I wanted to be able to get an app that would allow me too make multiple widgets with different pictures, This was what I thought PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget would provide. But it turn out that the widgets you create go to the same album even if you have created multiple albums with different pictures. If that is confusing, Say I made an album with pictures of friends, then a second album with family, the first widget i created shows the friends album, then the second widget which is supposed to show the family album, shows the friend album instead.

Intuitive interface allows you to tap and select multiple photos to be in your ‘album’ to be displayed as a widget. All widget sizes supported. Easy to add or remove individual photos without starting over. Tried several similar apps and this is the best user interface that I have seen so far.

I love PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget and the ability to put photos from my favorite shows and actors as well as photos I have taken myself. However, I would like it better if they didn’t shuffle the pictures in your album and played them in order. I want corresponding pictures on different widgets but that isn’t an option.

PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget and widget works well for me but there is a very small white line on the right hand side of the widget over all my photos. If that could be fixed that would be great. Also if we could get a 1 or 2 minute cycle option for lots of photos that would be awesome!

I love it! I tried a lot of different apps and they were really complicated and weren’t working properly. PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget however is simple and easy to use. However the only feature I wish it had was the option for the photo to never change.

I love PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget . The new update says it give you the ability to add unlimited photos to the widgets, however, mine has not gave me that capability as of yet. It’s been updated and I went to add to my existing album and it says “100 photo max” and creating a new album says the same. Any solution?

Very nice app, it's awesome to have my favorite pictures on the home screen.

One request: I often tap the widget either because it's a great picture and I want to see it up close, or because something's wrong with the picture. It would be great if tapping the widget would

- open the current picture shown
- offer an option to crop it edit it
- offer an option to keep it on the widget or change to the next one

Minor: I'm not sure if there's a "random" option. It seems like it either shows pictures by name or by date taken. I'd like a shuffle mode, or if that's already what it is, clearly call it that.

PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget does what it says, you can have a (slow) slide show on your home screen in a widget, with a new picture every few minutes. Great. Lots of ads though if you need to change any settings, but no ads on the widgets themselves.

It's better than Apple's photo widget because
- you get to pick which photos to include
- when you tap the picture PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget opens, and when you owe PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget , it will have put the next picture
- you can crop all selected pictures in PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget . This is destructive, but since the photos are copies, your originals are fine

Personally I'd like to be able to buy PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget to get rid of the ads, and I'd like it if the crop options included a preset crop aspect ratio matching the tile shape. Even better keep the original photos, and memorize different crop choices for each tile shape and size.

I waited years for this type of widget, i tried others but this one is definitely winning, the part that I don’t like is that some photos are bigger than the widget and doesn’t fit well so what i see are part of a face, part of a body but no the full photo, It could be nice if the photo fits well in the square without editing the pic to fit in, and more than 100 pics will be great, but for now it’s the best for those who love to see pictures of fam or something they like I recommend this one 100%

I think PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget is probably one of the best optimized photo widget app that RUNS consistently.
I think one simple QOL update is when viewing the album, have a smaller grid rather than 2x2 album grid. It kinda feels clunky and having smaller grid views more photo and helpful to edit large albums

I really really love PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget, however, the new added refresh interval seems to be “broken.” I put my pictures to refresh every 24 hours buts refreshing at every 10 minutes or so. Hope this is fixed as soon as possible. Every app that I have downloaded so far has had this issue and PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget is my last hope.

I was looking for a app that I could customize my widget and not have a slideshow, so PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget is designed so that you can do a slideshow so what I did is for every photo I created a new album and best of all I could choose the photo I wanted.

I loved PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget . It was what I was looking for since I couldn’t edit my pictures on other apps, and neither could I adjust the text or time they appear. Though! I find it frustrating that i can’t manage the order in which my pictures appear. That would be a nice feature to have. I would love to see in the future text highlights, that would please my eyes really, it would facilitate to see the letters making them more simple by adding a color block behind the text. Another suggestion would be to be able to add outline to the text. This is crazy, but...what if gifs, moving pictures, could be there....that would be awesome. Sorry, quite the dreamer here.

THIS is the best app for the iOS 14 update only because yhu get to choose the size of the picture yhu uploaded and if yhu tap on the picture when it’s on your homescreen yhu can change the picture and I love that so much I jus wanna say thank yhu and this is so much better than the one I had before

I tried the other photo widget apps and they only allow one photo widget with only one album. On PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget, you can create multiple albums with multiple widgets and it can filter through each albums photos perfectly. I love PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget. You can even filter photos down to 1 minute intervals. Highly recommend.

I like PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget a lot. Works as described. Only thing I wish it has is the ability to change how often the photos rotate. I would like to see them change very often but I know some people don’t. I would most prefer them to change every time I open my phone, but I don’t know if you can get that information from the phone.

I've tried the other popular photo rotating apps and this one seems to get the job best done so far. What I love most about it that the other apps strangely don't allow is being able to keep the photos for the widget on the widget even when I delete them from my Photos app. The one issue I'm having is photos rotating as soon as I open and close PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget even when I set the interval to 60 minutes.

I’m honestly shocked this doesn’t have any reviews. This is a great app. The setup is more user-friendly than any similar app I’ve tried. 10/10 would recommend.

My only critique is that I wish that we could adjust how fast the album rotates once the widget is on the home screen. Hopefully they add that feature soon! All in all, I’m super happy with it.

Update: turns out you can adjust how fast the album rotates!! Truly a fantastic app. Use this one for all your photo widget needs.

When photo widgets first came out, I used another app that was called Photo Widgets. Recently, just yesterday it came out with an update that added, what it claims to be a “few vip features” however it felt like it was impossible to use PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget at all because anything you did required you to pay a subscription. Subscription was not only expensive, it was a weekly one. Glad I found PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget. I would recommend PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget to everyone !!

Have looked at many of these photo widget apps and the functionality here is way better than the rest!

Being able to edit the photo so you can have the widget preview is KING.
I mean honestly, without it photos look hit or miss in the widget and sometimes they’re terrible!! That’s my experience so far in a lot of the other apps.
Can be a little time consuming to adjust the pic but a must if you want it to look good.

Would love to see a little more flexibility within albums.
Copying/duplicating an album so that you can easily create another widget with similar content would be great. Also being able to select/copy pics that you’ve already edited from an album, so that you can easily add them to another?

At any rate....... PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget is genius!!

PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget allows you to choose how frequently the pictures change, down to 1 minute, and it actually works unlike of some of the other photo widget apps where it takes forever to change. This is free too so thats a plus.

The photo modification with preview is also amazing.

I love that I’m able to pick which album each widget is assigned to cycle through but, after a few hours of use the quality of the picture started to become pixelated. Very promising will still use but that’s the only thing that bugs me.

I would not make PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget name ALL CAPS! It’s shouting at me from the Home Screen.

I really like PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget, I think it’s really good! It’s quite simple to use, and it displays widgets great! Amazing app, would definitely recommend to others, it’s better than most I’ve tried to use so far!

I love PHOTOALBUMPhotoWidget, just downloaded it and I love that you can have separate albums.

If there were one thing I could change is to be able to organize photos in the albums. But other then that it's amazing!
