I am an ophthalmologist who is trained with OCT images. I have tried the free version of the app. The images are good, the mark-up feature is educational, and the diagnoses seem fairly correct (although an OCT scan alone obviously won’t always be enough to establish a diagnosis). However, the app itself is too glitchy, at least on my phone 13 pro max. At times the app does not respond when I want to go back, the icon arrow to do so is way up in the status bar. The organizing of the app is also not entirely clear.
I like the idea behind this. If it worked well, I imagine it could be a useful pass-time. I will keep the app, and try it again the next time it is updated.
