Kleo seems to be back up, but I still can’t get passed the free lessons, I finished 58% of the lessons before Kleo went down. when it didn’t come back up for a little while I canceled my membership to wait until everything was worked out but now that it’s back up, it will only allow me to do the free lessons and when I try to hit unlock everything it doesn’t do anything. When I try to hit restore, it says that it can’t find a subscription, please fix this so we can use Kleo . It would be nice to at least get a month free after what we’ve been through because I still had my payment come out and couldn’t use Kleo for at least 3 weeks before I finally canceled it. It’s a shame there’s been so many problems with it because it’s The best language app on Kleo Store by far. I will come back and fix my star rating once you people have fixed Kleo but for now I can only give one star because I can’t even use it.

I really like the concept of Kleo, but the voice recognition is so frustrating. There are so many times that I know that I’m saying a word correctly, but it won’t recognize it.

I started using a different app before trying this one out, so I had a head start on Spanish language studies. Through level 3, I know at least 75% of the words that they are teaching (but don’t mind the reinforcement), but with that there are plenty of words that I know how to say correctly and I get counted off for some of these words it doesn’t properly recognize. We’re talking about some really easy words too… like fácil… not a difficult word to say (pun intended), but Kleo won’t take my pronunciation.

I really like the concept of Kleo but I think there are some technical issues that need to be fixed. Those really frustrate me. The other issue is that Kleo seems like it will not take you very far should you want to achieve a higher level. My goal is to be at least a B2 level speaker, but from what I can estimate based on how much I have left to go, this may take me up to A2 level, but not go beyond it. I’m about 35% of the way through and it’s introduced 250 words. I know about 1,200 words from a different app and I’m not nearly finished with their A1 level.

I feel bad leaving three stars since this would be excellent for someone just starting to learn. I’m currently at a B2 level in Spanish and wanted an AI solution to practice speaking at home without having to pay a tutor or having to go to a language exchange, but I’m a bit too advanced for Kleo as it stands now (even though I still need a lot more practice!) I wish I could have known what the basic curriculum was before signing up for a paid subscription. Bottom line—if you’re just starting out, this is a great option with excellent speech recognition. If you’re more intermediate or advanced it looks like you’re best bet is still to talk with a live person.

Cleo has been great fun! The concept of using voice recognition in language learning is about time, and this app has done pretty good job about it. Yes, it has a ways to go. Voice recognition on short words with long vowel endings needs work.

When this app does not understand what you say you can get a bit frustrated as you know you said the word or phrase correctly, and on the second try this app understands it perfectly. The scorekeeping is frustrating also because even when you get something right and this app doesn’t understand it, it’s counted wrong. Another issue is the wonderful feature for review of all the words you got correct or incorrect, but again even when you got it correct but this app counted it as wrong, it’s not a very accurate tally.

It’s definitely a fun language learning app!

I’ve used numerous methods to learn languages including honors classes in school, dozens of apps, software, books, podcast, etc and nothing comes close to the incredible experience I’ve had with this app!

I’m currently learning Spanish, something I’ve been attempting off and on for over a decade, and I’ve experienced an immense improvement with Kleo from day one!

I know every app claims to be fun, however we know that’s not usually the case.
I was pleasantly surprised that Kleo is actually fun and enjoyable!!! =)

The instructors are expressive with their positive feedback and encouragement!! This is something I’ve never experienced with any other method.
I feel empowered and motivated to learn more!!

One of the best parts is that Kleo had me speaking from the first lesson with confidence!

My main focus is to be able to speak and connect with others vs having perfect grammar with writing.

I’m so appreciative to have finally found an app I am excited to use daily for more than just a couple weeks or months!!! I know I’ll be using Kleo long term and enjoying every lesson along the way!!!

Looking forward to what other languages will be introduced!!

I love how the program gives immediate feedback and that the prompts and feedback are given as video. It really feels interactive but what makes it especially useful is the quality of the voice recognition; it picks up on the specific word that you mispronounce and gets it right most of the time. Other programs give a pass even if half the words are wrong.

However, the program stopped working yesterday and even the website is unreachable. I hope this is temporary.

Updating my note to say - it was amazing when I started and now it’s part of my day. I have never been able to stick with something for more than 1 week - and now - I’m going on 7 months straight with Kleo. I have reached a point where my confidence is where I want it and I speak Spanish pretty naturally. And it’s all thanks to pushing myself in Kleo every day. But - More Spanish lessons please.

Kleo is keeping me motivated to learn. I love the family dynamic of your “teachers” and the visuals is seeing them and feeling like you’re interacting with them. But the new practice list feature is why I’m finally getting around to rating it. Love the new feature. I’ve never had any issues running Kleo , it’s andata very smooth and there’s a lot you can do with it. I’m learning a lot of grammar rules in a fun engaging way.

previously i downloaded so many apps just to learn Italian and i never got anywhere - i started to think it was me and it seemed impossible.
BUT now - Kleo has brought me so much hope because i can tell i am learning, and its so exciting seeing how progress i am making. i can recognize words being used in conversation, i can communicate with people and not feel nervous. I wish i found Kleo sooner!!

As a legally blind person, I have never found a team of developers, so willing to work on accessibility! I am so thankful for all of their hard work. If you haven’t tried Kleo, I highly recommend it. It is interactive, teaches, practical phrases, and easy to use and navigate. I have been using it for a few months now, and feel like I have learned considerably more with Kleo than others that I have tried.

I studied Spanish education in college and have been wanting to learn Italian as well. Kleo incorporates so many key language learning factors. I have only done the free trial lesson, but I can already tell it’s by far one of the best apps out there and one I will definitely be purchasing. It has a lot of things I’ve been wishing other apps had, and it very closely mimics an immersion setting (as much as you can really get without actually being immersed). I love the personal feel to it and I’m super excited about Kleo.

During my 25 years as an administrative assistant in a Catholic Elementary school, I have been exposed to many different language learning softwares and programs. Whether the program was suggested from a teacher on staff or from a professional development team, we were never completely thrilled. However, as soon as I started using this app I could instantly see a difference. It is user friendly, the interface is both attractive and very organized. From the very start this app is naturally engaging and encouraging. The instantaneous feedback is especially valuable to help learn.
The initial lesson welcomes you into someone’s home, which is very realistic and charming, unlike other programs that remind us of glorified flash cards.

I find myself naturally wanting to continue to use the program.

this app is certainly a dynamic and unique learning platform. I am eagerly awaiting to have this app release their Italian course!

Wow. My number 1 complaint with any language learning platform is the lack of practice. I’ve memorized so much Spanish vocabulary and grammar rules but I still can’t respond properly in a real life situation. People have advised me to live in a Spanish speaking country to *actually* learn how to speak, but that isn’t always feasible! With just a few lessons from this app I already feel more confident and want to invest my time and money because at the end I’ll finally accomplish the goal of SPEAKING Spanish. Thank you for creating this - finally !!!

I heard a lot of hype and had to test it out for myself. I speak three languages and never had success with Rosetta Stone or duo lingo. Five minutes into using this app I had a huge smile on my face and was really excited about learning Spanish. For me, the key to learning French and Turkish was to spend time in France and Turkey and to be around native speakers. While I always have wanted to learn Spanish I never had that same opportunity. this app brings you into the homes and lives of native speakers and teaches you with the same techniques as a full immersion program. The quality of the video as well as the technology that rates your responses and corrects you is absolutely incredible. Kleo is state of the art and I cannot wait to keep using it.

I have tried numerous apps in my quest to learn a new language, but I quickly lose interest.
After a friend would not stop talking about a new language app that was just released called this app, I had to check it out.
this app has reinvented how we can learn different languages providing the ultimate user experience. Each section is methodically planned, providing the feel of a personalized tutor with the convenience of an app. The this app app is a powerful, innovative solution that provides customized feedback to optimize my learning capability without making me feel overwhelmed. Furthermore, Kleo does not restrict the number of languages you can learn and lets you go back and view refresher courses, so you don’t get rusty.

Literally Kleo has become my go-to, replacing all the various tools I was cobbling together in my hard-headed determination to be able to speak Spanish without having to psych myself up every time. The one thing I was finding myself wanting - they actually did it!! I can save words in my own lists to practice!! I had been writing them down in a notebook and marking where they were in Kleo so I could go back and practice them. And it took a lot of time. So now I already put all those words in lists in the feature, and I am the happiest!! THANK YOU THANK YOU

I’ve used other language apps before, but none of them really did what I wanted them to do. This one is different from the one’s I’ve used before, but in a good way. I love how instead of just learning vocab words, you get an experience similar to one in a classroom! You learn how to conjugate verbs and different subject pronouns like you would in school, but you get to move at your own pace. I love how there are short videos that explain when to use different verbs and how to pronounce them. I think those videos are cute and extremly helpful! While you do have to pay for a subscription, I think it’s entirely worth it.

I’ve always had the goal of learning Spanish ever since I visited Spain in 2019. Once I got back from my vacation, I explored around with a few apps like Drops and DuoLingo. They all mention how they’re interactive, and I didn’t have a problem with any of them but for some reason none of the content stuck and I didn’t feel the motivation to keep going.

Now I find myself downloading another language learning app that claims to be interactive, and I must say after going through the first 2 Spanish lessons, this is interactive on another level. Quiero ordenar un café… it’s still fresh in my mind.

The content and experience is engaging, educational, and refreshing!

I have tried several apps to learn español, and I still actively use three of them. I stumbled upon this on App Store. Initially, I was not sure what to expect. After using it for one day, I was hooked! It is very easy to use and I can see the thought process behind the learning method. Unlike Duolingo which tries very hard to be “random” and hide grammatical explanations behind examples, Kleo uses a combined method. At times, it explains the grammar directly, which in my opinion is necessary for a beginner. The progress is pretty quick and effortless, and the lesson sizes are perfect. The price is well worth it and reasonable compared to the other apps. Kudos to the developers. I believe this has a bright future in this crowded field of language apps.

I was really impressed with the way this app simulated the realistic environments for using Spanish.

I found it much easier to meet my goals and learn Spanish quickly without the overbearing drills and text based activities other apps offer.

10/10, would recommend for anyone looking to try learning something new or resurface old language experience.
