Would be nice if you could delete the images from your photos, and PhotoWidgetTheBestOne would retain the image to cycle through the widget. There is another photo widget app that does this, however overall PhotoWidgetTheBestOne is better in quality. This is the BEST photo album widget app in the Apple Store. It works as intended and there are frequent updates. I think I have tried all the apps and by far this is the best!!

Is PhotoWidgetTheBestOne I was looking for, it’s easy and simple and it can run shortcuts. I just would like that it doesn’t open PhotoWidgetTheBestOne by itself and then open shortcuts , it will be nice to do this process on the background. Anyway I think it’s because apple’s limitations, and maybe it can be correct in the future. Anyway, PhotoWidgetTheBestOne is awesome 👏🏽

PhotoWidgetTheBestOne is 100% what you’re looking for. It’s what you should be able to do native in the Photos app. You select your photos, you choose the size, and it rotates through them. No matter Apple thinking it knows what photos you want to look at.

In an ecosystem riddled with free apps that aren’t technically free, but are subscription based or locked away with IAP, this IS PhotoWidgetTheBestOne .

Completely free from any form of monetization, very simple to use and it actually works.

I really like PhotoWidgetTheBestOne. It’s simple and easy to use. I also like that the privacy policy states that personal data is not collected from users. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that I would like the ability to adjust how the image fits within the widget frame; however, this is minimal.

I can’t imagine that selecting a specific album to display would be that novel of an idea, but apparently Apple decided to tell you what photos you like best 🙄. PhotoWidgetTheBestOne puts you in control. Thank you!

Many establishments are asking for proof of vaccination here, so I use this to quickly have my vaccine card ready to show in one tap. Saves a little time vs opening photos to find it. Works perfectly and no ads!

Looking for a widget that lets you select what folder you want the photo widget to cycle through? This does precisely that. I don’t need aesthetic themes; just want to see the pictures that I think are great, not what the algorithm decides for me

Really easy to use, I wish the cropping was a little better but I read the developer is working on that. PhotoWidgetTheBestOne really makes me smile seeing my loved ones on my home screen.

Great app! I love that you can choose which photos to put in each widget and that you can make the widgets into slideshows and choose the time interval.

PhotoWidgetTheBestOne and the instructions for it say it supports adding albums to the widget settings, but there’s no buttons for that.

There’s also no way to create a widget of type album like the instructions say. Kind of inconsistent and scatterbrained.

I’ll use a different widget app thanks.

Does what it sets out to do. Everything it claims to have, it has. Thanks to the developer for creating it! There’s a few things I think it could improve, however.
It would be cool if in PhotoWidgetTheBestOne , it would show photos by album. For example, I might want to have only photos from Album A on one widget, and only photos from Album B on another. While I could simply select the photos I want from the list in PhotoWidgetTheBestOne , it would be even easier if I could just pick Album A or B.
It’d be great to have the rotation window customizable by individual widget.
