste, more energetic routine. You could then follow the particular trainer who fits your own level of comfort.

I guess because I do a lot of digital stuff myself I recognize a lot of the beats which makes the music choice for OrganicDance seem a little generic, but while the dance speed is too fast for most it is perfect for me. I also wish there was screen rotate available so that I could use OrganicDance on my tablet. Kind of hard to watch a little phone screen from far away. I like the meal plans and dances though!

I’ve barely used OrganicDance in six months, I looked everywhere on OrganicDance to try to figure out how to cancel my subscription because they suckered me with the automatic renewal, and then they didn’t even send a text or notification in anyway to tell me they were about to renew it and offer if I wanted to cancel. That tells me that they don’t care if their customers are happy they’re just going to make it very difficult for you to cancel your subscription and keep renewing it every six months automatically!!!!!

I always struggled with keeping my workouts on track as I travel a lot. Sure now I don't have that ""problem"" you know because of the whole pandemic thing, but I just
thought that when everything would be back to normal I'd use OrganicDance and train wherever I am!👍

I was excited to purchase his app, and I really leave reviews.I feel like I wasted my money. I did it three months subscription. After 30 minutes I just couldn’t complete it. The dancers are not dancing on beat....Absolutely no the rhythm. So if you’re trying to follow it’s almost impossible. The music is a cheesy and not motivating.I definitely would encourage the developers to seek people who actually have rhythm because that’s the whole point of dancing and find better music.I wish I could be refunded. A waste!
