Writing Space: Books & Scripts Reviews

First let me start by saying that i think the UI is beautiful on WritingSpace. It is simple and super easy to navigate. I haven’t experienced any syncing issues or unexpected crashing which is always a plus for any writing app. My issue is that it doesn’t seem to be keyboard friendly. I use a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for typing on my iPad sometimes and while typing is a breeze, whenever I need to scroll or interact with the screen to do anything it begins to glitch. It basically closes not only the bluetooth keyboard but the iPad touch screen keyboard as well which forces me to leave whatever i am working on and come back. There are even times where i might be successful in tapping the screen to make a change, go back to typing and the few words will just disappear. I haven’t had this issue using the iPad touch screen keyboard and in that aspect, it would be 5 stars across the board because it really is a good app. I just wish it was more compatiable with my BT keyboard.

I think this is a great app but I think you should be able to draw pictures. Some of the text filters are not usable for me. Is there an update that I did not notice? If not please fix the bug.

I love WritingSpace and am already writing a series, but I want the world to see it not just on my yt channel. So now for my question, will it be available on books an an Apple device? Please answer my question and if so I will be even more happy! Thanks for so much fun in WritingSpace !

In the last few days I have noticed WritingSpace continues to crash repeatedly. I have it installed on an iPad Mini. Today I deleted a project I was working on and the crashing is worse. While it does work in landscape mode, the text on my other project now seems to be in portrait. I’m paying for this? It might be time to find something different, more stable.

I’m loving it so far. Best layout I’ve found downloaded every single one on App Store. It would be amazing if there was a Mac app to sync with. I have to write in notes on Mac then copy paste as of now when I make additions to a project I started on WritingSpace. Pretty please!

Love WritingSpace for my novel but only 26 pages in WritingSpace is no longer allowing me to convert to PDF and when I try, WritingSpace freezes and I have to force close. Not sure how I’m going to print anything and I’m afraid of losing the work I’ve done.

I've been using it for a while but I just wrote a chapter for like 5 days and half of it got deleted, I'm angry I worked very hard on it please fix it! Other than that it's pretty good it has lots of good features.

Hello. WritingSpace is all good and very very neat. Only thing I have as complaint is how for some reason the copy/paste (Command C/V) on my iPad does not seem to work for WritingSpace. Both copying within WritingSpace and pasting text from outside.

I love WritingSpace but I would like it if you could add something to tell you how many pages you have done that would be great!

Every time I try to open it it will crash can make a update to fix that bug please

I really like the idea of WritingSpace and how simplistic it is but there is a serious issue with keyboards. Every time I’m writing and I hit the delete key, I can no longer type anything. I can only continue deleting words. It’s really annoying and makes it impossible to do what WritingSpace is made for - WRITE!!! Please fix this ASAP.

This writing app is so fun! I love how you can customize your book cover. I feel like it is an amazing app, because you can separate the chapters from each other it is THE BEST WRITING APP IN THE HISTORY OF WRITING APPS!

Haven’t used WritingSpace yet but very excited to! My passion is writing and when I write I feel better. Hopefully this will be WritingSpace for me.

WritingSpace has helped me make my first ever book it’s so helpful thank you so much for making it I read it five stars!

I just get it and I think it is fun but is there anyway u could make it so I can read other book? If that’s already on here then but I’m new so idk

I think you should help one with writer’s block by creating an AI on WritingSpace to generate sentences and help people gather ideas for their stories.

I wanted an app that had chapters in it so I could write my book, a book I hope to one day publish. If I am saving up to be an author, the last thing I need is an app where you have to pay so much a month just so I can have more than five chapters in my book. Back to Wattpad it is!

How would I move this to a email to send to editor. New to this iPad so many things I don’t know how to use.

gave a review, apparently there was another update, got the update, was in WritingSpace for half a second b4 it kicked me out. y’all i’m getting sick of the notes app like 😭. it’s terrible babes pls i am on my knees ;(

I’ve been using WritingSpace for a while now to write my first novel as a student in high school. It’s amazing so far and has some great features, BUT, I can’t seem to download my book as a PDF. WritingSpace always crashes and stays on the same screen. I’ve been trying to save it as a PDF for a while now, but it just does the same thing!

I like the simplicity of WritingSpace . Especially like how book writing is organized into chapters.

The various themes and ability to edit them is also great. I also like how I can upload my own book cover.

It was a good app until it started deleting all my stuff,

It took me a whole night to write something and it deleted.

I love WritingSpace, but it kicked me out! I wrote a long story, and it kept kicking me out when I tried to go into WritingSpace .

Failure. Deserve refund.

WritingSpace does not work for IPAD landscape mode!?
I did not notice that it is designed for iPhone and therefore should have interpreted that it is not for IPAD?
Not possible to use the keyboard unless I want to red sideways...
Hopefully I’m just neglecting some setting to make this practical?
